Method for regulating a gas turbine plant and device for carrying out this method. The invention relates to a process for controlling a gas turbine system with at least two mutually independent conditions, compressors connected one behind the other in the flow path of the working medium, and to a device for performing the process. In such systems, the speeds of the two compressor groups must be controlled individually, which is achieved by appropriate control interventions, z. B. on the drive machines NEN this compressor has to happen. With.
Consideration of the compressor characteristics, which cannot always be calculated in advance, and also with regard to random external influences, such as outside air temperature, etc., attempts have already been made not to use the speeds of the compressors themselves as control pulses, but rather those generated by them Delivery pressures that are directly related to the speeds. It therefore makes sense to design the control system in such a way that the power selector lever directly determines the setpoint values of the final pressures after the two compressors through its position.
This known embodiment has the following disadvantages. In gas turbine systems which are provided with relatively large heat exchange apparatus for the purpose of achieving good thermal efficiency, the system connected between the high-pressure compressor and the turbine or turbines downstream has a large volume. An increase in the speed of the high-pressure compressor group therefore only causes the pressure in this system to rise slowly, since considerable volumes of space have to be filled with compressed air.
The consequence of this is that the high-pressure group reacts to load changes significantly more slowly than the low-pressure group, since. only relatively small pressure chambers need to be filled behind the low pressure group. This different reaction when changing from a small to a larger capacity is associated with operational difficulties.
The unfavorable case could even arise that with a relatively rapid decrease in the working medium pressure downstream of the low-pressure group, the pressure after the high-pressure group only decreases slowly. The pressure ratio of the high pressure group can for a short time assume such a value that its surge limit is exceeded and, under certain circumstances, the working medium even flows back through the high pressure group.
The present invention aims to eliminate this disadvantage. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the delivery pressure of one compressor is regulated by means of a device responding to this delivery pressure and the delivery pressure of the other compressor is regulated by means of a device responding to the delivery pressure ratio of the compressor.
The device according to the invention for carrying out the method has two Füh ler for the delivery pressure of one compressor and one control device for setting the delivery pressure of the compressor, which are influenced by the sensors so that the control device of one compressor on the delivery pressure of this compressor and the other control device is responsive to the ratio of the delivery pressures.
With the help of a further control device, the device responding to the ratio of the two delivery pressures can be influenced in such a way that the ratio of the delivery pressures changes temporarily depending on the size of the adjustment of the device responding to the delivery pressure of one compressor. In a gas turbine system in which the compressors are each driven by a turbine, each delivery pressure can be controlled by the associated control device z.
B. be adjusted by means of a flow control organ in the bypass line of a turbine.
Two embodiments of the device Einrich for performing the method are shown in the drawing in Figures 1, 2 and 3 Darge provides; In two further FIGS. 4 and 5, the operation of the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is illustrated by means of two diagrams. The following is also the process of the invention, for example, he explains.
The compressor 1 (Fig. 1) compresses the working medium that has flowed to it from the line 2. This then passes with intermediate cooling in the cooler 3 into the high-pressure compressor 4, where it is compressed to the final pressure. Part of this working fluid flows through line 5 into a heat exchanger 6 and the other part through line 7 into a heat exchanger B.
Part of the working medium preheated in the heat exchanger 6 flows through the line 9 into the space surrounding the pipe system 10 of the gas heater 11 and the other part through the line 12 in the combustion chamber 13 of the gas heater 11. The flowed from the line 9 and heated in the pipe system 10 Partial amount of the working medium flows through the line 14 into the turbine 15 and, after the expansion has taken place, passes through the line 16 into the pipe system 17 of the heat exchanger 6.
Here part of the heat still ent held in the relaxed working medium is given off to the working medium coming through the line 5 from the compressor 4. The relaxed working medium then flows through line 1.8 into a cooler 19 in order to flow back through line 2 to compressor 1 in the cooled state and start the cycle again.
The part of the work means removed through the line 7 of your described enclosed circuit passes through the space surrounding the pipe system 31 of the heat exchanger 8 and the line 20 into the combustion chamber 13 of the gas heater 11. In this combustion chamber, the circuit through the Lei device 12 is also removed and passed through the rule organ 21 adjustable subset of the work means. A part of the working medium fed to the combustion chamber through lines 12 and 20 is used to burn the fuel atomized through nozzle 22.
The hot mixture of working medium and combustion gases then flows through the pipe system 10 of the gas heater 11 and gives off part of its heat to the circulating working medium supplied through the line 9 to the pipe system 10. It then flows through line 23 into the charging turbine 24 and after it has been expanded to an intermediate pressure through line 25 into the intermediate gas heater 26.
The re-heated mixture is passed through line 27 into the power turbine 28, in which it is expanded to atmospheric pressure while releasing NTutz power to the propeller shaft 29. The exhaust gases pass through the line 30 into the pipe system 31 of the heat exchanger 8, where a remaining part of heat is withdrawn from them to preheat the part of the working medium removed from the circuit through the line 7, then through the line 32 to the system to leave.
As a substitute for the working fluid removed from the circuit through line 7, air is sucked in from the atmosphere by the compressor 33 and is supplied to the circuit in a compressed state through line 34.
To adjust the amount of working fluid flowing through the power turbine 28, it is equipped with a bypass line 35 which bypasses the first stages and which has a flow control element 36. The servomotor 37 of this regulating element is actuated by means of the impulse line 38 through the regulating device II (FIG. 2), which is accommodated in the regulating box 39.
To adjust the amount of working medium flowing through the circulation turbine 15, it is also equipped with a bypass line 40 bypassing the first stages, which has a flow control element 41, the servomotor 42 of which can be operated with the impulse line 43 by the control device I, which also is housed in the control box 39.
The control device 11 is influenced on the one hand by the delivery pressure of the HOChdruck -kreisverdlehteTS 4 in the outlet line 5 transmitted via the line 44, and on the other hand by the delivery pressure in the outlet line 34 of the charging compressor 33, which is transmitted via the line 45. With the help of the lever 46, the target value for the useful power influenced by this control device can be set manually.
An increase in the flow cross-section in the bypass line 35 of the power turbine 28 by means of the flow control element 36 set by the control device II causes the pressure of the working medium in the flow path behind the charging turbine 24 to drop. The pressure gradient gives it greater power and brings the charge compressor 33 to a higher speed so that the pressure in the entire system rises.
Conversely, a reduction in the flow cross-section in the bypass line 35 of the useful power turbine 28 causes a reduced power output by the charging turbine 24, so that the speed of the charging compressor 33 falls and the pressure in the entire system falls. The control device I is influenced by the delivery pressure of the high-pressure circuit compressor 4 in the outlet line 5, which is transmitted by means of the line 44.
When the flow cross-section in the bypass line 40 of the circulating turbine 15 is increased by means of the flow control element 41 set by the control device I, the swallowing capacity of this turbine increases. As a result, the circulation compressor group has an increased amount of working fluid at its disposal, so that a greater power output results.
This increases the speed of the compressor turbine, which also increases the pressure in the circuit. Conversely, a reduction in the cross-section of the flow cross-section in the bypass line 40 results in a reduced power output of the circulation turbine 15. The speed of the compressor group falls, and the pressure in the circuit falls.
The control box 39 and the control devices I and II placed in it with the connected control elements 36 and 41 of Fig.l is shown schematically in Fig.2 Darge provides.
The control device I is influenced by the pressure sensor box 47 connected to the pressure line 44, the control device II on the one hand by the pressure sensor box 48 connected to the line 45 and on the other hand by the pressure sensor box 49 also connected to the line 44. These pressure cans are connected at their lower end to the control slide 50, 51 and 52 respectively. Depending on the force exerted by the spring action of the pressure sockets on the control slide, a pressure of the pressure medium (e.g.
B. pressure oil), which is directly proportional to the delivery pressure in the outlet line of the compressor 3. In the same way, a pressure arises under the control slide 51, which is directly proportional to the delivery pressure in the discharge line from the charge compressor 33. The pressure under the slide 50 now acts directly via the line 53 on the underside of the piston 54, while the pressures under the slides 51 and 52 are passed through the lines 55 and 56 under the pistons 57 and 58, respectively will.
The influence of the position of the pivot point of the lever 60 by the control device III described later, which is also housed in the control box 39 and is controlled by means of the piston 54 by actuating the power selector lever 46, should be ignored for the time being.
The pistons 57 and 58 of the Regelvorrich device II are mechanically connected to the ends of the lever 60 mounted in the pivot point 59 and are held in their central position under the influence of the spring 61. The piston 54 of the regulating device I in turn is held in its central position under the influence of the return springs 62 and 63. For the position of the piston 54, the prevailing pressure in the pressure sensor box 47 is decisive, while the positions of the pistons 57 and 58 depend on the ratio of the two pressures in the pressure sensor boxes 48 and 49 according to the lever law.
By moving the power selector lever 46 of the control box 39 between the marginal positions minus and plus, the rod 64 with the cams 65 and 66 is adjusted from idle power to the highest overload.
The cam tracks 65 and 66 define the positions of the two roller tappets 67 and 68 pressed against them. At their lower end, these carry the springs 69 and 70, which in turn are connected to the control slides 71 and 72, respectively.
The position of the cams 65 and 66 corresponding to who the springs 69 and 70 more or less compressed and piston 71 bw by the control. 72 in the line 73 or the cylinder 74 the spring tension corresponding pressures of the pressure medium supplied to the control spools through line 75 or discharged through line 76 (z. B. pressure oil) is set.
The pressure in the line 73 below the control slide 71 is directed to the top of the piston 54 of the control device I. On the other hand, the piston 54 is connected to the servomechanism pointing to the slide 7 7 and the servomotor piston 78, which servomechanism is equipped with a flexible return to avoid over-regulation and the associated pendulum movements. The piston 78 moves during the control process via the towing cylinder 80, which is rigidly connected to it, and the piston 79, which initially acts as a rigid whole with the cylinder 80, also the lever 81, which at one end is connected to the piston 54 by the rod 82 connected is.
Under the influence of the spring 83, the slide 77, which is also connected to the lever 81, is returned to its middle position, in which neither the below nor the above the piston 78 cylinder space pressure medium can flow from the line 84. The tension of the spring 83 moves the piston 79 relative to the cylinder 80, displacing the liq fluid in the cylinder chamber on one side of the piston 79 via the throttle member 84 in the opposite cylinder chamber. Such a control device with flexible feedback can only come to rest in its neutral position. This case occurs when the pressure of the pressure medium has the same value above and below the piston 54.
However, the pressure across piston 54 is dictated by the position of the with. the power selector lever 46 connected cam 65.
The control device I influences the control slide 86 connected to the servomotor piston 78 via the spring 85 until the pressure of the pressure medium supplied to the slide through the line 87 or discharged through the line 88 in the im Pulse line 43 has set the flow regulating member 41 by means of the servomotor piston 42 so that the pressure under the piston 54 and thus the pressure of the working medium in the outlet line of the cycle compressor 4 is returned exactly to the original setpoint.
In a corresponding manner, the Re gel device II, which is influenced by the movement of the lever 60 and which has the slide 89 and the servomotor piston 90 and, in turn, is equipped with a resilient return, operates in a corresponding manner. For a better understanding of the operation of this part of the control device, its influence by the control device III via the Kol ben 54 by actuating the lever 46 should be disregarded. be left so that the pivot point 59 of the lever 60 can be firmly assumed.
The piston 90 moves during the control process on the rigidly ver related tow cylinder 92 and the first moment with the cylinder 92 acting like a rigid whole piston 91 and the lever 93, which is at its left end by the rod 94 with the right end of the lever 60 is connected. Under the influence of the spring 95, the slide 89, which is also connected to the lever 93, is returned to its central position, so that the supply of pressure medium from the line 96 to the top and to the bottom of the piston 90 is interrupted. The tension of the spring 95 moves the piston 91 relative to the cylinder 92 while displacing the liquid speed in the cylinder chamber on one side of the piston 91 via the throttle element 97 in the opposite cylinder chamber.
This device also apparently only comes to rest when the slide 89 is in its neutral position and the spring 95 is relaxed. This case only occurs when the lever 60 also assumes its central position and the spring 61 is relaxed. Since this is a possible Equilibrium, the forces on the pistons 57 and 58 must be in a very specific ratio to each other, that is, it must be quite. certain ratio of the pressure of the circulating working medium in the outlet line 5 of the compressor 4 and the pressure of the replacement air in the outlet line 34 from the compressor 33 must be observed.
If nothing else were provided, the Re gel device would affect the control slide 99 connected to the servomotor piston 90 via the spring 98 until the pressure corresponding to the spring tension of the spring 98 with the control slide through the lines 87 or 88 to or The pressure medium discharged in the impulse line 38 adjusts the flow regulating element 36 by means of the servo motor piston 37 so that this pressure ratio is regulated to a constant value. This possible type of control is a special case of the control device described, as the following section shows.
A piston tappet 100 is fastened to the piston 57 and is mounted displaceably in the cylinder 74 below the control slide 72. The cylinder space lying above this piston tappet is filled with pressure medium, the pressure of which is clearly defined by the position of the roller tappet connected to the control slide 72 via the spring 70. The piston 57, which is acted upon on its underside by the pressure of the pressure medium set by means of the control slide 51 through the pressure sensor box 48, can thus be influenced by means of the piston tappet 100 by an additional force which is determined by the position of the power selector lever 46.
The cam 66 is designed in such a way that when the power selection lever 46 is moved in the sense of an increase in power, this additional force decreases, and conversely, in the case of a movement in the sense of a reduction in power, it increases.
Finally, the inflow of the control device TI by the control device III, which has been ignored in the previous description, will be explained.
The position of the fulcrum 59 of the lever 60 is determined by the servomotor of the control device III consisting of the piston 101, slide 102, lever 103 and spring 104: In the steady state, the spring 104 is relaxed and the lever 103 is in its central position.
This is connected at its left end formed as a link 105 by a rod 106 to the right end of the lever 81 and at the same time to the rod 82 with the piston 54. A movement of the piston 54 connected to the lever 81 by the rod 82 to the extent that the stone fastened to the rod 10f> hits one or the other end of the link also causes a displacement of the lever 103, which is caused by the rod 110 is also transferred to the slide 102.
This controls the flow of pressure medium from the line 84 into the cylinder space above or below the servomotor piston 101, whereby the piston is lowered or raised. The displacement conditions of the piston 101 are transferred via the rod 107 attached to it to the angle lever 108 mounted in a fixed point, with the pivot point 59 of the lever 60 within the circular slot 109, which is fastened as a pin on the angle lever, can shift:
This pivot point shift of the lever 60 in the event of a strong change in load can, as a result of shifting the power selection lever 46 or pressure fluctuations in the pressure sensor dose 47, influence the pressure ratio necessary for the equilibrium position of the lever 60 in the sense that with a strong load increase the target pressure ratio of the pressure in the outlet line 5 of the Kreisverdich age 3 to the pressure of the replacement lift behind the compressor 33 is temporarily reduced.
Conversely, a strong relief of the gas turbine system causes a temporary increase in this pressure ratio.
In the second exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the air sucked in from the atmosphere by the compressor 111 (Fig. 3) passes through the line 112 with intermediate cooling in the cooler 113 into the compressor 114. The air which has been compressed to the maximum pressure then flows through the line 115 into the space surrounding the pipe system 116 of the heat exchanger 117.
The air preheated in the heat exchanger passes through the line 118 into the combustion chamber of the gas heater 119, where a part is used to burn the fuel fed to the gas heater through the line 120 and atomized through the nozzle 121. After leaving the gas heater 119, the hot mixture of air and combustion gases flows in part through line 122 into the power turbine 123, where it releases power to the power receiver 124 coupled to the turbine 123 with expansion to an intermediate pressure.
On the other hand, a partial amount is passed through the line 125 into the turbine 126, which drives the compressor 114 coupled to it. After expansion has taken place, the subsets relaxed in the two turbines combine and flow together through the line 127 into a further turbine 128 which drives the compressor 111 coupled to it. After relaxation to atmospheric pressure, the working medium is passed through the pipe system 116 of the heat exchanger 11.7, where the remaining part of its heat is used to preheat the working medium fed to the gas heater 119 through the line 118.
It then flows out of the system through the nozzle 129.
To adjust the amount of working medium flowing through the turbine 126, it is equipped with a flow control element 130, which regulates the amount of working medium flowing out of the turbine and which is controlled by the control device I, which controls the position of the flow control via the impulse line 136 by means of the servo motor 137. organs 130 can influence. To set the amount of working fluid for the turbine 128, it is equipped with a bypass line 132 which goes around the first stages and which has a flow control element 133.
The servomotor 134 of this control element is operated by means of the pulse line 135 through the control device II.
The control device II is controlled on the one hand by the pressure of the working medium in the outlet line 122 of the gas heater 119 transmitted via the line 138 and on the other hand by the pressure of the working medium in the outlet line 112 of the supercharger 111, which is transferred via the line 139. With the help of the power selector lever 46 the setpoint for the useful power to be maintained by the control device can be set manually.
A reduction in the flow cross-section in the outlet line 131 of the compressor drive turbine 126 by means of the flow regulating element 130 causes a reduction in the heat gradient processed in the turbine. As a result, the drive, power of the turbine 126 drops, so that the speed of the compressor 114 drops and the maximum pressure of the system is reduced. An enlargement of the flow cross section by means of the flow regulating element 130 causes, conversely, an increase in the maximum pressure.
The control device I is influenced by the pressure of the gas heater 119 of the working medium in the outlet line 122, which is transmitted by means of the line 138.
An increase in the flow cross section in the bypass line 132 of the compressor drive turbine 128 increases the capacity of this turbine to be absorbed. A reduced pressure is built up in front of this turbine and thus also influences the size of the heat gradient to be processed.
The control devices I and II correspond in their structure and their mode of operation exactly to the rule illustrated in FIG. 2, devices I and II. The one control device for setting the delivery pressure of one compressor - in the present case the high pressure compressor - is in turn controlled by the Delivery pressure of this compressor and the second control device for setting the delivery pressure of the other compressor - in the present case the low pressure compressor -,
is influenced by the ratio of the delivery pressures of the two compressors. What was said with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 also applies to the system illustrated in the present figure; their detailed description should therefore be dispensed with (the same organs of the control devices I and II shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 have the same reference symbols). Only in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, for example, the control device III has been omitted; however, their design is in no way limited to the gas turbine system shown in FIGS.
The operation of the control devices I, II and III described is shown in FIGS. Fig. 4 shows, as a function of the power, the course of the delivery pressure p, in the outlet line of the charge compressor 33 and the course of the delivery pressure p2 of the cycle compressor for stationary operating conditions.
The control device sets the setpoint value of the pressure p., belonging to each load and at the same time influences the pressure ratio p2 in such a way that it increases with the increasing load .
Fig. 5 shows the time course of the pressures p1 and p2 during the transition from small to large power. As can be seen from the diagram, the pressure of the substitute air p1 initially rises above the final value and is only regulated to the latter value after p2 has already reached the target value.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment examples illustrated in FIGS. In particular, the control devices for performing the method described can have other, mechanically, hydraulically, pneumatically or electrically operated organs.
Ass, according to what has been said, it is easily possible for a specialist to drive this Regelver and apply the device to its execution on a gas turbine system with a cycle of the working medium.
