Device on an electrical device, for example on a fuse element, for fastening it to a mounting rail. Often in switchboards, distribution points and similar facilities of low voltage electrical equipment such. B. Si securing elements, mounted on a common rail for several Ge devices. Up to now, the fastening for this purpose has mainly been done in such a way that the devices were clamped to the mounting rail with a clamp and screws.
However, this type of attachment has proven to be impractical, especially when mounting in hard-to-reach places, because it is often hardly possible to keep the device to be mounted together with the clamp and at the same time tighten the screws.
It is the purpose of the present invention to provide a more convenient, simple fastening means that allows convenient mounting of such devices. It relates to a device on an electrical device, for example on a fuse element, for its attachment to a mounting rail, and is characterized by such a training that the device can be plugged onto the mounting rail in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the mounting rail.
A preferred embodiment of the subject of the invention consists, for example, of a plate fixedly mounted on the device, which comes to rest on a broad side of the mounting rail when the device is plugged in, and one or more hook-shaped flaps that surround the mounting rail on one narrow side and one behind the has the other narrow side snapping, when assembling and dismantling animals evasive spring member. Due to the interaction of the tabs and the spring member, the plate is clamped to the support rail there between.
A device designed in this way is explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing. The Fig.1a and 1b show the said plate in elevation and in side elevation, while in Fig. 2 the plate fixedly mounted on a fuse element of known design, attached to a mounting rail, is shown from the side.
The standing plate 1, for example made of sheet metal, has two hook-shaped tabs 2 punched out at the same height. Opposite the spring member 3 is riveted to the plate 1. This spring member is shaped in such a way that it can slide when assembling and De assemble under the effect of the force to be applied on the relevant narrow side of the mounting rail and gives way. Furthermore, two Ge threaded holes 4 are provided in the plate 1 in order to be able to attach the same to the securing element 5 by means of screws.
The securing element 5 screwed together with the plate 1 is hooked onto the one, preferably the upper narrow side of the mounting rail 6 by means of the hook-shaped tab 2 when it is attached. A pressure exerted on the securing element 5 in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the support rail is effected. now that the spring member first slides on the lower narrow side of the support rail 6 and then snaps behind dersel ben. The securing element is thereby firmly clamped on the support rail lying between the tabs and the spring member.
When selecting a suitable material (for example sheet steel), the device described can also be formed from one piece, that is to say both the tab or tabs and the spring member can be punched from the plate.
Compared to the known fastening means. the device shown the part before that a device provided with it can be mounted with a handle. It is also suitable for assembly with already existing fuse elements of conventional design. -
