Fig. <B>6</B> bezieht sieh auf einen Einphasenmotor mit Hillsphase, Fig. <B>7</B> auf einen Asynehromnotor.
Drive for tape or wire-shaped recording media. When uni-spooling tapes from one supply leg to another, the requirement for embarrassingly constant running speed may arise. This is particularly important for tape or wire-shaped recording media, e.g. B. Sound recording media, a basic condition.
This requirement could easily be met in that the wrapping of the tape between the two NN'ickeln is carried out by a pair of rollers driven at a constant speed when the two cranks were frictionless and massless.
Since this is not the case, a drive must be provided for the take-up reel, which smoothly unwinds the belt conveyed at a constant speed, while braking on the supply reel must ensure smooth running. The usual brakes have a constant braking torque, so that the tape watch changes with the winding diameter.
The invention relates to the task of braking the bending reel as a function of its bending diameter, namely the more, the greater the bending diameter, the less, the more the B> the winding diameter becomes smaller, in order to achieve a constant pull at a constant speed of the recording medium in this way.
The marked dependency can initially be controlled from the actual radius of the lap, in that a feeler lever rests on the outer circumference of the lap and transfers its pivoting movement to the brake in an expedient manner when the lap diameter changes, e.g.
B. by changing the braking surface or the brake pressure. Similarly, the run-off angle of the recording medium from the supply reel to the first deflection or guide roller can be used, since it is directly proportional to the Wiekeld-Lirehmesser; the running recording medium itself represents the feeler lever to a certain extent.
Furthermore, the weight of the unwinding reel is dependent on the animal diameter, so that a weighing device can also be used to control the braking effect.
The number of revolutions of the supply reel is also indirectly a measure of the winding diameter; because at constant speed of vision, the decrease in the winding diameter inevitably results in a proportional increase in the number of revolutions. If the number of revolutions of the supply reel is selected as the control origin, a centrifugal force element could be made usable for the control in order to generate the marked changes in the braking effect.
With the known three-motor drives according to German patent specification No. 664759 (2 winding motors, <B> 1 </B> drive motor), there is a further possibility of using the changes in the speed to change the braking effect, namely only including electrical means without the use of additional mechanically moving parts.
In Fig. 1, the torque of a three-phase motor with short-circuit rotor is shown, namely beyond the number of revolutions n <B> = 0 </B> to the left, i.e. into the area of negative revolutions, because the Motor is moved on the axis of the supply reel during unwinding in a direction of rotation opposite to its working direction. The torque remains essentially constant.
If the motor were not excited by a rotating field, but by a alternating field, the torque shown in dashed lines would result, mirrored to both axes, because the alternating field cannot be referred to as a distinct working direction of rotation . If two motors are somehow coupled to a common drive shaft, and if the rotating field is generated in one and the alternating field is generated in the other, then the sum of the two torque curves would form, which is drawn in dotted as far as it lies in your area of interest .
It shows an approximately hyperbolic course; this corresponds to the braking torque that is necessary on the unwinding reel in order to maintain constant tension on the recording medium as the diameter becomes smaller. Instead of using two motors, the same effect can be achieved with one motor by not giving it a circular rotary field <B> '</B> but an elliptical rotary field, which is achieved by unequal AW, numbers for the individual _W, is achievable.
In FIGS. 2 to 7, exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown partially sehematically. Fig. 2 shows a feeler lever 4 which, via a Noekensheibe <B> 5 </B>, increases or decreases the brake pressure <B> depending </B> according to the cradle radius. The cradle <B> 1 </B> lies on plate 2.
The cradle radius is scanned by means of a small roller <B> 3 </B> by the feeler lever 4, which is connected to a Noeken disc <B> 5 </B>.
The latter reduces the pressure of the brake <B> 6 </B> on the plate 2 as the cradle half-nipper decreases. In Fig. 3 is the control of a feeler lever that controls either the cradle half according to FIG. 2 or the angle between the cradle 1 and the first deflection roller 7 </B> scans, not shown.
The feeler lever may act in any suitable way on the wedge <B> 8 </B>, via which the Brenisbaeke <B> 9 </B> is moved so that the contact surface between the Breinsbaeke <B> 9 </B> and brake disc <B> 10 </B> changes. The brake disk <B> 10 </B> is firmly connected to the axis of the cradle <B> 1 </B>.
FIG. 4 shows an example of the brake pressure change due to the change in the weight of the cradle. The cradle <B> 1 </B> rests on the plate 2 and is with the axis <B> 11 </B> at least connected so that the latter picks up the bobbin wind. It is supported on a ball 12, which is adjustably mounted on a spring <B> 13 </B>. A braking surface 14 is firmly connected to the plate 2 facing a fixed braking surface <B> 15 </B>.
If the bobbin winds are reduced, the pressure between the two braking surfaces 14 and 15 will be lower; The braking material in between (felt, leather or the like) is used to maintain the contact, i.e. for a continuation of the braking, which, however, due to the variable brake pressure, expresses a correspondingly variable torque. FIG. 5 shows a similar embodiment to that of the embodiment.
4 essentially differs in that the control of the brake pressure or the brake surface is brought about by a centrifugal governor <B> 16 </B> which, on the one hand, is fixed to the spool shaft <B> 11, </B> on the other hand is connected to a part 14 of the brake 14115.
In FIGS. 6 and 7, two switching data are shown for the motor, which is connected to the unrolling reel in order to drive the Rüeksp-Lilen. Regarding the Selialtseheniata it should be said that the AW numbers for the various weighing parts must be selected differently (e.g. by means of the resistance <B> 17) </B> in order to generate elliptical rotating fields as long as the motor is to act as a brake.
This inequality must be undone for rewinding the tape. FIG. 6 relates to a single-phase motor with hill phase, FIG. 7 to an asynchronous motor.
If necessary, several of the level measures can also be applied next to one another in order to perfect the effect of one device, which may not be fully satisfactory, through the effect of the other.
In general, the mentioned motor is designed as a four-pole motor in order to be able to achieve the high sound carrier speed required for fast rewind.
If such a motor is designed in accordance with the above statements and in particular has an elliptical rotating field, the advantages mentioned are not yet noticeable to the full extent. This is the example of a four-pole motor in devices with <B> 76.2 </B> em / sec. Belt speed explained in more detail.
In Fig. 8, the torque of a three-phase motor with squirrel-cage rotor is shown again, to the left beyond the number of revolutions n = 0, i.e. into the negative area Revolutions, because the motor on the axis of the unwinding reel is moved in a direction of rotation opposite to its working direction during unwinding. The same relationships already described in the description of FIG. 1 apply to this.
With a four-pole motor and <B> 50 </B> Hz mains voltage, the synchronous 1) frequency corresponds to the speed n = <B> 25 </B> rev./sec. At <B> 76.2 </B> em / sec. Tape speed, a reel core diameter of <B> 70 </B> mm and the diameter of a fully wound reel of about <B> 280 </B> mm, the speed varies between <B> 3.2 </B> and <B> 0.8 </B> turns. In FIG. 8, this area is identified by hatched ordinates and labeled with <B> A </B>.
It can be seen that there are only relatively small fluctuations in the torque. With an eight-pole motor of the same construction, the torque curve can be designed in the same way. However, the abscissa scale changes in the ratio <B> 1: </B> 2, i.e. the speed n = <B> 25 </B> rev./sec. with four-pole operation the speed corresponds to n = <B> 1.2,5 </B> rev / sec. with eight-pole operation.
The speed fluctuation range from <B> 0.8 </B> to <B> 3.2 </B> rev./sec. However, it has remained the same because the other constructive dimensions have not changed. As a result of the change in scale, however, an area B of the torque curve R that is twice as large is recorded in eight-pole operation. This area is indicated by solid ordinates.
From the above considerations, it is clear that eight-pole operation for recording and playback is more favorable than four-pole operation. On the other hand, the four-pole version is because of the fast return he wants.
According to a further development, the motor is therefore designed to be pole-changing. The four-pole winding is wound and switched normally. The eight-pole winding is designed and switched in such a way that the torque and thus the braking effect changes according to the winding diameter, which can be done, for example, by designing this winding in such a way that an elliptical rotating field is created.
