Electroacoustic transducer with a cone diaphragm. The invention relates to an electroactistisellen converter with a cone in membrane, z. B. loudspeaker, microphone.
According to the invention, the cone and the edge surrounding it, used for holding, are made from a single piece of textile fabric, the cone being treated in such a way that the wires of the fabric adhere to one another to achieve a stiff structure, while the cone directly adjoining part of the edge used for holding is not treated, so that the wires of this part can slide against each other at each intersection. The wires are preferably made of glass, but can also be made of other substances, such. B. plastics, who produced the drawn or sprayed wires with a smooth surface. The mutual connection of the wires takes place z. B.
by using an adhesive that is applied by brushing or dipping the part to be treated.
An embodiment of the converter according to the invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawing, which shows a loudspeaker in a central section.
The loudspeaker contains a rigid frame 1 to which the magnetic circuit is attached by means of bolts 7 and a clamping member 8 . The magnetic circuit contains a ring 2 which surrounds a pole shoe 3 . In the annular gap between the ring 2 and the pole school 3 , the magnetic field in which the speaking coil 10 moves is effective. The pole shoe 3 is arranged on a permanent magnet 4 and centered by means of a centering ring 6 with respect to a pot 5 .
The coil 10 is wound onto a coil former 9 , by means of which the coil is attached to the loudspeaker cone 11 , which has a two-cylinder neck 12 which encloses the end of the bobbin 9 . The cone 11, the cone neck 12 and the. The cone around the closing part 13, 14 are all made from a single piece of glass fiber fabric. The material is given the desired shape on a molding tool.
After the shaping, the cone 11 itself, its neck 12 and edge part 14 are stiffened by being immersed in a suitable adhesive, whereby the. crossing wires durea the adhesive bonded together. The adhesive can be of the type customary in the manufacture of Konas loudspeakers from fabric, such as e.g. B.
Cellulose acetate. Between the outer edge of the actual cone 11 and the inner edge of the edge part 14, the glass fiber fabric is not treated - and has the shape of a part of an annular body surface (gate-plane surface) in the opening direction of the contour is convex. The cone 1.1 adjoins the inner edge 21 of the torus surface tangentially, and the edge part 14 adjoins the outer edge 22 tangentially.
The edge part 14 is fastened on its free edge by being arranged in an annular part 15 filled with a fastening means, which is attached next to the outer edge of the frame 1 is. The attachment means can be of the same type as the adhesive used to steepen the glass fabric.
The non-treated part 13 is approximately annular in the rest position. When the cone 11 is adjusted under the influence of the currents in the speaking coil 10 in the magnetic field, the shape of the part 13; changes because the Ge - braid-forming wires can slide freely past one another, there is no elastic deformation of the adjoining edge part 14, so that energy is transferred to the surroundings essentially through friction, provided the adjoining part allows any conical movement.
The limits set in this way can lie slightly outside the maximum cone amplitude that is required to paint the acoustic playback area for which the Lalitspeaker is rather designed.
In the case of cone loudspeakers, the cone is normally provided with a centering part attached to the tip. In order to fully utilize the properties of the described cone, it is desirable to design the centering element accordingly. In the exemplary embodiment, the centering part is made from a single piece of glass textile fabric, which is treated with a substance to achieve a rigid central part 16 with a rigid neck 17 of the bobbin 9 encloses.
The rigid central part 16 is an essentially flat disc and can have the shape of a spoked wheel, as in the usual centering part constructions. The rigid central part 16 is surrounded by a curved, untreated part 18 , which serves the same purpose as the annular body-shaped part 13. Dem The untreated part 18 is followed by an edge part 19, which is also treated with a steepening agent, and in an annular channel 20 near the inner edge of the frame 1 is attached.
During the manufacture of the loudspeaker, the cone and centering element are first formed separately and the separate parts are treated. The previously formed cone and the previously formed centering part are then combined with one another and with the speaking coil to form a whole, which is arranged in the frame, with both the outer edges of the cone and the centering part in the frame channels be cemented.
A loudspeaker designed in this way has the advantage of an essentially complete suppression of membrane resonances and a very clear reproduction. The absence of such resonances is known to be extremely important for sound reproduction.
The cone of the cone assembly described follows the supplied vibrations more precisely than with known cone loudspeakers with free mounting.
It should be noted that neither the cone nor the centering part provides a sufficient centering force in the axial direction as in the known transducers. In spite of this, it is found during operation that the central zone of the voice coil tries to remain in the central zone (with regard to the axial direction) of the magnetic field in the gap.
This can be attributed to the fact that the field in the gap is not uniform, but rather is largest in the central zone.
