K3, in Berührung.
Device for the production of photographic recordings with a controllable linear camera. The invention relates to a device for the production of photographic records in time intervals selectable by presetting of more than '/ 16 seconds with a controllable cinematographic's camera. Such devices are widely known for kinematographic representation of slow processes such. B. growing plants or the like. But they are also used for the ongoing registration of technical processes.
According to the invention, known devices are significantly improved in that at any time, by actuating a control device, a motion picture recording of at least 16 pictures per second can be switched over. A need for this can arise during registration or during the cinematographic reproduction of such processes that run at different speeds in the individual phases and are therefore to be shown temporarily at the actual speed of their course.
In one embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, in addition to a pulse generator for triggering recordings at adjustable time intervals, which has a contact control roller with different numbers of cams, at least one contact set is provided which causes a motion picture recording during the duration of its contact.
This contact set is used advantageously for the automatic triggering of motion picture recordings and is actuated by a control means set, which consists of two individually adjustable .Control means be, one of which determines the beginning, the other the end of the motion picture recording .. is useful. each of the two Steuermit tel this Steuermittel.satzes adjustable against a time scale in order to be able to choose the duration and the position of a motion picture recording within a series of recordings at adjustable time intervals.
In an expedient Ausfüh approximate form of the object of the invention, each of the two control means is designed as a disc, which is loosely rotatable with respect to a shaft and can be determined which shaft, while after triggering by hand, a series of recordings is always made automatically at adjustable time intervals rotates by the same angle.
In the drawing, a preferred embodiment of the subject invention is shown. It show: F sharp. 1 a cinematographic camera and the devices provided for its control Ge in external views, Fig. 2 a known in its essential parts, but in order to adapt to the requirements modified drive device of the cinematographic camera., Fig. 3 shows the essential parts of a pulse generator for the Triggering of recordings at adjustable time intervals of more than 1 / "second (e.g. 1 to 5 pictures per second),
4 and 5 show the device for the automatic control of moving picture recordings of at least 16 recordings per second in a front view and in a section along the line A-B in FIG. 4, and FIG. 6 shows a circuit diagram.
In Fis. 1 on the left an essentially known cinematographic camera (50) with an electric motor drive, on the right the device (51) for automatic control of recordings in adjustable settings. Time intervals and motion picture recordings and in the middle a manually switchable remote control arrangement (52) for the camera. The three devices are connected to one another only by electrical lines in the manner to be described in greater detail below with reference to FIG. 6.
For a better understanding of the overall device, it initially appears necessary to consider the drive device of the cinema camera. The drive motor consists essentially of the electromagnets 1 and 2 arranged at right angles to each other and an armature with pronounced poles rotatably mounted at the intersection of the center lines of these electromagnets. The rotation of the armature is achieved by alternating a circuit of the electromagnets 1 and 2, which is controlled by a collector.
The 1-motor circuit, which alternates between coils 1 and 1, is closed by a contact 3, which is actuated by the movement of armature 4 of an electromagnet 5. A lever 6 is rigidly connected to the armature 4 and usually engages with a projection 7 in a groove 8a of an otherwise circular disk 8. The laterally bent end 6a of the lever 6 rests against the arm 9a of a three-armed lever 9 which is loosely rotatable about a bolt 10 and is under the constant action of a spring 71.
The arm 9b of the lever 9 represents an auxiliary pawl which, in cooperation with <lein lever 6, has the task of stopping the armature of the electric motor at the end of a full revolution. For this purpose, the extension 9c cooperates with a circular disc 12 which is firmly connected to the motor armature, but which carries a projection 12a.
In the rest position shown, if the magnet 5 is excited, the projection 9c is prevented from falling behind the projection 12a in that a support projection 9d, which is resiliently connected to the arm 9b, moves against a segment-like projection 12b of the disc that projects in the axial direction 12 is supported. As far as the drive device is known.
In order to be able to carry out a motion picture recording at any time by means of remote control or fully automatically, a further arm 9c of the lever 9 is designed as an armature of an electromagnet 13.
In the event that he excites this magnet, the lever 9 is held in the position shown, so it cannot get into the blocking position under the action of the spring II. In this case, instead of an individual recording, a motion picture recording is created, the length of which depends on the duration of the excitation of the electromagnetic magnets 5 and 13.
The particularly in the F'ig. 3 to 5 Darge presented control device has an electric motor 14, which sets a control roller 17 at a speed of one revolution per second via a gear 15 and a clutch 16 in motion. The .Steuer- ivalze 17 is composed of cams, disks 17a to 17e and spacing between these: rings.
While the cam disk 17a has only a single cam on the circumference, the disk 17b has two cams offset by 180 relative to one another, the disk 17c with three cams offset by 120 relative to one another. Cams, and accordingly the disk 17d with four, the disk 17e with five cams. In the course of one rotation of the control roller 17, the contacts belonging to the cam disks K4-K8 are once respectively. twice etc, closed.
On a shaft 18 arranged parallel to the control roller 17 there is a clutch: whose: one half 19a is usually set in rotation via gears 20 and 21 and; it rotates loosely on the shaft 18. The other coupling half 19b is uridotatable on the shaft 18, but is mounted so as to be slidable.
The shift is dependent on the excitation of an electromagnetic Of,: the armature 22 brings a lever 23 designed as a cam plate at the end against the action of the return spring 24 to swing out against the action of the return spring 24 and thereby the with the coupling part 19b engaged fork 25 at its fixed Pivot point 26 pivoted. On the lever 23 there is a set 23 a, which interacts with a control disk 27 to.
This control disk is fastened on its axis 28, which can be set in rotation from the shaft 18 via worm 53 and worm wheel 54, and contains an edge cutout 27a in which the projection 23c engages in the rest position. In addition, the disk 27 is provided with a segment-like, laterally projecting shoulder 27b, which at 27e gradually merges into the plane of the disk 27 in the manner of a sloping roof and which cooperates with a leaf spring 29 attached to the lever 23.
On the axis 28 (Fig. 5) on the outer circumference .zahntes locking wheel 30 is BEFE Stigt. A pipe section 3. 1, over this a further pipe section 32 is loosely pushed over the axis 28. The pipe section 31 is with a disc 33 and a hub .34 with a cam 35, the pipe section 32, however, with a disc 36 and a hub 37 with a second. Cam disk 3 $ firmly connected. A bushing 39 which surrounds the pipe section 3, 2 and is fastened in the housing wall 40 is used for mounting: the axis 28.
On each of the disks .33 and 36, a handle 41 is attached so that it can be slid in radial alignment. Each of these handles is provided with a shoulder 42: whose end has a toothing: which can be brought into engagement with the teeth of the disc 30 and is usually held in engagement under the action of springs, not shown.
It is therefore possible, after moving the handles 41 outward, to set the pipe sections 31 and 32 with the cam discs 35 and 38 in certain angular positions opposite the axis 28 and to lock them by releasing the handles 41.
As can be seen from Mg. 4, the cam disks 3-5 and 38 have a smaller radius over about half of their circumference. By mutually rotating the cam disks 3: 5 and 38, a groove can be formed, whose opening angle can be changed from 0 to about 180 and whose position in relation to the axis 28 can also be adjusted.
The circumference of the two curved shards 35 and 38 is scanned: by a roller 43 which is attached to a one-armed lever 44. The lever 44, which is loosely rotatable about a bolt 45, is under the action of a spring 46 and is shaped like a step at its free end.
This end is used to control a spring set K3 made up of three contact springs that do not touch in the rest position, namely these contact springs are brought into contact with one another as long as the lever 44 swings out through the groove of the cam disks 35, 38 the clockwise direction will be released.
In order to be able to determine the beginning and end of this contact in advance, a 7eitskalenscheibe 30a, which can be seen from FIG. 1, is attached to the disk 30, which is attached to the disks. 33 and 36 attached, appropriately trained in different ways or differently colored, the beginning and end of the film recording indicating pointer 3: 3a and 36a face each other.
In addition to an off switch KI (see FIGS. 1 and 6), the control device also contains a switch S with which one of the contacts K4-K8 can be selected.
The control unit shown in Fig. 1 in the middle contains a push button at the top right for actuating a contact K9 (Fig. 6), at the top left another push button for opening a contact K12 and in the middle a lever 47 adjustable in three positions , in the left position a contact K11, in the right. Position closes a spring set K10 consisting of three springs, while in the middle position it leaves these contacts open. In addition to these electrical switching means, this control unit also contains mechanical locks that only allow the pushbutton for contact K9 to be depressed when the switching lever 47 is in the middle position.
The mode of operation of the described device is as follows: It is initially assumed that a series of recordings is to be made at intervals of 1! Second. In .diesem case the lever 47 is to be pivoted to the left into the position marked "1-5", the contact Kll being closed. Select contact K6 by setting switch S. The recordings begin when the device is switched on (switch KI in FIG. 6). The following circuits exist: from the positive pole via, switch K1, motor 14, contact K11, switch KI, negative pole.
The motor 14 starts. the control roller 17 in i rotation, and via the contact K6, which is closed three times during each full rotation, apply three pulses per second to the release magnet 5 of the camera. The following circuit exists for this: positive pole, switch K1, release magnet 5, switch 8 ", contact K6, contact K11, switch K1, negative pole.
When the armature 4 is tightened, the motor circuit for the coils 1 and 2 is closed via contact 3 and the .Sperransatz 7 of the lever 6 is pivoted into the release position. Since the elec tromagnet 13 is not energized, the three-armed lever 9 can be pivoted clockwise by the spring 11 after the segment 12b has passed on the support extension 9d, so that after completion of one full revolution the extension 12a of the .Scheibe 12.
the locking approach 9c meets. Since the excitation of the release magnet 5 took place only briefly, the armature 4 drops after completing a full rotation of the disc 8, and the three-armed lever 9 is pivoted back into the designated rest position via the approach 6a. When the next impulse arrives, the game repeats itself.
If a film is now to be taken over, it is sufficient to pivot the lever 47 to the right into the position marked with film. Here the contact Kll is opened and the contact K10 is closed. As a result, the circuit for the motor 14 is switched off. At the same time, however, two circuits are formed for the duration of the assignment for the tripping magnet 5 and the electromagnet 13 (positive pole, switch K1, electromagnet 5 and electromagnet 13 contact K10, .Switch K1, minus pole).
The electromagnet 13 prevents the lever 9 from pivoting into the blocking position, so that the armature 8 rotates continuously for the duration of this contact and produces a motion picture recording.
If the automatic shutdown of the device after a series of recordings has been made without making a motion picture recording, the cam discs 35 and 38 are to be set so that the scanning roller 43 does not find a groove anywhere. The lever 47 (Fig. 1) is brought into .die central position and the push button for contact K9 is actuated. This creates the following circuit: positive pole, switch KI, magnet Jf, contact K9, switch K1, negative pole.
The magnet 31 attracts its armature 22 and closes the coupling 19a, 19b by pivoting the lever 23. At the same time, the contact K2 is closed in the following circuit for the duration of the pivoting of the lever 23: positive pole, switch KI, motor 14, contact K2, switch KI, negative pole. The motor 14 is therefore switched on for the duration of a full revolution of the axis 28.
A falling back of the lever 23 in @di: e rest position is initially prevented by the leaf spring 29, which is supported against the segment piece 27b, and by the circumference of the cam disk 27 after a sufficient angle of rotation has been covered. The selection of a pulse contact K4-K8 by the. Switch S can be changed as required during operation.
Before completing a full revolution of the axis <B> 28 </B>, the roof <B> s </B> revolution 27c of the segment <B> 27b </B> lifted the leaf spring <B> e, </B> 29 so that when the rest position is reached, the lever 23 can fall back into the position shown and the clutch 19a ;, 19b and the motor circuit can open by means of the contact K2.
If, in addition to a series of recordings, a cinema recording is to be made at adjustable time intervals, the pointers connected to the disks 38, 36 and 36 according to the desired start and end of the motion picture recording are set with the help of the handles 41 Adjust the dial. The commissioning takes place again by closing the contact K9, whereby the axis 28 turns slowly as before.
As soon as the part of the reduced diameter common to the cams 35 and 38 is sensed by the roller 43 in the course of this revolution, the spring 46 pivots the lever 44 and thus brings the E edern of the spring set. K3, in touch. This creates the following circuits for the electromagnets 5 and 13 of the camera: plus pole, switch KI, release magnet 5 and elec tromagnet 13, spring set K3, switch K1, negative pole.
With the pivoting back of the lever 44, FIG. 4, the motion picture recording is ended and, after the axis 28 has covered a full revolution, the device is stopped, as described above.
The actuation of the push button to open the contact 12 has the consequence that the .circuit for .the lamps 48, which illuminate the dial of a clock that is usually shown with every shot, is interrupted. With this push button, a specific point in time can be registered so that the clock is not shown on one or more recordings.
The number of .the temporal interval between the series recordings determining cams and their cams can be changed as desired. Furthermore, the control means for automatically switching on a motion picture recording can also be designed in a different way. The use of a circular movement to carry out the switching operations, however, has the advantage that the starting position is reached again immediately after using the device.
