Description

L'élément eomprend un. anneau d'em boîtement en caoutchouc < 1 pourvu d'un flasque terminal annulaire a conformé de ma nière à recevoir par encastrement un anneau rigide d'étanchéité b en graphite, résine syn thétique ou autre substance appropriée qui présente une face extérieure plane propre à. coopérer avec. une face semblable correspon dante (en général rotative) dans une pompe.

Inside the annular part c is fitted an annular metallic reinforcement frame comprising a cylindrical part f and end flanges g, h, which correspond respectively to the parts d, e of the rubber part A. This rubber part tightly encloses the metal frame to which it can. be fixed by everything. adequate means. In the example described, the flange h is castrated in the part: hollow e -and the stepped flange g is applied against the rear face of the re-entrant part d and still extends to. ]. 'inside it.
The element of the sealing device is provided internally with a spring i, one end of which bears against the flange g and the other against the rear face of the terminal flange. CC.
