Fig. 1 zeigt, in Seitenansicht, die Kalorien-Zähleinrichtung nach der ersten Ausfüh rungsform ;
Fig. 2 ist ein Vertikalschnitt nach der Linie A-B in Fig. 1 ;

Calorie counter for liquid heat transfer media.
The subject of the main patent is a calorie counter for liquid heat carriers, which is characterized by the fact that the revolutions of a speed water meter are transmitted to a counter by an engaging and disengaging clutch, with the two coupling halves in one of the speed of the water meter linear proportional rhythm are brought into and out of engagement with each other and the proportion of the water meter rotary movement, during which the clutch is engaged, depends on a temperature difference such that the revolutions registered by the counter are proportional to the product:
Temperature difference X amount of water.
The present invention relates to a further embodiment of this calorie counting device and is in turn characterized in that the two coupling halves of the clutch that can be engaged and disengaged are formed by two gears that are designed and arranged so that the two mutually meshing Gears in accordance with the said temperature difference at least on part of the rotational movement of one of these gears is possible.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 shows, in side view, the calorie counter according to the first Ausfüh approximate form;
Fig. 2 is a vertical section on the line A-B in Fig. 1;
3 shows, in a top view, the calorie counting device according to the second embodiment, and
Fig. 4 shows, again in side view, a device according to the first Ausfüh approximately form, but with different means for controlling the clutch.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, 1 is a spur gear in the shape of a cylinder with a flat base surface perpendicular to the axis and an upper delimitation by a screw surface. This screw surface makes up exactly one approach, so that the lowest and the highest point of the same come to lie vertically one above the other.
This wheel 1 sits on an axle 2 which is mounted at 3 and 4. On this axis there is another gear 5, there. s is connected by a wheel 6 to the impeller (not shown) of a water meter.
An axis 7 is arranged parallel to axis 2. The same is axially movable at 9 and 10. r mounted and carries two gears 11 and 12. The gear 12 is connected by the gear 13 with the counter.
(The latter is not shown in the drawing.) The gear 11 comes into intermittent engagement with the wheel 1, in each case until, when the gear 1 rotates, its upper boundary edge comes out of contact with the lower edge of the wheel 11.
14 and 14 'are the two temperature sensors of known construction. As already mentioned in the main patent, they are installed in the flow and return of a heating system. They are in hydraulic connection with the spring tubes 16 and 16 'through the capillary tubes 15 and 15'.
When the sensors heat up, the volume of the expansion fluid increases. In position I, the wheels 1 and 11 do not intervene.

You can see from this that a tempera. tur-dependent change in the duration of the intervention is achieved. The lever ratio and the shape of the gear 1 can be selected so that exactly one of the temperature difference corre sponding part of the rotation of the water meter is transferred to the counter, such that the counter for the product
Amount of water X temperature difference can be calibrated. and part of it is printed in the spring tube. These expand, their axial movement being transmitted to the T-shaped lever 19 by the pins 17 and 17 ′. These pins are connected to the lever 19 in the manner of a joint at points 18 and 18 ′.
The lever 19 is spread fork-shaped at the front and is connected to the sleeve 22 by two tabs 21 (see FIG. 2).
The axis 7 is rotatably mounted in this bushing and axially fixed by two adjusting rings 8.
The setup works as follows: As soon as z. B. the lead tempera. ture compared to the return temperature increases, the pin 17 comes forward; as a result, the lever 19 is pivoted about the point 18 '. The tab 21 thereby makes a downward movement and d brings there. with the axis 7 with the wheels 11 and 12 in a different position.
With the same forward and return temperatures, the lever 19 remains in the horizontal direction, as a result of which the axle 7 does not move up and down. The device therefore only reacts to temperature differences.
By the axial adjustment of the wheel 11, the engagement conditions of the transmission are changed. In Fig. 1 the same for some positions of the lower edge of the wheel 11 are shown in dashed lines.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, 23 is an oval gearwheel which is mounted on an axle 24 which is connected to the impeller. The associated gear 25 is mounted on a movable axle 26 located at one end of a two-armed lever 27. This lever is rotatable about the axis 28 on which a gear 29 is also mounted. The gear 29 is on the one hand permanently in engagement with the gear wheel 25 and on the other hand is in connection with the counter (not shown).
At the other end of the lever 27 engages
Lever 19 of the temperature sensor device. By changing the temperature difference, the distance a between the axes 24 and 26 and thus the duration of the intervention will vary. The gear wheel 23 is designed so that the pitch circle radius increases proportionally with the angle of rotation from one point to the diametrically opposite point and then decreases proportionally again. It is thereby achieved that during one revolution of the wheel 23, the engagement duration of the wheels 23 and 25 with a smaller spacing a also has a proportional change in the engagement duration, which corresponds to the principle of the main patent.
In Fig. 4 is again the Za. Gear transmission shown in FIG. but with a single temperature sensor.
The same consists of a bimetallic strip 30 which is fastened at 31 to the water meter housing and which is mechanically connected with its free end 32 directly to the axis 7.
When the temperature changes, the free end 32 of the bimetal strip moves up or down and adjusts the axis 7 in the axial direction. This changes the engagement ratios of the wheels 1 and 11.
If the bimetal and axis 7 are correctly dimensioned, the duration of the intervention will increase from the minimum to the maximum temperature from zero to the maximum. The device works according to the principle of the Ealorie Counter.
The construction with a bimetal sensor can of course also be used in conjunction with the embodiment according to FIG. 2 or with the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the main patent. But it only ever comes into question if one of two temperatures is constant and only the other is variable. B. is the case with hot water systems. In this case, only the hot water temperature needs to be checked, but not the temperature of the fresh water. ssers. The temperature sensor can thus be accommodated in the water meter itself.
