Description
Tragbarer Schild zum Schutz gegen Funken-wnrf und Hitze. Bei der Bekämpfung von Bränden ist für den Erfolg eine grösstmögliche Annäherung an den Brandherd massgebend.
Bisher erfolgte die Bekämpfung von Bränden unter Ausnützung eventuell vor handener stationärer Deckung, wobei bei gro sser Hitzeentwicklung oder Funkenwurf ent weder ein Abstand gewahrt werden musste, der die Bekämpfung in der Wirkung redu zierte, oder durch Beschränkung des Blick feldes, z. B. vom Standort hinter einer Mauer oder Wand aus, die genaue Beobachtung der Brandstelle, insbesondere bei Rauchentwick lung, und die Feuerbekämpfung aus nächster Nähe verunmöglichte.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen tragbaren Schutzschild zum Schutz gegen Funkenwurf und Hitze, der sich dadurch kennzeichnet, dass er aus gegen Hitze widerstandsfähigen Leichtbaustoffen herge stellt ist und den Träger gegen Hitze und Funkenwurf aus Reichnähe zu schützen ver mag, um dadurch eine Annäherung an Brand- und -andere Hitzeherde zu ermöglichen.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegen standes veranschaulicht.
Fig. 1 ist eine Ansicht des Schutzschildes von hinten gesehen; Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen je einen vertikalen und einen horizontalen Schnitt durch diesen Schutzschild.
Der Schutzschild gemäss Fig. 1, 2 und 3 hat eine äussere, im Querschnitt gebogene, dünne Metallplatte a, z. B. aus Aluminium, mit polierter Aussenfläche, um wärmerüek- strahlend zu wirken. b ist eine innere, aus einem Hartstoff, z.
B. Pressspan oder dergl., bestehende Platte, die an der Metallplatte a befestigt ist. Zwischen diesen beiden Platten a und b ist eine wärmeisolierend wirkende Futtereinlage, z. B. aus Wellkarton c. Auf der Innenseite der Platte b sind Tragschleifen bildende Gurten d befestigt, durch die der linke oder rechte Unterarm hindurchgestossen werden kann, um den Schutzschild zu tragen.
e sind zwei an der Innenplatte befestigte Querstreben, und f ist ein horizontaler Seh- schlitz, der entweder offen oder mit einer durchsichtigen, farbigen oder farblosen Fen sterscheibe überdeckt ist.
