Misehmaschine.
PATENTANSFRTTGH:

Mixing machine.
The present invention relates to a mixing machine with a horizontal mixing blade shaft.
Due to the special arrangement and design of the mixing blades and paddles, the mixing machine according to the invention enables rapid and homogeneous mixing of the material to be mixed.
According to the invention, the mixing machine is characterized in that mixing blades are arranged in axial planes to the blade shaft, with at least two mixing blades lying in the same plane forming a frame subdivided by mixing blades, the longitudinal cross members of which extend up to the curvature of a mixing trough, are arranged inclined to the direction of rotation and can be sharpened like a knife on the front side.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, and they show:
Fig. 1 the machine partly in view, partly in section and on a larger scale,
2 and 3 are a transverse and a longitudinal section through part of the machine and
4 shows a detail of the same, partly in view, partly in section.
In the illustrations, 1 designates the mixing trough with the horizontal mixing blade shaft 3, which can be closed by the cover 2; 4 the ball bearings 1 receiving the vane shaft, which are supported by means of supports 5 on trestles 6, and 60 the drive unit formed from a motor with planetary gear, which is intended to drive the vane shaft 3 via a flexible coupling 7. The drive unit 60 is supported on a bracket 8 of one frame 6. The supports 5 are screwed to the brackets 6 and welded to the support plates 9 of the mixing trough (see FIG. 4). Stuffing boxes 10 seal the vane shaft from the mixing trough.
On the underside of the mixing trough is a rotary slide guide 11 welded to this for a tubular rotary slide 12 which extends over the entire length of the mixing trough and which can be operated by the handle lever 13. The rotary slide guide and the rotary slide are according to the length of the opening 14 in: the bottom of the mixing trough each with two opposite openings 15 respectively. 151 provided. By appropriately setting the slide 12 by means of the handle lever 13, the openings 14, 15, 151 can be brought into congruence with one another, so that the mix can be conveyed from the mixing trough into the extendable filling crate 16 below.
On the mixing paddle shaft 3, mixing paddles 17 on the one hand and mixing paddles 18 with their axes on the other hand are arranged in axial planes which are vertical to one another, the mixing paddles 17 forming a frame, the longitudinal cross members 17l of which extend to the curvature of the mixing trough, are arranged inclined to the direction of rotation and on the front side are sharpened like a knife.
This frame is subdivided by mixing blades 172 which form cross members, the mixing blades 172 of one wing conveying in one axial direction and those of the opposing wing in the other.
The n-blades 173 of the mixing blades that form the transverse sides of the frame extend to the end walls of the mixing trough and, like the blades 172, are inclined to the blade shaft 3, namely - in such a way that, together with the longitudinal beams 171, they form frame halves that expand in the direction of rotation.
The blades 18, which are arranged perpendicular to the pair of blades on the shaft 3, are arranged on the shaft 3 in an alternating inclination and tapered at the outer end.
The machine works as follows:
After the emptying device has been closed by turning the handle lever 13 into the horizontal position by means of the rotary valve and the material to be mixed has been introduced into the trough, this is closed by means of the cover 2. When the motor is started, the mixing blades 17 and the blades 18 with the blade shaft 3 are set in rotation. This is done by means of the mixing blades 17, which, as a result of the blades 172, which move the mix alternately to the left and to the right with one blade only in one direction and only in the other direction, and the blades 18, which are arranged in an alternating inclined position on the blade shaft rapid and homogeneous mixing.
The blades 173 of the mixing blades 17, together with the longitudinal beams 171, grasp the mix adhering to the lower trough walls.
The mixing trough is emptied while the machine is running by turning the rotary valve into a vertical position by moving the handle lever.
In particular, the longitudinal cross members 171 accelerate the complete emptying of the mixing space and the conveyance of the material to be mixed into the filling crate, which can be closed in a dust-tight manner.
There could also be more than just two pairs of mixing blades on the blade shaft.
The machine described is used, for example, for mixing core sand in foundries, powdery substances in the chemical industry and printing and maleic inks and flours of all kinds.
