Device for controlling turbo machines. In turbo machines, especially steam turbines, the power is usually regulated in such a way that nozzles or nozzle groups of a partially activated control stage are switched on or off in sequence, depending on the power of the turbo group greater or smaller becomes.
The present invention now relates to a device for regulating turbo-niasehines, which is characterized by shut-off devices which open and close command openings of different flow cross-sections of a control stage of the turbo-machine individually and in combinations, the number the number of opening combinations is greater than the number of shut-off devices.
The accompanying drawing schematically shows an example of a control device according to the invention. An automatic control is assumed, in which the control pulses of a centrifugal governor effect the opening and closing of the shut-off devices. The control pulses can be known with th, z. B. mechanical or hydraulic means are transferred to the shut-off devices and if necessary also reinforced.
Fig. 1 of the drawing shows schematically a control unit in which both mechanical and hydraulic means are used for this transmission.
FIG. 2 shows, in an angled representation, the notch shapes of the notch disks belonging to the mechanical means, in FIG. 1 is at 11 the shaft of a turbo machine indicated, from which a centrifugal governor 12 and an oil pump 13 are driven.
The pressurized oil delivered by the oil pump reaches an oil pressure line via an orifice or adjusting tube 14 and acts on the piston 16 of a power transmission, the movements of which act on a camshaft > 17 act. The oil pressure acting on the piston 16 is regulated by an oil pressure control valve 18 connected to the line 15 and actuated by the regulator 12 Camshaft 17 sit a number of cam discs, here for example three discs 19, 20 and 21, which three shut-off organs, here z. B. three valves 22, 23 and 24 are assigned.
The shut-off devices control the inflow of the propellant to the inlet openings of the control stage of the turbo machine, for example to the nozzle groups 25, 26 and 27. B>
The flow cross-sections of the admission openings assigned to each closure element are graded in various ways, e.g. B. in such a way that, as shown in FIG. 1, the cross section of the nozzle group 26 is twice as large as that of the nozzle group 25, and the Cross section of the nozzle group 27 is in turn twice larger than that of '26. If it is assumed that the flow cross section of the nozzle group 25 of the unit lf equals
so that of nozzle group 26 is equal to the amount 2f and that of group 27 is equal to 4f. With the help of the closing organs, the loading openings can now be opened and closed individually and in various combinations, the number of opening combinations being greater than the number of locking organs.
Depending on the number of opened abscess organs, in the example of FIG. 1, the dural cut can be equal to lf, 2f, 3f, 4f, 5f, 6f or 7f. With just three shut-off organs, the turbo-machine can be regulated in such a way that there are seven load points distributed over its load range for which the propellant is not throttled.
If the turbo machine is automatically regulated as in Fig. 1, -Where the cam disks 19, 20 and 21 are components of those marked with A, < / B> B and C form the designated shut-off devices, the cams must be designed so that the monitoring openings are opened and closed in the desired order.
2 shows schematically A, B and C of the cam shapes of the three cam disks 19, 20 and 21, which are assigned to the shut-off devices denoted by the same capital letters in FIG. 1. The numbers 0, 1, 2 ... 7 designate different positions of the camshaft, where 0 means the position in which all shut-off devices are just closed, while 1 ... 7 designate the positions in which the various possible opening combinations are present when the shut-off devices are fully open.
For example, if the NToekenwelle is in position 1 , A is open, B and C are closed; if it is in position 2, A is closed, B is open, C is closed; in position 3 , A is open, B open and C closed . In this way, all of the shut-off devices can be opened and closed in various combinations until they are all open together in position 7.
A turbo machine provided with a control unit according to the invention can be loaded or relieved step by step if it is always operated with me at the load points set by the positions of the camshaft when the shut-off devices are fully open.
A stepless load control can be achieved in a known manner by either throttling the entire amount of propellant between the individual unthrottled load points with an additional throttle organ, or that an additional shut-off element under an additional actuation opening Throttling of a partial amount of propellant opens and closes.
The described regulating device can also be designed in a known manner in such a way that the respective shut-off device that opens last performs the throttling of the partial propellant flowing through it, which is necessary for stepless load regulation.
