Description
<B> Signal lamp. </B> Signal lamps used in electrical systems can be used for a wide variety of purposes, for example in nurse call systems for hotels, ships, hospitals, etc. to call operating and nursing staff, and in alarm systems for display a change in the status of the system to be monitored that endangers operation, in command systems for the transmission of commands, etc.
The subject matter of the invention is a signal lamp for electrical systems in which the translucent cover hood is designed to be movable in such a way that it indicates the switching state of the signal lamp through its respective position.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject of the invention. It shows Fig.1 a front view of the signal lamp, for example in a square shape, Fig. 2 and 3 a side view of the signal lamp in two different switch positions, Fig. 4 is a schematic representation of an exemplary embodiment and application of the signal lamp.
This embodiment of the signal lamp is explained below: At a transmitter station (call station or the like) there is a push button D. This push button is electrically connected to the electromagnet 1t1 of the signal lamp, which is located at the receiving point If the pushbutton D is pressed briefly, a current flows through the winding of the electromagnet 11. The armature is held in a rotatable manner by an axis c.
If the armature end labeled A1 is attracted by the electric magnet 1J1, the armature end labeled A2, which is designed as a holding device for the translucent cover H of the signal lamp, releases this cover. The cover H he moves by the action of a spring fine change in position by the hood H assumes the position shown in FIG.
A contact device provided inside the signal lamp, which is shown, for example, as a function of the position of the cover H, but also as a function of the armature of the electromagnet, depending on the design of the signal lamp and the intended use Switching on an incandescent lamp L arranged behind the translucent cover H. In addition to the respective position of the cover H, the lighting or non-lighting of the incandescent lamp Z is an indicator of the respective switching state of the signal lamp.
It is essential, however, that the change in position of the movable cover H means that the signaling can be clearly recognized even when the incandescent lamp has burned out. The contact device can be equipped with a plurality of contacts, so that further circuits can be formed, for example for switching on a bell or horn as an audible warning signal. In the embodiment shown in Fig. -1, the contact 1I is provided for this purpose.
