Sieherlieitsventil.
bei der sich das Sieherheitaventil öffnet. In diesem Falle wird sich nämlich das Ventil öffnen und schliessen, entspre- ehend den durch die Pumpenhube erzeugten Druck;
ehwankungen.
Sieherlieitsventil. It is known to use a membrane in Sieherheit.sventilen (#a diaphragm which is mounted on the valve housing and which transmits the adjustable pressure of a compression spring to a valve body which, when at rest, closes a liquid chamber against an overflow channel abs. In such valves However, vibrations often occur when the pressure in the pressure chamber to which the valve is connected is kept at an average level by means of a pump,
at which the security valve opens. In this case the valve will open and close according to the pressure generated by the pump stroke;
fluctuations. These fluctuations can lead to the rapid destruction of the membrane, so that it no longer c. light remains, w becomes ineffective through the valve and no longer represents a prediction, the harmful effect of these oscillations is reduced in the valve according to the present invention by
that the valve body is designed as a spherical cap, the flat side of which is pressed against the membrane and the spherical part of which lies in a neck-shaped depression, in the bottom of which the overflow channel opens and against its,
a seat for the edge forming the membrane is located on the membrane uuler of the action of the compression spring. Sci, i7a.nkunben of the type mentioned above, in which the valve body hits against the diaphragm, are greatly reduced in their harmful effect, because the relatively large contact surface of the flat side,
The spherical cap significantly reduces the specific pressure between the valve body and membrane and the impact of the valve body is strongly dampened.
The drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject invention in section.
Through a channel 1, liquid flows upwards out of a pressure chamber and under the membrane 3, which is arranged in the chamber 2. From here, the liquid exits through one or more outlet openings, which are indicated in the drawing by the dashed lines 4. If .the pressure in the chamber 2 increases so that it exceeds a certain amount, the diaphragm is raised against the action of the compression spring 5 ..
The preload of the spring 5 can be adjusted by means of the screw 6. The spring 5 presses with a relatively large plate 7 on the membrane 3 so that the latter is not damaged.
When the membrane 3 is raised, it will allow the entry of liquid into the bowl-shaped recess 8,. Whose edge forms a valve seat for the mem brane against which the latter was up to now.
At the same time, the valve body 9, which has the shape of a spherical cap and is arranged in the recess 8 and whose flat side is pressed against the underside of the membrane by means of the spring 10, is raised from its seat to the bottom of the recess. In this way, it is possible for the liquid to reach an overflow channel 11 which was previously covered by: the valve body 9 '.
From here the liquid z. B. fed to a reservoir and pressed back into the pressure chamber in the Übli chen manner.
The spring 10 is a helical spring which is arranged in the channel 11 in such a way that it is slightly compressed by the spherical cap 9: when the latter is at the bottom of the recess 8 :.
As soon as the pressure in the pressure chamber is lowered again, the membrane 3 also lowers under the action of the spring 5 and against the resistance of the spring 10, whereby the overflow through the channel 11 is interrupted.
The. The valve shown is reliable and solidly built. The membrane 3 is largely protected against the effect of any impacts that occur as a result of the constant switching on and off of the overflow in the valve, which is the case when the pressure fluctuates around the response level of the valve.
The valve can also be designed in such a way that the bowl-shaped depression is formed with a radius of curvature when the overflow channel enters, which is slightly larger than the radius of the spherical cap. Daidurah: it is possible to prevent the spherical cap from sticking at the inlet of the overflow channel, which is an advantage, because if it sticks, similarly:
Impact effects as mentioned above can occur.
