Device for establishing wireless communications. The invention relates to a device for producing wireless Nachric @ tenver- connections, whose on the shielding housing, for. B.
The antenna attached to the transport housing has a length less than a quarter of the operating wavelength and can be adjusted to the operating wavelength by an electrical extension by means of a regular self-inductance.
The arrangement according to the invention achieves the advantage of a greater range of the device, and this advantage is achieved by the fact that the switching means forming the controllable self-inductance of the antenna does not need electrical shielding outside the shielding housing. is arranged in the course of the antenna conductor.
Accordingly, there are space capacities between the switching means which represent the controllable self-inductance. and avoid the zero potential of the shield housing.
In addition, it is achieved that the antenna circle of the device is only detuned to a relatively small extent by changes in the area surrounding the base part of the antenna, e.g. by vehicles or people moving past, since the antenna conductor located below the inductive switching means is not sensitive to changes in the environment of the device.
It is particularly expedient to attach the internal selector as far as possible: from the shielding housing, so that, on the one hand, capacitive shunts are avoided as far as possible and, on the other hand, the smaller part of the antenna conductor can be capacitively influenced, or in other words ,
Due to the different current distribution, a large part of the antenna is to be regarded as belonging to the bulbous area. A particularly simple embodiment of the device according to the invention is achieved by means of a rigid antenna conductor which is firmly connected to the shield housing and which carries switching means forming the controllable self-inductance.
An arrangement of the last-mentioned type brings advantages above all for trot bare, especially backpack radios with it. These devices are usually operated with: a relatively very small antenna.
The person carrying or operating the device and the inevitable change in the immediate vicinity can easily cause detuning of these devices: the antenna circuit, so that the proposed measure makes a significant contribution to improving these device types.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention. The Tornis'terfunkgerät 1 carries on the Absehirmg ehäusedeckel an insulated socket 7 into which the antenna, hab 2 can be plugged in. At the same time:
the necessary connection to the antenna circuit 6 äes device made by the plug contact. In the insulating tube 5 is -, the variable. Self inductance 3 arranged:
the. With the help of the hand knob 4, the electical size can be changed .. With advantage, the switching means can consist of an air coil into which a high-frequency iron core can be moved.
If so far @ the antenna variometer was attached within the shielding device housing and through the unavoidable space capacities between it. Switching means and:
the zero potential of the device housing, the impedance and voltage conditions of the antenna circuit were adversely affected,
in this way these deficiencies can no longer occur with the flat arrangement. Furthermore, by attaching the antenna variometer in the course of the antenna conductor. x above the; manten:
Switching means located antenna conductors are sensitive to changes in the environment of the device, the lower one is no longer
Between this part and the immediate vicinity of the device, very different capacitive conditions develop, in particular as a result of the operators of the device, vehicle and similar objects.
which inevitably lead to a change in the antenna capacitance of a dielectric quality other than air.
