B. von Iiondensatorllelü_@#u auf der Aussensehielit eine erhöhte Dielektrizi- tätskonstante zu erzielen, dann kann nach Ein setzen der Bauteile in die Giessform in der vor bestimmten Anordnun- in die rotierende Giess- form ein fliessfähiges Material für die Bildung der Einbettun;
Centrifugal casting process for the production of hollow bodies. It is already known to embed individual components, such as coils, in synthetic resin in electrical devices by using them. liquid ionomer of the synthetic resin in question, preferably in a vacuum, and then carried out the polymerisation of the mononisation until complete solidification and hardening.
There are also synthetic resins known which are particularly suitable for this process, in that the polymerization takes place without splitting off volatile constituents, so that the spaces to be filled can be filled with the synthetic resin without bubbles.
However, in the practical implementation of this process, difficulties and inadequacies have arisen, as initially the mononier after filling actually fills the entire space to be filled, but partially flows out again during the subsequent polymerization, so that not all spaces are completely are filled with synthetic resin and therefore produce an unsatisfactory result. You can get through this difficulty though. encounter that the object, e.g.
B. thus the coil is used in a casting mold. This process is, however, relatively expensive because each coil size requires a special shape, and is also insufficient, as with the Kiiiiisiliarzen used up to now a shrinkage occurs during solidification in the mold, so that the removal of the finished casting from the mold can cause difficulties or is impossible.
The latter shortcomings naturally also occur when coils are not only to be filled with synthetic resin, but are to be embedded in a mostly cylindrical synthetic resin body.
The present invention now aims to achieve a method which in principle bypasses these difficulties and inadequacies. The invention relates to a centrifugal casting process for the production of hollow bodies with subsequent transfer of the flowable material into a solid body consisting at least partly of polymerisation resins, characterized in that constituents of an electrical device fixed in the mold are also poured in. You can here z.
B. proceed in such a way that at least in part a flowable material consisting of such synthetic resin starting materials is used, which cure without splitting off volatile components by polymerization or polyaddition.
Since the flowable material is kept in its rooms by centrifugal forces due to centrifugal forces, and that until it is converted into a solid, dimensionally stable state, the aforementioned disadvantages with regard to sore sight of the mold also automatically disappear, since the casting mold after the axis of rotation is not limited by any components, rather a free surface of the material is formed here, which can easily follow the changes in shape brought about by the shrinkage.
Based on the usual working methods of the known Amvei, sdes Schleudergiessv er method, pourable material can also be used, which due to increased, above the Sehmei-zpnnl:
#t lying working temperatures is kept in a fluid state, whereby the subsequent conversion into the solid state takes place by a corresponding temperature reduction.
For the synthetic resins which are of particular interest when the method is used in electrical @ -. 'Egenstänclen, favorable results for certain applications are obtained on this basis using thermoplastic synthetic resins.
With regard to the fact that the material particles are moved into the spaces to be filled under the influence of centrifugal force, there are rigid requirements for the term `` flowability '', as the size of the centrifugal force can be influenced depending on the selected speed .
However, it has shown that polarization or condensation processes, in particular for the formation of synthetic resins, such as those used in electrical engineering for treating and embedding coils, are not disturbed by the centrifugal process. It is not necessary for the flowable material to be homogeneous.
Rather, heterogeneous material can also find Vei # @ re-iduil, @, bio- if not all components are in the lead before liquid Ajre; atzitstand zii]) smoke. Rather, parts located in solid. @ Gg @ regatzl-stand can also be part of such a mixture that is flowable in its entirety.
Insofar as a mixture of substances with at least approximately the same specific weight is used as the flowable material.
If the rotation process does not cause segregation, such a material does not differ from a material consisting of a single flowable chemical substance with regard to the behavior in the course of the present process:
,. However, if in special cases it is a question of filling the spaces to be filled up with material of different quality according to certain regularities, then this can still be done in a slut udder process under certain circumstances,
if, for the materials of different composition, suitable different specific rules can be provided. In such cases it can be e.g.
B. as a flowable material (parts of such substances with different specific weights are used and the arrangement is made in this way, as are the specific weights and the proportions of the substances in this way be graded,
that the material predetermined for a particular room has a specific gravity that is all the greater, every 2röf. ') it is the radial distance of this space from the Piotationsaelise.
In such cases, the centrifugal device then automatically creates a zero, des (-leniiselles into the individual -material components according to the grading of the specific weights, so that the material component with the greatest specific weight. accumulates in the spaces furthest from the axis of rotation,
whereas the material components with a low weight are stored in the spaces corresponding to the axis of rotation. Since the volume of the individual pyres to be filled is known, the required amount of material can be predetermined. -If it see z.
For example, it is a matter of depositing solid substances that are not in a flowable state during the intended duration of the process in the rotational axis closer than the rest of the material, then a mixture of flowable material can be used,
which, in addition to these solid substances, has a liquid material component of ..i # öf) ei # eni specific weight ;; - eis as that one of the solid substances. Does it act on the other hand z. B. about embedding electrical. see components, e.g.
B. to achieve an increased dielectric constant from Iiondensatorllelü _ @ # u on the outer layer, then after inserting the components in the casting mold in the before certain arrangement in the rotating casting mold, a flowable material for the formation of the embedding;
- be introduced which, in addition to liquid material components with a lower dielectric constant, still has a predetermined amount of solid substances with a correspondingly higher dielectric constant, the specific weight of which is greater than that of the liquid material component, so that the solid substances are deposited in the spaces furthest from the rotation -decorated.
: Spaces to be filled with material can be slotted against material ingress during the centrifugal process.
So nothing stands in the way of inserting different objects that are to be connected to one another by the material in the same casting mold and treating them at the same time in the same casting process, if these objects are separated from one another by appropriately arranged and designed spacers ,
Which, at least at the finite points in contact with the flowable material, have a surface condition that hinders the adhesion of the flowable material. It can also spacers, which from the outset do not meet the last terer requirement, by a surface treatment, e.g. B. by painting, at least at the points in question in the appropriate form converted to who to prevent any adhesion of the flowable Ma terials at these points.
However, by carrying out the process in stages, an optional build-up of the material in the spaces to be filled in the form of sediment-like substances of various types can be achieved by pouring a flowable material into the casting mold in at least one process stage, which after conversion into the solid state has a different quality than the material used in the other process stages.
In this way, it is also possible to replace such an intermediate layer in the finished object with a cavity rii by removing the material in question from this space again after performing the last process stage by a treatment that does not affect the other material filled in. For such a material to be subsequently removed again, a substance can be used. A lower melting point can be used so that it can be removed again by melting out.
Analogously, however, the re-removal can also take place by treating the relevant part of the material with a solvent that is specific for it and only dissolves this one material without attacking the other materials.
It is useful in many cases to keep the centrifugal chamber under positive pressure or in contrast to this under vacuum pressure or with an air-free, e.g. B. inert atmosphere to be provided. The process implementation can easily be adapted to such regulations, since the casting mold can be hermetically sealed from the outside and means can be arranged to suck air or gases out of the casting mold or to keep it under overpressure.
Working in a vacuum is. particularly important to ensure that the spaces are filled with the free-flowing material without bubbles, which is particularly important for improving the dielectric properties of the material.
Even when a polymerization is carried out inside the casting mold, working in a vacuum or in an inert atmosphere to prevent undesired oxidations or dipolymerizations is sometimes important.
Some exemplary embodiments of the method according to the invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawing, which illustrates various casting molds and objects made in these or in the process of being produced.
FIGS. 1 to 8 each show an exemplary embodiment in a vertical center longitudinal section.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a cylindrical tube 1 with a horizontal axis 4-A, which as. Rotation axis is used, provided. Details regarding the design of the drive and the 'material supply need not be entered here, since the same conditions are involved in this regard as in the known areas of application of the centrifugal casting process, e.g. B. for making tubes from a molten metal guided.
An electrical coil 2 is inserted into the tube 1, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the inner diameter of the tube 1, so that the entire circumference of the coil lies snugly against the tube wall. The coil is secured against displacement and rotation with respect to the tube 1. The tube is then rotated continuously around the axis of rotation while the coil is entrained. Then flowable material, which is intended for producing an embedding of the coil, is introduced into the tube, e.g. B. in the form of a liquid monomer or
a liquid prepolymer of the same based on synthetic resin. As a result of the rotation, the flowable material is deposited in the form of a body of revolution 3 which rests on the pipe jacket at the points not occupied by the coil and has an inner diameter -1 depending on the amount of material introduced. As a result of centrifugal force penetrates. the flowable material into all open spaces of the coil, and the coil is embedded in the material.
As soon as the envisaged final state is reached, the supply of flowable material is stopped. -With continuation of the rotation he now follows the transfer of the flowable material through polymerization into the solid state. The rotation can be stopped when the fed material has reached a dimensionally stable state. The polymerization itself can, for.
B. can be achieved by appropriate heating of the material including the casting mold, or the flowable material can already contain cata- lysts, or a gas atmosphere can be introduced into the casting mold, which favors the polymerization. When the rotation is finished, the. finished object, in the present case the embedded and filled coil, removed from the (left mold.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the same (ziessfornr 1 used with the rotation axis A-A, in which an electrical coil 2 is used again, which is secured against displacement and rotation relative to the casting mold.
In contrast to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, however, the coil should be embedded on its outside in a synthetic resin hollow cylinder, whereas the inside should remain free. In order to bring about the embedding on the side of the coil 5 facing away from the axis of rotation, the coil has a smaller diameter than the shape, so that a space to be filled with synthetic resin remains between it and the wall of the mold.
If flowable material is now introduced into the flow mold during the rotation of the same, then under the influence of the centrifugal force it forms a body of rotation 6, which is dimensioned according to the material introduced so that its free surface facing the axis of rotation is flush with the inside of the coil concludes. The flowable material penetrates again into all the spaces between the coil, so that the coil is both filled pore-free and embedded in the material.
After the material has been converted into the solid state during the rotation, the object formed can be removed from the mold in the form of the filled and embedded coil.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, a tubular casting mold 1 with a horizontal axis of rotation -l-_1 is used. In this again a wire coil 5 is inserted in the position explained in FIG. 2 relative to the casting mold wall relative to the latter, so that it can be seen. In addition, however, a wire winding 7 was also arranged within the same in a Ab was.
Both components 5 and 7 are to be embedded in such a way that the inner free boundary surface of the embedding body is flush with the inside of the wire winding 7. The Dralitwieklung 1 is ben against relative shifting and turning with respect to the mold ge secures. The required amount of fluid embedding material is then introduced during the rotation.
Under the influence of the centrifugal force, a body of revolution 8 forms which fills all open spaces, i.e. both the space between the Ilolirwandun g and the coil 5 and those between the latter and the wire winding 7 and all the spaces and pores within the two components 5 and 7. After the filled material has been converted into the solid state, the rotation is formed. and the object formed is taken from the Torin.
The latter can take place after complete hardening or after the material has retained its shape. Complete hardening can take place in a subsequent process, be it so that the centrifugal mold is not used for a long time, be it
in order to preserve the embedding material so that it can be bonded for another layer of resin.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, a tube 1 with a horizontal axis of rotation 1, 1 is again provided as the casting mold. Two wire wedges 9 and 10 are to be included, (in a way that there is a free space between the two wire wedges.
The 1) i-alitwielzlungen 9 and 10 are therefore inserted into the tube 1 at a corresponding distance from one another, concentrically opposite one another, and secured relative to this by rotating and shifting. It is now worked in three stages. III of the first stage, as explained in the embodiment according to FIG. 2, a rotary body # 6 is produced.
After overfilling into the solid state, however, a flowable material of a different nature is used without interrupting the rotation, which is poured into the mold in such an amount that the liolilzvlinder-shaped gap 11 is filled, the wall thickness of which corresponds to the filling,
(and the two wraps 9 and 10 correspond. This material is also poorly filled in the same state and has a texture in the solid state that is suitable for subsequent removal. For example, a material with low melting point such as a wax can be used.
After completion of the second process stage, liquid material intended for embedding the winding 10 is introduced without interruption of the Rotationsvor course in the third stage and, as described in principle with reference to FIG. 1, a rotary body 3 is produced. After transferring the same into the solid state, the rotation is now ended. and after removing the item from the mold. the material located in the hollow cylinder space 11, e.g. B. by melting out removed.
It then results in two wire windings embedded in the predetermined manner on top of each other dimensions.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, it is a matter of producing a condenser lead. A pipe 1 with a horizontal axis of rotation A-A is used again as a casting mold. The outer capacitor electrode 12, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the inside diameter of the tube 1, is initially inserted into this tube. The component 1.2 is again secured against relative displacement and rotation with respect to the tube 1.
Then, with the mold rotating, flowable siaterial is introduced to form the hollow cylindrical synthetic resin layer 13, which embeds the electrode 12. After bringing the filled material into the solid state, the first stage of the process is finished. It is now on the free orebilden surface of the hollow body 13, for. B. by brushing with graphite, a capacitor coating 1-I applied.
The mold is then set in rotation again and the rotary hollow body 15, which embeds the capacitor coating 111, is formed by introducing suitable flowable material. It is useful to drive the solidification of the previously formed hollow body 13 only as far before as is absolutely necessary to achieve the dimensional stability so that. the filled in the second process stage Tlohlkörper 1.5 with your first-mentioned connects seamlessly what z.
B. is the case when the hollow body 13, which consists of synthetic resin, is not yet largely polymerized. It is now after the solidification of the hollow body 15, the next capacitor layer 16 is applied to the free surface of the hollow body 15 and then formed in a further process stage of the rotary hollow body 17, etc. After completion of the last process stage, the rotation is stopped and the object formed was off taken out of the mold.
As can be seen, the complete embedding of the latter in a coherent synthetic resin body has been made possible by the explained subdivision of the process into several stages with intermittent successive Einbrin conditions of components in the form of the capacitor linings. In the embodiment of Fig. 6 is the production of a high voltage transformer. A casting mold is used which consists of a tube 18 with a horizontal axis of rotation A-A, which is equipped with two outwardly directed cup-shaped projections 19, the cavity of which merges directly into the tube cavity.
In order to achieve mass balancing, corresponding counter-approaches 19 'of the same shape are provided on the opposite side, which go over in the same way with their cavities in the tubular cavity, so that a symmetrical centrifugal body is formed.
The high-voltage winding 20 of the coil is now inserted into the casting mold and secured in the predetermined position against shifting and turning relative to the casting mold. The coil 20 is connected at both ends to power supply lines 21 and 22, which are led through the extensions 19 centrally and radially to the coil axis. The coil axis coincides with the axis of rotation A.-A. The power connection lines are passed through suitable holes in the approaches 19.
The mold is now rotated, and flowable material is fed in the predetermined quality and in an amount sufficient to embed both the coil 20 and connection lines 21 and 22 and the cavities of the lugs 19 and, if necessary, 19 ' to be filled out. The flowable material is then converted into the solid state. The rotation is then ended and the two parts are dismantled. Ausf, 'e formed mold exposed the object formed. If approaches 19 'have been used, these are subsequently cut away.
The embodiment according to FIG. 7 concerns the production of a high-voltage transformer with an open iron core. A similar mold 23 is used which has a vertical axis of rotation A-A. and at the bottom dureli a spherical-bowl-shaped bottom? 4 ge is closed.
In the casting mold 23, a high tension wedge 25 is inserted in the cylindrical wall, which is in full contact with the wall.
Before further components are cleanly inserted, the casting mold is now set in rotation with the high tension which is secured in relation to it against displacement and rotation.
Then from above flowable material with a predetermined quality and quantity is introduced;, e-. As a result of the centrifugal force, the material is driven outwards and as a result of the mold closed at the bottom, where a free boundary surface 26 forms due to the simultaneous influence of gravity, which in the cylindrical mold part has a radia len distance increasing continuously from the bottom to the top to a predetermined extent having from the axis of rotation.
The flowable material therefore assumes a shape with a wall thickness increasing downwards in the direction of the axis, in which the high stress area 25 is embedded, filling all the spaces and pores. On the bottom part 24 of the mold is. the wall thickness is greatest. The entire free boundary surface has a cup-shaped (paraboloidal) shape. The rotation is continued until the flowable material in the solid state, e.g. B. has been converted into a synthetic resin by polymerization.
The material now forms the insulating body 27, which has an increasing insulation resistance in the axial direction from top to bottom, as it is adapted to the voltage curve of the high voltage in the sense of creating a constant insulation strength. The object formed is now removed from the mold after rotation has stopped. The outer surface 28 of the insulating body located below the winding 25 is then coated with a conductive layer, as is the inner surface 6 of the insulating body.
An iron core 29, which carries a low-voltage winding 30, is now inserted into the insulating body, whereby in principle the transformer is completed. However, in the position shown in FIG. 7, this is upside down compared to the position of use.
The A.usführungsforin according to Fig. 8 is about the production of a support insulator. A casting mold 31, closed at the bottom and cup-shaped on the inside, with a vertical axis of rotation A-11 is used. In the Giessfoiin 31 a certain for screwing the busbar head fitting 32 is inserted centric to the axis of rotation sitting on the floor.
Flowable material is then poured into the mold in the quality and quantity required to form the insulation body and then a foot fitting 34 having the upper pivot 33 for the mold 31 is placed on the upper end of the mold, centered on the axis of rotation. The form 31 together with the fittings 32 and 34 is then set in rotation ver. Under the influence of the centrifugal force and the force of gravity decreases. the filled-in flowable material has the shape 35 in which the two fittings 32 and 34 are embedded. The rotation is continued until the flowable material has been converted to the solid state.
The material now forms the insulating body of the shape 35 which, after being removed from the mold and rotated 180 in the position of use, carries the foot armature 34 below and the head armature 32 above.
