Pre-selection switch, especially for lathes. The invention relates to a preselection switch, especially for lathes, which has a cap that can be rotated for the purpose of preselecting one of the contact pairs, which can be depressed in the axial direction against a spring force and a switching element carries the selected contact pair when the correspondingly twisted cap is depressed closes, and the invention is characterized in that the only switching element seated in the cap remains out of contact with the contacts when it is rotated,
which are formed by push-button scarf learning, and therefore do not cause any electrical circuit and when the cap is pressed down, it hits the selected push-button and depresses it, thereby closing the selected circuit without even carrying the electrical current.
When preselecting, the cap is brought into the relevant switch position. When the circuit is then to be performed, the cap is depressed.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
These show: FIG. 1 an axial section through the preselector switch and FIG. 2 a schematic representation of the lower part of this switch. A round base 10 carries in a circle arranged push button switches 1 to 8: Each of these switches is usually open, but it contains a push button 11 and is closed as long as the push button is depressed.
In the middle of the base 10 a Füh approximately sleeve 12 is arranged, in which a plunger 13 is guided vertically and is secured against losing ge. This is done in such a way that a head 14 provided at the lower end of the plunger 13 engages under a flange 15 of the sleeve 12. The head 14 is pushed by a coil spring 16 located in the sleeve upwards in contact with the flange 15 ge. The plunger 13 carries a handle 17 and a cap 18 attached to it; wel che the base 10 covered with the push buttons 1 to 8.
The cap 18 is rotatable and can be pressed down in the axial direction against the force of the spring 16. It carries a switching element inside in the form of a single one. Pin 19. When the cap is rotated, the pin 1.9 remains out of contact with the pushbuttons 11 of the switches 1 to 8, so that no electrical circuit is produced when the switches 1 to 8 are turned. To select one of the switches 1 to 8, turn the cap so that the pin 19 is above the push button 11 of the selected switch.
When the cap is then pressed down, the switching element formed by the pin 19 hits the push button 11 of the selected push button switch and depresses this push button. As a result, the selected circuit is closed without the switching element 19 itself carrying the electrical current.
So that it can be determined from the outside that the switching element 19 is located above the pushbutton switch to be selected, the cap is expediently provided with a scale which interacts with a fixed indicator mark. In addition, detents can be seen easily, which hold the cap resiliently fe-changing in the respective switch position.
