Device for regulating the hot water temperature in central heating systems. \ In central heating systems, the hot water temperature in the boiler should be automatically adapted to the outside temperature if possible. To achieve the desired room temperature in the heated building, the hot water temperature must be selected the higher the lower the outside temperature. For this purpose, temperature sensors for the outside temperature have already been used to regulate the hot water temperature.
So far, however, it has been neglected that due to the considerable heat capacity and the insulating effect of the building walls, smaller and short-term fluctuations in the outside temperature remain without any effect on the room temperatures. So z. B. periodic fluctuations in the outside temperature see within the heated building of the also as constant temperature fluctuations, but the fluctuations in the room temperature compared to the fluctuations in the outside temperature are considerably delayed in phase and have much smaller amplitudes.
Changes in the outside temperature that appear once in a theoretically infinitely long time also have a rolling effect on the room temperature of the heated building. These heat storage and insulation properties of the building naturally depend very much on its design. So z. For example, in a modern concrete building with relatively large window areas, fluctuations in the outside temperature are much more rapid than in an old building with thick stone walls and small window areas, and it is difficult to quantify these properties clearly.
It seems that the time th in which a sudden temperature jump, the outside temperature with the value dT ", becomes noticeable in the room with the value AT012, represents a quantity that corresponds to the overall effect of the insulation and storage properties These half-lives can only be measured on unheated buildings, and there are still too few unambiguous measurements available to be able to provide reliable standard values.
The present invention is characterized in that, in a device for regulating the hot water temperature of central heating systems with a sensing element for the outside temperature and a sensing element for the hot water temperature, the sensing element for the outside temperature is embedded in an externally thermally insulated heat storage system, the whole thing ,
that changes in the outside temperature affect the temperature of the sensor in almost the same way as the room temperature of a selected room in the building to be heated, so that the time-temperature change diagram of these two parts is almost the same. Provisions are already known in which the sensing element is housed in an outer box, which of course also has a certain insulation capacity and a certain heat storage capacity.
So far, however, these values have not been increased by special measures so that they are comparable with the corresponding values of a building.
However, the invention seeks such a design of the heat accumulator, in which the temperature sensor for the outside temperature is housed, that the sensor element is influenced by the outside temperature in approximately the same way as when there is a similar, but in the corresponding room unheated building would be arranged.
This will then be the case if the half-life of the container for the outside temperature sensor is at least approximately that of the building room to be heated.
In order to be able to take into account the influences of the wind conditions, it can be advantageous to provide the heat accumulator with a permanently moist outer part, which is cooled more in strong winds and almost not at all when there is no wind.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing, it being assumed that it is an oil-firing system in which the fan oil pump motor is influenced by a maintenance device.
In the central heating boiler, the outer wall of which is designated with 1 and its hot water space with 2, a housing 3 is dusted, part 4 of which is surrounded by hot water and thus assumes its temperature .
In this housing <B> 3 </B> there are two elastically deformable temperature sensing vessels <B> 5 </B> and <B> 6, </B> one below the other through the line <B> 7 </B> and both are connected together by the Leitumy <B> 8 </B> with a temperature sensing vessel <B> 10 </B> arranged outside the outer wall <B> 9 </B>, the volume of which is constant.
The vessel <B> 10 </B> is embedded in a heat accumulator <B> 11 </B>, which can consist of an iron block, for example, while the heat accumulator <B> 11 </B> passes through the insulating layer 12 towards the outside is insulated in such a way that changes in the outside temperature change the temperature of the sensing element <B> 10 </B> almost as (absolute) as the temperature of a selected room in an unheated building of the same type as the heated building.
The vessels <B> 5, 6 </B> and <B> 10 </B> are completely filled with a liquid aLis. The total volume that this amount of liquid takes up depends on the temperature conditions in the housing 4 and the vessel 10.
The volume of the vessel <B> 6 </B> can be set to a predetermined fixed value by turning the adjusting screw <B> 13 </B>, which can be determined through tests.
Changes in the total volume of the liquid enclosed in the three vessels <B> 5, 6 </B> and <B> 10 </B> act as deliberate movements of the control rod 14 which are carried out by the vessel <B> 5 </B> is moved.
An electrical holding device is built into the housing <B> 3 '</B> screwed onto the housing <B> 3 </B>. The leaf spring <B> 16 </B> which is firmly riveted to the housing <B> 3 </B> at <B> 15 </B> has a movable contact <B> 17 </B> of the züi at its free end - Together with the fixed contact <B> 18 </B> forms the stop point of a control circuit.
In a manner known per se, on both sides of the leaf spring <B> 16 </B> lateral spring strips <B> 19 </B> are arranged, which at the free end of the contact spring <B> 16 </B> that is, at Contact <B> 17 </B> are firmly connected to this, while see their ends 20 are supported under tension on noses 21 of the support member '12. This support element is displaceable in its longitudinal direction in the housing <B> 3 '</B>, but cannot be rotated about its axis. By turning the screw nut <B> 23 </B>, the setting of the member 22 and thus the tension of the lateral spring strips <B> 19 </B> can be set to a desired value.
The rod 14 influenced by the vessel 5 now acts on the leaf spring 16 via the helical spring 24 and the pressure pin 25, with the exerted force acting linearly the displacement of the rod 14 increases. Depending on the tension of the spring strips <B> 19, </B> that is <B> depending </B> on the position of the screw nut <B> 23, </B> this force must reach a predetermined value, until the contact <B> 17 </B> skips from the drawn closed position to the abutment <B> 26 </B>.
A drop in the deflection force acting on the leaf spring to a predetermined lower value then causes the contact 17 to spring back into the closed position shown. T 'The difference between the two force values can be adjusted by adjusting the Screw nut <B> 23 </B> can be optionally set.
The mode of operation of the device shown is as follows.
It is assumed that the outside temperature z. B. <B> -100 </B> and that a boiler temperature of 7011 is sufficient to achieve the desired room temperature. The fan and pump motor <B> 27 </B> of an oil firing system are driven via the power circuit network line 28-contact 18-contact 17-line 29-motor 27-network.
The volume of the liquid enclosed in the vessels <B> 5 </B> and <B> 6 </B> increases as the temperature of the hot water in space 2 increases, so that the rod 14 is moved upwards. At a hot water temperature of z. B. <B> 720 C </B> the contact point <B> 17-18 </B> is opened, so that no further heating of the boiler takes place.
When the hot water temperature has fallen to <B> 680 C </B>, with the rod 14 being adjusted back accordingly, the contact point <B> 17-18 </B> closes again etc., so that an average boiler temperature of <B > 700 C </B> he is aimed.
If the adjusting screw <B> 13 </B> is now screwed in, so that the bellows (vessel) <B> 6 </B> is reduced, the one that has been pushed out of the vessel <B> 6 </B> Soft liquid into the vessel <B> 5 </B> so that the rod 14 is raised accordingly. The contact point <B> 17-18 </B> is only closed again, for example, when the hot water temperature has dropped to <B> 630 C </B>, and opens again at <B> 670 </B> C, so that the mean boiler temperature is <B> 650 C </B>.
If the outside temperature drops, e.g. B. to -1211 <B> C, </B> and this change lasts long enough, the volume of the measuring liquid enclosed in the vessel <B> 10 </B> decreases. Liquid flows in from the vessel <B> 5 </B> and the rod 14 sinks. Now z. For example, the contact point <B> 17-18 </B> only opens at <B> 760 C </B> and it closes at a value of <B> 720 C, </B> so that a middle one is created Hot water temperature of 740 results. If the screw nut <B> 23 </B> is tightened a little, the tension of the spring parts <B> 19 </B> increases so that the difference between the switch-on value and the switch-off value, the hot water temperature, is increased.
It is important for the entire device that the rod 14 acts on the switching device without interposing further temperature-sensitive elements, because a temperature-sensitive intermediate element, for example in the form of a further liquid container, would act as a disruptive temperature measuring point. The Schaltein direction itself can of course also be designed in other ways.
A change in the resulting medium temperature, i.e. a parallel shift in the control curve, can optionally be achieved by the following measures with the appropriate design: a) Turning the adjusting screw <B> 13; </B> <B> b) </ B > Height adjustment of the entire contact; <B> c) </B> tensioning or releasing the spring, 24. The outwardly thermally insulated heat accumulator can also consist of a vacuum bottle (vacuum space instead of the insulating layer 12), which is filled with a filler material, e.g. B. paraffin is filled as a storage material.
The control unit, i.e. the switching characteristics controlled with a delay as a function of the outside temperature, can be used to influence and control the fan motor, the air supply or the return admixture temperature. Under certain circumstances it can be advantageous if the container for the outside temperature sensor <B> 10 </B> has an outside part that is kept permanently moist, since the cooling influence of the wind conditions can then be taken into account.
Since there are no electrically controlled organs such. B. the fan motor, but only a mechanically adjustable air control flap is available, can of course also be provided that the adjustment movements of the rod li are carried over a known translation mechanism to the air control valve.
It is also not necessary to arrange the hot water temperature sensing elements within the outline of the boiler, but it is also possible to design these hot water temperature sensing elements as contact elements which can be attached to the hot water pipe.
Suitable fillers for the vacuum bottle are paraffin, pure or mixed with other materials, such as B. copper or steel filings or quartz sand. Glycerine also lets you in or z. B. use mixed with the materials mentioned with advantage.
