Device for holding a rotatable part on a fixed part. The present invention is a device for holding a rotatable part ble to a fixed part with means of two with respect to each other adjustable clamping members. The novelty is that the clamping organ assigned to the rotatable part is loosely mounted on the same and is connected by at least one llitnehmer with a manually operated ring rotatably mounted on the rotatable part, the whole thing in such a way that by turning the Ring in one direction of rotation the clamping element located next to it is pressed against the stationary clamping element,
while when rotating the ring in the other direction of rotation, the clamping member of the rotatable ble part of the clamping member of the fixed part is lifted, so that the rotatable part is freely movable.
In the accompanying drawing is. an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section and Fig.2 shows a cross section along the line II-11 of Fig.1.
In the fixed part 1, a sleeve 2 is mounted in a non-rotating manner and carries a conical Klenimfläehe 3 at its ends protruding above the part 1. In the can? is. on ball bearings 4, 5 an axis 6 rotatably ge superimposed, which belongs to the rotatable part 7. A, for example, pot-shaped ring 8, which has a clamping surface 9 facing the clamping surface 3, is loosely rotatably mounted on the axis 6. Next to the ring 8 there is a threaded ring 10, which sits on a Ge threaded section 11 of the axis 6. The ring 10 is firmly connected with a handle 12.
The two rings 8 and 1.0 are connected to each other via at least one driver 13.
The operation of the device is as follows: By turning the handle 12 in one direction of rotation, the ring 10 is pressed against the ring 8, whereby the latter is adjusted against the conical surface 3 of the sleeve 2. When the handle 12 is turned sufficiently, the two surfaces 3 and 9 are pressed against one another so strongly that the part 7 is rigidly connected to the part 1. Turns. on the other hand, if the handle 12 is in the other direction, the ring 10 moves away from the sleeve 2 and takes the ring 8 with it via a driver 13. In order to. parts 7 and 1 are uncoupled from each other and the former can be rotated as desired.
The present lowing device allows in the simplest manner the retention of the part 7 in any desired position, in a simple manner with low forces.
