Ozonerzeuger.
Ozone generator. Ozone generators are known which have a plate-shaped dielectric with two electrodes firmly attached to each side.
In the subject matter of the present invention, dielectric plates with two electrodes are also used, but with the difference that the electrodes do not bear directly on the dielectric plates. but are attached at a distance from them. In this way it can be achieved that the discharges arising between the dielectric and the electrode are formed by longer glow sparks, which increases the effect of the ozone generator. The distance between the electrodes and the dielectric plate expediently depends on the level of the voltage used.
Effective glow discharges can, for example, be generated at 1500 volts. Dielectric plates and electrodes can be flat, but can also be corrugated or have another shape that increases the surface area.
The electrodes expediently consist of fine grids made of an aluminum alloy. The dielectric can consist of mica or a synthetic resin.
The drawing shows an implementation of the subject matter of the invention.
In Fig. 1, an ozone generator is shown in ri ss. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of an outer element of the unit with its fastening represents supply.
Fig. A shows a unit in plan, with three elements.
Each element has a mica or synthetic resin plate a, on the two surfaces of which a fine-mesh grid electrode b are placed at a certain distance. The dielectric plates are provided with holes at the four corners, which are intended for the assembly of the elements by means of four threaded rods d and the nuts e.
The electrodes are attached to the dielectric plate a in such a way that two fastening strips c, also provided with holes, made of ozone-resistant material, are placed over the edges of the metal grids on two opposite sides of the plates and pressed on by means of nuts e.
The distance between the electrodes and the plate is fixed with spacer strips f made of ozone-resistant material, which are also pressed through the nuts e a. The outer element of the unit is mounted on a plate h made of ozone-resistant material by means of the four threaded rods d. The connection i. the electrical wiring is done on two threaded rods dl and d2, while the other two rods are only used for fastening.
Depending on the desired output of the ozone generator, several elements can also be assembled into one unit (Fig. D).
The contact between the lead and the electrode is established by the nut e and the fastening strip c, one end k of which has the contact points g with the electrode and the screw nut, is metallized.
The ozone generator can be built into a housing, which is not shown, that has openings for the inlet and outlet of the oxygen to be ozonated, respectively. the air is provided.
