Storey throwing device with storey &. The present invention relates to a projectile throwing device with a projectile.
This device is characterized by a holding element with an opening forming a seat for the deformable projectile, by a support element for said element, a manually operated bat for striking the projectile, said opening having a smaller diameter, than the projectile, so that the latter, when it is inserted, partially protrudes from the support element and is held by this by friction in such a way that the detachment of the projectile by the hit on the bat is opposed to a resilient resistance.
Some embodiments of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings.

Fig.16 is a side view of the device shown in Fig.15.
17 and 18 are rear and side views, respectively, of another embodiment in which the spinner is in the form of an arc.
Figure 19 is a partial perspective view of another embodiment suitable for use with annular bullets.
The device is particularly suitable for use with a relatively light, deformable projectile 2, which is preferably spherical. The projectiles can be hollow or full and made of celluloid, rubber or some other suitable material. For example, the projectiles can be roughly the same size and weight as the known table tennis balls, so that the latter can easily be used in the device.
If desired, the Gesehoss can also have the shape of a ring 3, which then. is flung with its narrow side in order to reduce the air resistance.
The centrifugal device according to FIG. 3 contains a holding element 4 for the projectile, which is formed, for example, from sheet metal 1 to 2 mm thick.
In the holding element 4 an opening 6 is provided which has a support 7 through which the projectile is held by friction until it, as will be described below, hit by a racket 8 and thrown in the desired direction fortge.
When the device is set up for the use of spherical projectiles, the projectile seat is circular and has a slightly smaller diameter than the projectile. The edge of the seat can be V-shaped in cross-section, as in FIG. 4, beveled as in FIG. 5.
The edge of the seat can also, as shown in Fig. 6, run parallel to the axis ver. This embodiment simplifies manufacture, since the opening only has to be drilled out, and provides greater surface contact with the projectile if the same is spherical.
Instead of the projectile seat 7 with a circular shape, the edge can also be arcuate in order to reduce the friction with respect to the projectile. Thus, for example, as FIG. 7 shows, the seat can have projections 9 which lie opposite one another and form the edge, which projections 9 form one piece with the plate and extend radially into the opening. These projections can also be arranged in a triangular shape or in any suitable shape.
In all cases, however, the actual diameter of the projectile seat is such that, if. the leg is inserted in this, the center of gravity of which is preferably close to the front surface of the holding element; is so that a substantial part of the Ge shot emerges through the opening on the back and can come into contact with the racket.
The holding element can be circular, square or otherwise shaped. In the examples according to FIGS. 3, 7, 8 and 9 e-s is handle 11 attached to a support element forming a hand. The handle can form one piece with the holding element and the parts can be made by stamping. But you can also provide a separate handle that is connected to the holding element in a suitable manner.
If desired, the holding element can be provided with a visor slot 12 or a visor hole.
The above-mentioned bat 8 running transversely to the axis of the bullet seat is advantageously carried by the handle or the holding element, but a separate bat, for example in the form of a wooden hammer (not shown), can also be provided.
According to a suitable embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the hand grip is equipped with a bat in the form of a ribbon spring, which is removed from the central part of the holding opening and extends transversely to this. This spring is bent back at its upper end and forms a finger grip 13, so that it can be easily bent and then released. can so that it strikes the part of the projectile which emerges from the retaining opening to the rear. As shown at 14, this spring is attached to the handle.
According to another embodiment, which is shown in FIG. 10, the striker is a spring-actuated bolt 8a which is slidably fastened at its rear end in a guide 15 and is in line with the axis of the projectile seat and on its rear side. D'er bolt 8a has a transverse pin 16 so that it can be operated by direct pull; but you could also operate it with a trigger.
The holding element 4 and the bolt guide 15 are supported by a common one: the support element. forming plate 20 carried.
According to another embodiment, the device has the shape of a toy gun, as shown in Fig.11 and 12 is shown. The holding element 4, which is in the form of a plate with an opening, is located on the pistol barrel P of a bat 86 consisting of a leaf spring, which runs transversely to the axis of the projectile seat and is attached at its lower end to the handle of the pistol and when the trigger is actuated 17 is bent.
According to a further embodiment, which is shown in FIGS. 13 and 14, the device resembles a child slingshot to a certain extent, in that the holding element 4 has a downward-facing handle 11 and two sideways-facing arms 18, the outer ends of which have eyelets for one or have a plurality of elastic bands 19, the latter extending at the rear of the holding opening over its center. During handling, the elastic bands are pulled back and then released. In order to facilitate the tensioning of the straps 19 and the sighting of the target, an elastic drawstring 21 is provided in the middle of the straps 19.
When you let go of the tensioned strap 19, they strike against the back of the projectile and throw it out of its seat. The use of such a pull strap is recommended, as it makes the tensioning of the elastic strap or straps easier and allows the device to be used in the same way as in archery aiming at the goal.
According to a further embodiment, means are provided for rapidly firing several projectiles, if this is desired. For this purpose the device has a handle 11 which carries a rotatable holding element 4 representing a magazine. As can be seen from FIGS. 15 and 16 of the drawing, this is disk-shaped and has two disks 34 which are attached to the handle 11 on a central pivot 24.
The disks 34 have a number of openings 6 for receiving .the projectiles, which are distan from one another in the circumferential direction, further in the circumferential direction vonein other spaced visor slots or holes 26, and there are also finger recesses 27 between them, which the latter are used to To continue turning discs and thus successively align each floor support with a common bat 8 on the handle. The side of the handle serves as a stop for the user's finger when the user turns the disc.
Means are provided to prevent the discs from rotating freely while the projectile is thrown away. For this purpose, the friction disks pairs 31 with the associated retaining disks 32, which are arranged on the pivot pin on both sides of the disks 34 so that they touch the opposite disk sides, as can be seen from Fig. 16 of the drawing. But you could also use a spring-actuated gear and ratchet lock.
In order to avoid unwanted expulsion of the projectiles still in the magazine during the firing of a projectile, the projectile seats are made of shock-absorbing material. So z. B. in this case, the pads 7a be formed in a layer of sponge rubber or some other suitable material. That is clamped between the two discs 34 in any suitable manner.
In these disks there are the same number of holes 36 spaced from one another in the circumferential direction, which have the axis in common with the seats, but have a slightly larger diameter than this, so that the edge edges of the shock-absorbing seats remain free.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, which is shown in FIGS. 17 and 18, the support element 39 has the shape of a bar which is provided in the central part with a hole into which a holding element 4 is set. Furthermore, a pipe socket 37 is seen before to guide the projectile without undesirable friction after it is thrown out of the seat. The pipe socket can, for example, have an overall length that is twice its diameter. The bar has a visor opening 38 above the holding element.
The part of the bar located below the holding element expediently has the shape of a handle 39.
As can be seen from Figure 18, at both ends of the bar 39 curved lugs 41 are arranged, on which a transverse band 42 is fastened that carries a racket 8a approximately in its center so that it matches the projectile seat. This racket can be provided with one or more handles 43 on its back so that it can be pulled backwards. If desired, the transverse band can have elastic and unelastic sections. If the strip forming the support element is elastic, the elastic band can be replaced by a bow string.
Fig. 19 shows another embodiment of the subject invention, which is suitable for the use of an annular Ge shot 3. The holding element 4 is connected to a handle 11 imd with a racket 8 in the form of a leaf spring, similar to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 and 9. In this case, however, the opening for the projectile has an elongated, rectangular shape, the opposite narrow sides serving as a seat for the projectile.
They are able to hold the ring-shaped projectile by friction and to counteract its release elastically.
In use, the deformable projectile is held back firmly on its support 7 until it is hit by the bat 8. Unwanted tilting or removal of the projectile is avoided regardless of the angle at which the body is held.
It follows from the above that this device can also function with or without a barrel.
The devices described are relatively cheap to manufacture and create a toy or sporting article that is accurate enough to be attractive to players of all ages. An important advantage is that the device is particularly suitable for use in the room and that the projectiles are so light that the user cannot be injured, while the risk of damage to furnishings, lamps and the like is switched off or is at least reduced to a minimum.
