Description
z. Billigere Herstellung um etwa 15 % . 3. Das Schlitzen des Stiftes fällt fort.
Process for the production of connector pins for electrical devices. The present invention relates to a method for the production of connector pins for electrical devices, which is characterized in that a piece is punched out of sheet metal and the connector pin is formed therefrom. The plug pin according to the invention be made of sheet metal and has a longitudinal slot.
In the accompanying drawing, for example, an embodiment of a plug pin hergestell th according to the inventive method is shown; It shows: Fig. 1 is a front view, Fig. 2 is a side view, Fig. 3 is a plan view, Fig. 4 shows a punched out of a sheet metal part, which is then formed into a plug pin.
A shaped piece according to FIG. 4 is punched from sheet metal. The part a is then shaped cylindrically to form the male part, the end piece d being spherical. Bending part a creates a longitudinal slot a '. The tabs b are bent at right angles and part c is bent backwards at the top and the end piece is rolled inwards. The lower part c ', which is bent at an angle, serves to anchor the pin in an insulating body.
The advantages of such a connector pin compared to the existing full version are the following 1. Weight and material savings 33% , which is favorable for export.
z. Cheaper production by about 15%. 3. There is no slitting of the pen.
