Gas turbine for high temperature working fluid. The invention relates to a gas turbine for working fluid of high temperature with a rotor mounted on both sides, in which the shaft parts directly abutting the blade carrier are made of austenitic steel. With such turbines, especially when they are dimensioned for high performance, difficulties can arise in the design of the bearing points. : This is particularly the case with gas turbines which operate with high axial passage speeds and at the same time with high inlet pressure of the working medium.
In such cases, the useful power output by the turbine shaft can assume considerable values compared to the dimensions of the machine. On the one hand, the rotors must be made of highly heat-resistant material, especially austenitic steels, when using high-temperature equipment; however, these have the disadvantageous property that their yield strength at lower temperatures, such as those occurring, for example, in the bearing sections, is significantly lower than with the higher-quality ones used in mechanical engineering. Steels.
Under these circumstances, the necessity arises to dimension the shaft part that transmits the useful power of the turbine disproportionately thick, because otherwise it would not be sufficient for the torsional stresses occurring during operation. This results in very unfavorable conditions for the bearings assigned to this shaft part, because the bearing has to be attached at a point with a large shaft diameter, where the circumferential speed takes on inadmissibly high values with the usual tours.
The present invention allows this to be avoided. Trouble. It is characterized in that a first shaft part of larger diameter, which transfers the useful power and adjoins the rotor blade carrier, is connected to a second shaft part of smaller diameter made of ferritic steel at a point less exposed to heating by the working medium, and that the bearing is relocated to this shaft part.
Advantageously, the two shaft parts transmitting the net power can be screwed together by means of a flange connection, where the shaft part made of ferritic steel has a hollow one; The transition piece, which is flexible in the radial direction and has an outer diameter increasing towards the flange, connects to the flange. It is advisable to arrange the flange connection inside the bearing housing for the shaft transmitting the useful power. Furthermore, the connection point of the first and the second shaft part can advantageously be arranged at a point which does not have an operating temperature above 200 ° C.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing. The figure shows a schematic representation of a gas turbine, the housing 1 of which is divided in the usual way in a horizontal meridian plane. is.
The in a heating device not shown He brought to high temperatures gaseous working medium is passed into the adjoining the nozzle 2 ring-shaped inlet chamber 3 and flows through the blade ducts of the turbine in the axial direction, with delivery of useful power to the blade carrier provided with 4 blades 5 relaxes. The guide vanes 6 are fastened to the housing 1 be. The relaxed work equipment flows. then via a diffuser-shaped anal into the outlet chamber 7, from which it is discharged through the outlet nozzle 8.
The parts of the turbine rotor that are exposed to particularly high mechanical and thermal loads are. made of highly heat-resistant, austenitic steel, such as the blade carrier 5, the shaft parts 9 and 10 that abut it, as well as the blade lengths. Labyrinth seals 11 and 12 directly adjoining the blade carrier prevent working media from escaping through the gap roughness. between the shaft parts 9 and 10 and the housing.
The shaft part 10 ends in a journal 14 which is held by the radial bearing 15 supported on the turbine housing. The shaft part 9 serves to transmit the useful power transmitted to the rotor to a working machine, not shown.
Corresponding to the unfavorable strength properties of the highly heat-resistant austenitic steel at lower temperatures, such as those that occur in the shaft piece led out of the turbine housing, this shaft part has a relatively large diameter d in order to absorb the high torsional stresses that occur.
This shaft part 9, made of highly heat-resistant austenitic steel, which transmits the -INTiitzkraft - is connected to a further number part 16 made of ferritic steel. For diesel purposes, the two shaft parts 9 and 16 are firmly screwed together by means of the flange connection 17.
The shaft part made of ferritic steel is designed as a torsion shaft which finitely has a hollow transition piece: 18_ to the. Flange connecting 17 connects. As a result of the more favorable strength properties in the comparative austenitic material of the cell part 9, the shaft part 16 can have a greatly reduced diameter.
The bearing point for the shaft transmitting the useful power is. on the shaft part 16 made of ferritic steel ver. Thanks to the reduced diameter d, the circumferential speed - of the shaft in the bearing 19 is only a fraction of that which would occur on the shaft part 9 if the bearing were arranged. In all cases, this peripheral speed is below your permissible level and ensures that the turbine runs significantly better.
The possibilities of the blade design, the design and the dimensioning of the turbines can thus be fully exploited if, as before, consideration must be given to excessive initial speeds of the bearing on the shaft part transmitting the useful power. The bearing 19 is designed as a combined axial-radial bearing and held in your bearing housing 20 independent of the turbine housing 1, which in turn is supported on the base plate 21.
It is expedient to ensure that no impermissible thermal stresses occur at the junction of the two shaft parts 9 and 16. For this purpose, on the one hand, a cooling blocking agent is introduced through the channel 13 into a throttle point of the labyrinth seal adjacent to your blade carrier 5, which ensures that
that no impermissibly high temperatures occur at the connecting flanges 17. In addition, the end 18 of the torsion shaft 16 adjoining the connection flange is designed to be hollow in such a way that it has a certain flexibility in the radial direction, which means that any thermal stresses can also be reduced to a permissible level. The flange connection is also arranged in the interior of the bearing housing 20 and thus protected against heat radiation emanating from the turbine housing.
The temperature of the flange connection 17 can be, for example,?
The journal 14 held in bearing 1.5 on the outlet side of the turbine is. not stressed by torsional stresses and can therefore, despite the unfavorable strength properties of the austenitic material used for it. Steel are kept thin, so that the peripheral speed of the shaft in the bearing 15 does not take on any disadvantageous high 1Verte. To cool the bearing section, a cooling of the locking means can also be introduced into the labyrinth seal 12 through a channel 13a.
