Dauermagnet.
Bei einer weiteren Ausführungsform wurde eine Eisenlegierung mit 81/o Alumi- nium, 131/o Nickel, 25% Kobalt, 3% Kupfer, 1,5% Niobium und 1% Titanium auf gleiche Weise behandelt wie oben angegeben, ohne dass Stengelkristalle erzeugt wurden;

Permanent magnet. The present invention relates to a permanent magnet made of a magnetically anisotropic iron alloy, and to a method for producing such a permanent magnet with particularly high values of the coercive force and at the same time high values of the remanence and the (BIi) ″, dr value .
hin process for the manufacture of a permanent magnet, which is made of vain magnetic anisotropic alloy based on iron with. 6 to 11% aluminum, 12 to 201 / o nickel and 16 to 301 / o cobalt, to which copper or titanium (or both) can be added, is known.
According to this process, the alloy is subjected to the action of a magnetic field during the cooling from a high temperature (for example 1200 C) for the purpose of magnetic hardening (this action is preferably between the Curie temperature and about 150 ° C Tempera ture range exercised below half this temperature), whereupon an aging treatment to maintain the most favorable magnetic properties is performed.
According to the present invention, the permanent magnet consists of a magnetically anisotropic iron alloy containing 6 to 1111 / o aluminum, 10 to 20P / o nickel, 16 to 30% cobalt and 0,
Contains 5 to 10% (preferably 0.5 to 8%) niobium. This alloy can contain up to 5% titanium and up to 7% copper and the usual accompanying elements
contain. In addition, the alloy can contain smaller amounts of T1 (for example less than a total of 1% and not more than 0.5% each) of, for example, tungsten, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium,
Contains zirconium, calcium, cerium, tantalum and silicon.
To maintain an anisotropic permanently magnetic material, the alloy can be subjected to the action of a magnetic field with cooling in a temperature range from above the Curie temperature (preferably above 1200 C) to at least 1000 C below this tempera ture Example up to <B> 6000 </B> C, expediently with a cooling speed that can be between 0.5 and <B> 150 </B> C per second, whereupon a single aging treatment at <B> 6000 C or about 60011 C can be done.
The alloy treated in this way is magnetically anisotropic and, after the subsequent magnetization in a direction parallel to the direction of the magnetic field used during cooling, becomes a permanent magnet with a high value of the coercive force (H,) and at the same time high values of the remanence (B,) and des (BII) I, ", - value obtained.
The solidification of the alloy can take place in a form from which heat is withdrawn in practically only one direction, this direction being parallel to the direction of the desired magnetic axis. Before the present invention came about, high coercive forces in iron-nickel @ Aluminum-cobalt alloyeii (ye usually obtained by adding titanium, but this interferes with the growth of columnar crystals that occurs in one direction.
In the case of the alloys according to the present invention, however, a high coercive force (for example at least 750 Örsted) and a very high (BH) mz "value (for example between 6X106 and 7X106 Gauss Örsted) can be obtained without the Stalk crystal growth is disturbed.
In a particular embodiment, an iron alloy with 8% aluminum, 13% nickel, 25% cobalt, 3% copper and 2.5% niobium resulted in
after cooling from <B> 12500 </B> C to 60011 C at an average speed of 1 per second in a magnetic field of 3000 Örsted and subsequent aging treatment for 32 hours at 580 C, a residual emanence (B. =) of 12,200 Gauss, a (BH) mah value of 5,
20 X 106 Gauss-Örsted and a coercive force (H,) of 730 Örsted. If this alloy is cast in such a way that the sample piece consists of columnar crystals, the predominant orientation of which is with the [1001 direction parallel to the magnetic axis, a (BII) ", a1 value between 6.0 X 10s 7.0 X 10s Gauss-Örsted,
and a coercive force (H,) greater than 750 Örsted can be obtained.
In a further embodiment, an iron alloy with 81 / o aluminum, 131 / o nickel, 25% cobalt, 3% copper, 1.5% niobium and 1% titanium was treated in the same way as stated above without generating columnar crystals ;
The result was a remanence (B,) of 10.600 Gauss, a (Bg) mac jNTert of 4.05 × 106 Gauss-Örsted and a coercive force (H,) of 795 Örsted.
Other typical examples of compositions and properties of permanent magnets according to the invention are given in the table below. In each case, the alloy was poured into a sand mold, from 130 011 C to 6000 C at a medium speed. of 1.1 C per second in a magnetic field of 3000 Örsted and then aged by renewed heating to 58510 C for 64 hours.
