Kontaktgelenk-Verbindung an Hochfrequenzleitungen.
Contact joint connection on high-frequency lines. It is known that high-frequency currents fa.4 only flow on the surface of their conductors. It is therefore advantageous to design the joint between two conductors in such a way that this current path is preserved as far as possible.
According to the invention, this takes place in that one line end with a spherical surface is placed against the end of the other line section, which is equipped with a circular cutting edge, so that at the joint too. There is a circular line of contact in different directions of the line ends hitting the arreinauders.
If it is a question of the connection of two tubular conductors, then one end of the conductor, for example, is made up of: a ball which: if the circular cutting edge of the other end of the line is pressed so that there is always a circular line between the two lines as a contact and current transition . The contact joint can also be produced in such a way that a ball or a spherically ground surface works together with a circular cutting edge, so that a circle is always present as a line of contact.
If, for example, it concerns the connection of two concentric lines, then it is sufficient if one end of the conductor, inner and outer conductor, are cut off sharply, while the other end of the conductor is spherical on the inner conductor and hollow-spherical on the outer conductor in order to ments in the joint to generate a linear contact and current transfer.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown.
Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment for a tubular conductor, and Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment for a concentric high frequency line.
According to Fig. 1, the tubular Lei ter a is to be brought into connection with some switching element b. For this purpose, the conductor end c is cut off so that a cutting edge d is created. On the switching element b, a metal tube e is attached, in which curved resilient inserts such. B. steel rods can be provided, which strive to keep the hose piece under tension.
The end of the hose carries a ball h with a larger diameter than the inside diameter of the circular conductor a. To connect a with b , the ball h is placed on the cutting edge d of the pipe a, in which position it holds itself resiliently.
In Fig. 2 a concentric line is shown with the junction of two line pieces i and 7n. The outer conductor n ends in a hollow spherical surface o, while the inner conductor p has a sphere q at the end. Outer conductor r and inner conductor s of line piece i are cut off sharply and are pressed in any way against the spherical ends of conductor m.
In the case of a circular shape of the conductors i and m , the joint can easily be at an angle, since there is always a circular contact between the two conductor ends.
