Fig. 2 zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Resonanz-Empfangsrelais.
Device for the reception of electrical impulses superimposed on a high-voltage network. The use of audio frequency overlay methods for the remote control of tariff devices, hot water storage tanks, etc. is known per se.
A method has proven to be particularly advantageous, which works with a single transmission frequency and uses different pulse series to distinguish between different control commands. which affect voter receiving devices accordingly. The advantages of this method are, on the one hand, the practically unlimited number of different command options, and on the other hand, the relatively simple and thus economically favorable transmission system.
On the receiving side, however, the profitability of the single-frequency voter method, in contrast to the multi-frequency method, depends heavily on the number of different control commands for which the individual receivers of a system are mostly set up.
Since the basic equipment, consisting of the resonance receiving means, remains the same regardless of the number of control commands to be processed by the individual receiving device, the greater the effort for each on / off double command, the greater the effort Basic equipment and the smaller the number of operations of the receiving device in question.
In the case of receiving devices, the majority of which are set up for only a few operations, it is therefore advantageous in the single-frequency selector method if the basic equipment requires the least possible effort. This basic equipment consists of the resonance receiving means, which are used to filter out the weak audio frequency pulses from the mixture of mains voltage and control voltage and convert them into high-voltage pulses.
A known arrangement for the resonance receiving part uses a series resonance circuit, be standing from a capacitor and a choke coil, a rectifier whose AC input is connected to taps of the choke coil, and a sensitive DC relay, which is via the rectifier of the audio frequency pulse - flow is excited. This arrangement has the disadvantage of considerable effort and the risk to the rectifier from overvoltage.
According to the invention, this latter disadvantage is eliminated by the fact that in the present device for the reception of a power network superimposed electrical pulses of non-network frequency, an AC relay with a capacitor forms a series resonance circuit tuned to the superimposition frequency, which is directly connected to the network connected. The AC relay replaces the choke coil, the rectifier and the DC relay of the known arrangement and is directly excited by the audio frequency pulses.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is explained on the basis of a schematically presented embodiment :. It shows: Fig. 1 is a circuit diagram of the receiving device and Fig. 2 is an embodiment of the Re sonance receiving relay.
In Fig. 1, between a network A, ss is a series resonance circuit, consisting of a receiving relay E and a capacitor C. The resonance relay E is tuned together with the capacitor C to the transmission frequency. It has a contact device e, which puts a voter D under tension. This selector D is only shown in principle in the figure, it can be designed as a motor selector or as a step selector. By the selector D individual command relays, such. B. K, and li, actuated, which correspond to the contacts k, and k ;; are equipped.
In the figure, these command relays were shown for example as toggle relays.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the resonance receiving relay. So that this special AC relay can take on the role of a good choke coil in the resonance circuit, it must above all have a high goods factor Q = (co L): r .
Apart from the well-known measures of using layered iron cores and the arrangement of a suitably selected air gap, this was primarily achieved by the fact that all magnetically effective construction parts, such as end plates of the iron packs, carriers, etc., set off from the stray field electrical insulation material. In FIG. 2, only the rear end plate 7 of these parts has been shown for the sake of clarity.
The tuning of the series resonance circuit to the transmission frequency could in principle be achieved just as well by changing the capacitance as the inductance. However, since standard paper capacitors are only available with fixed capacitance values, tuning by changing the inductance is the more appropriate method.
In the execution example, the vote is now made by the alternating current relay 1, which is designed as a throttle, by means of a variable air gap 3 lying in series with the armature air gap 2. To a comfortable vote by changing the serial air gap 3 with; To aim for simple forms of construction, the stator core is divided into two L-shaped parts 4 and 5, of which the core part 4 is firmly connected to the support parts, while the core part 5 is pivotable about the armature axis 6 as the axis of rotation.
So that the armature air gap 2 is maintained when the adjustable core part 5 is pivoted, the end plates made of insulating pressed material are each provided with a cylindrical elevation 7 'on the side facing the core. These elevations of the end plates have a double anchor air gap larger diameter than the anchor and protrude slightly into the share of the two core 4 and 5 formed cylindrical hollow space. Of these two end plates, only the rear end plate 7 with the elevation 71 is shown in FIG.
The end plates also carry the bearing bores for the armature axis 6 in a concentric position to the elevations. When assembling and coordinating, it is sufficient to press the core parts 4 and 5 lightly against the circular elevations of the end plates and then tighten the pressure screws in order to achieve precise centering of the armature 8 and compliance with the prescribed air gap 2.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the AC receiving relay is designed as a rotary armature relay. In contrast to this, the known AC relays are mostly built as clapper armature relays, the magnetic drive flux of which is partially linked with a short-circuit winding to avoid the AC noise. Such a folding armature relay is not very suitable for the present purpose,
because it has relatively high power losses due to the short-circuit winding. On the other hand, however, precautions must also be taken with the rotary armature relay to avoid any tendency to oscillate. When the rotary armature relay is used as a throttle in a resonance circuit, the tendency to oscillate is caused by the increase in the magnetic flux and thus. the inductance when tightening the armature is particularly favored.
The increase in inductance results in a detuning of the resonance with a corresponding decrease in the relay torque. These difficulties are remedied in the exemplary embodiment through the following precautions:
which aim to reduce the relative change in inductance depending on the position of the armature. By a magnetic shunt 9 to the armature 8, the ratio of the armature flux, which is variable with the armature position, to the total flow and thus also the relative change in the inductance of the relay winding 10 is set depending on the armature position.
However, this magnetic shunt 9 generates an additional magnetic field, which in turn causes additional active power consumption. Well, now. So that a reduction in the quality factor Q is not associated, because at the same time the reactive power consumption is also increased, an increase in the active losses is nevertheless undesirable.
In order to keep the latter within the narrowest possible limits, the leakage flux is intercepted by a suitable shield plate 11 and directed into desired paths. This shield plate 11 is made of magnetically high quality material, so that the losses caused by the scattering remain smaller, despite the artificial increase in the leakage flux, than if the originally steered scatter lines have any metal parts in the vicinity of the relay, e.g. B. support parts would prevail.
With this measure, protection against accidental or fraudulent external influences on the receiving relay can be achieved at the same time.
The dependency of the inductance on the armature position is further reduced by the fact that the usable armature angle of rotation is selected to be small, which means that the angle of rotation possible with rotary armature relays is not fully utilized. The latter is formed by the neutral plane, which is vertical and contains the armature axis of rotation, and the pole plane, which is horizontal and also contains the armature axis of rotation, and is 90.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the armature is in the zero position from the vertical right position, that is, from the neutral plane, turned a little clockwise, so that the armature angle of rotation is less than 90. With this measure, the unused part of the possible armature rotation angle is laid from the neutral axis in the direction of the relay armature suit, which physically achieves the same effect as that of a magnetic secondary circuit to the relay armature, namely a satzfluh independent of the armature position.
To avoid any anchor oscillation tendency, even in particularly difficult cases, such as -z. B. at an irrconstant transmission frequency can still occur, to suppress, a disk 12 with sufficient ATassententrittmoment is loosely mounted on a hub 18 on the armature axis 6, which in turn sits firmly on the armature axis 6.
This disc 1? has a separating effect when the acceleration of the armature 8 exceeds the limit at which the disk 1? begins to slide on the Nahe 13, the resulting frictional work quickly damping any oscillation. At the same time, this disk 12 helps to prevent the armature 8 from bruising in the end positions.
Sensitive relays, like the one described above, have the disadvantage that the armature has the tendency to stick in the end positions, namely occur, even where magnetic sticking due to the remanent 31a gnetismus is out of the question, after longer work and Even when not in use, under atmospheric influences, adhesive forces on the stops that can reach the order of magnitude of the anchor driving forces.
This disadvantage is eliminated in the exemplary embodiment in that a movable intermediate piece 1.4 is arranged so that it acts as a stop of the movable armature 8 in the two end positions and changes its position slightly with each back and forth movement of the armature 8, where the gradual The creation of adhesive forces is reliably prevented. The movable intermediate piece 14 has the shape of a cylinder and is passed loosely through a recess 15 in the relay armature 8, while its two ends are also loosely held by corresponding cylindrical recesses in the two end plates.
The play between these depressions and the intermediate piece 14 and that between the intermediate piece 14 and the recess 15 in the armature 8 is decisive for the size of the angle of rotation of the armature. By simply changing the diameter of the intermediate piece 14, the angle of rotation of the armature 8 can therefore be adapted to the respective purpose of the relay. On a lever 16a attached to the front end of the armature axis 6, a pin 1.6 is arranged which, when the armature axis is rotated: 6 actuates the contact device 17. The armature 8 is held in its rest position by a tension spring 16b acting on the lever 16a.
The arrangement described is in and of itself, due to the lack of a rectifier, largely insensitive to overvoltages. Such overvoltages can arise in superimposed remote control systems because the pulse voltage at the receiving location experiences an unintentional increase due to resonance phenomena in individual power supplies, which can reach several times the value of the normal control voltage. In order to be protected against such overvoltages, the capacitor would have to be dimensioned much more voltage-resistant and therefore more expensive than normal operation requires.
Instead, according to the exemplary embodiment, the iron core of the receiving relay 1 is provided with a cross-section reduction, preferably in the form of a hole 18 in the solid core part 4 arranged in the middle of the coil 1.0. This cross-section reduction is to be measured in such a way that with normal pulse voltage the iron core is just not saturated.
If the pulse voltage is increased, however, a saturation which increases in proportion to the voltage increase and a corresponding decrease in the inductance of the coil 10 occurs at this point, whereby the resonance circuit consisting of the choke coil E (Fig. 1) and the capacitor C ,: becomes increasingly out of tune. This ensures that above the normal impulse voltage the current in the resonance circuit hardly increases appreciably, even with an extreme voltage increase.
The particular advantage of this automatic current limitation is that, on the one hand, the capacitor is protected while, on the other hand, a response time and bounce-free relay is achieved that is largely independent of the pulse voltage.
