Axial flow, driven by an exhaust gas turbine, cooling fan for air-cooled internal combustion engines. If, in an air-cooled internal combustion engine, the cooling fan is driven by the air supply, the result is a cooling characteristic that depends only on the speed.
der 31asehine (t. Since the heating of the machine depends on the speed and the load, the (-ledanke iahe, (read the fan to be driven by an exhaust aeti # iebeneti turbo iie, since the lieisturig- is close to one Turbine on the temperature and the amount of:
1.bgase and thus aueli from the load and the i) relizalil. of the engine. This arrangement can, if necessary, achieve a gain in efficiency for the overall system. The air cooling, # but requires a l, tiftinen _,) - e,
which is a multiple of the quantity of liquid processed in the internal combustion engine, which makes it difficult to disconnect the turbine and cooling fan and, with the traditional design, leads to complicated solutions.
It therefore appears advisable to provide a single impeller for the turbine and cooling fan. The object of the invention is. it, a simple structure zti seliaffen that this arrangement for a. Klihlrebläse justified.
The l: rfindun - consists. in that the support of the turbine runner shovel is designed as a self-trusting ring running coaxially around the fan runner shovel and with the latter a “device enabling the various thermal expansions is connected via entrainment.
The fan and turbine blades do not fry here. exactly on top of each other, but can be arranged slightly offset from one another in the axis direction.
The turbine rotor ring is advantageous with. the Gebläselaufsehaufeln by means of a U or Z cross section owning sleeve connected to one leg of the Turbi nenring is attached, while the other handle on the. Clebläselaufschaufeln lieut and is connected to this by radially arranged dowel pins.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing.
The rotor 1 of the cooling fan, which carries the Axialbesehaufelung 2, is in. Housing 3 mounted in roller bearings 4 and 5. In the Ge housing 3, the guide vanes 6 are arranged. 7 is the self-supporting ring forming the turbine runner, which runs coaxially around the fan blades, is equipped with the turbine blades 8 and is connected to the fan blades 2 via the U-shaped sleeve 9 and the radially arranged driver pins 10. 11.
is the turbine housing in which the turbine guide vanes 12 are arranged and which is connected to the fan housing 3. Layman U-shaped sleeve 9 protrudes with one leg on the left and with the other leg on the right beyond the turbine ring 7 and forms a cover plate between this ring 7 and the working channel of the fan 1, these protruding parts of the legs run in L: abvrint seals 13, 14, which are mounted in the turbine housing 11.
The U-shaped sleeve 9 allows free Wäuanetension and at the same time serves to reduce the heat transfer between the turbine and fan.
Instead of iJ-shaped, the sleeve 9 can also be of a different type, for example. Z-shaped. It is, either. it is necessary that the turbine blades resp.
the turbine rotor and the fan blades are exactly one above the other. They can also be arranged somewhat offset to one another in alignment.
