Process for manufacturing a moisture- and vacuum-tight electrical device. The present invention relates to a method for producing a moisture- and vacuum-tight electrical device and an electrical device produced according to this method. Device, especially a capacitor.
With certain electrical devices, in particular with electrical capacitors, it is important that they are hermetically sealed from the surrounding space in order to prevent:
that moisture penetrates into this, which for reasons known per se worsens the electrical properties of such devices.
It is known to seal electrical devices such. B. to accommodate a metal housing, the open side with a squire or a. Lid is closed by which. the supply ladder 1h.
The cap can be made of an insulating material plate. exist, on which the connection terminals are attached and which is etched into the housing after it has been filled with potting compound.
On the other hand, this cover or the bushing can consist of a kenamigchen body which is metallized along its edge coming into contact with the housing and at the bushing points so that it can be soldered to the housing on the one hand and the bushing conductors on the other.
The cap can also be made of metal, in which case it is also soldered to the housing. In this case, wires or feed-through tubes, which are melted into a glass bead, are expediently used as the feedthrough.
In this glass bead is a flat ring so that its edge protrudes over the glass bead so that it can be soldered to the cap; can.
The parts fused into the glass must be made of a special metal, which basically has the same expansion coefficient as the glass, in order to guarantee a perfect and tight seal with the glass.
Furthermore, the housing can consist of insulating material, with z. B. only the spout must serve as a conclusion after solidification.
In all cases where the connection is not made by soldering, in the previous designs the pouring compound serves as a seal against the ingress of moisture.
It has now been shown that @ the previously used Ve boussimaasisen do not provide a permanent perfect seal against the penetration of moisture, be it, -that the mass as such is moisture-permeable over time, be it,
that as a result of d-ef ects in the encapsulation such. B. by

<tb>
Where <SEP> the <SEP> closing <SEP> is done by soldering, <SEP> results in <SEP> other <SEP> disadvantages. <SEP> The <SEP> usage

Purpose <SEP> of the <SEP> present <SEP> invention <SEP> is
<tb> well, <SEP> the <SEP> above <SEP> parts <SEP> to <SEP> avoid <SEP> and <SEP> the <SEP> specification <SEP> of <SEP> moisture- <SEP> and <SEP> vacuum-tight <SEP> electrical <SEP> devices <SEP> in <SEP> simple <SEP> and <SEP> economical <SEP> type

<tb>
The <SEP> is <SEP> in the <SEP> <SEP> - <SEP> method according to the invention: <SEP> thereby <SEP> is achieved, <SEP> that <SEP> on <SEP> the <SEP> moisture -and <SEP> vacuum-tight <SEP> to <SEP> closing

In the <SEP> analogue <SEP> way <SEP> allows <SEP> sieve. <SEP> also <SEP> a <SEP>] capacitor <SEP> time <SEP> close metal housing <SEP>, <SEP> with

<tb> The <SEP> insulating plate <SEP> is <SEP> in <SEP> of the <SEP> above, <SEP>; <SEP> way <SEP> connected to <SEP> the <SEP> housing <SEP>,

<tb>
If you select <SEP> you <SEP> and <SEP> the <SEP> housing <SEP> as well as <SEP>
<tb> the <SEP> cover <SEP> made of <SEP> insulating material, <SEP> so <SEP> can <SEP> the
<tb> Connection <SEP> between <SEP> ceiling <SEP> and <SEP> housing
<tb> one side <SEP> and <SEP>: the <SEP> connection <SEP> between
<tb> Cover <SEP> and <SEP> the <SEP> through <SEP> .this. <SEP> leading <SEP> to lead ladders <SEP> other soap <SEP> on <SEP> the <SEP> named.
<tb> Type <SEP> using <SEP>: the <SEP> polymerizable <SEP> substance
<tb> produced <SEP> are:
<SEP> - <SEP> '- If -the housing and the cover are made of metal, they can be soldered to one another and- the feed wire or the lead-through wires can be connected to the cover in the above-mentioned manner using the polymerizable substance ..
Since the substance has a significant mechanical strength after polymerizing, the capacitor can have a housing open on one side, which is closed only ver with the substance mentioned without a cover.
If the housing is made of metal, the S bManz also acts as an insulator between the housing and the supply wires.
Minn recognizes that the method according to the invention means that the choice of materials suitable for the housing and the cover is less restricted than with the known methods.
The invention enables the case of relatively expensive components, such as metallized insulators and glass bead bushings, the production of electrical devices with less effort than before, with at least the same quality in terms of impermeability to moisture is achieved.
It can therefore be seen that this process is particularly suitable for the series production of moisture-sensitive electrical devices, such as capacitors, devices with hygroscopic devices. Coil bobbins, resistors, crystals, etc., are suitable where the constancy of the electrical properties is important.
