Description

  

  Nagel.    Zum Verbinden von Holzteilen werden  mit Köpfen versehene Nägel verwendet. Wer  den die Holzflächen, in welche die Nägel  eingetrieben worden sind, bemalt, so werden  die Nägel mit einem     Versenker    so tief in das  Holz eingetrieben, dass über     dem    Kopf eine  Vertiefung entsteht. Diese Vertiefung wird  mit     Spachtelmasse,    zum Beispiel Kitt, gefüllt;  damit der Farbanstrich lückenlos wird. Um  das Versenken der     Nägel    zu ersparen, ist der  Nagel gemäss vorliegender Erfindung mit  einem Ansatz versehen, dessen Querschnitt  kleiner ist als derjenige des Kopfes. Beim  Eintreiben des Nagels durch Schläge mit dem  Hammer auf den Ansatz wird der Nagel  kopf versenkt; der Nagel selbst wird auf die  richtige Tiefe eingetrieben.  



  In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs  beispiel der Erfindung dargestellt; es zeigt:       Fig.    1 den Nagel in Ansicht vor dem  Eintreiben und       Fig.    2 nach dem Eintreiben.    Der Nagel 1 ist mit einem Kopf 2 und  mit einem über .diesen vorstehenden Ansatz  versehen. Der     Querschnitt    des Ansatzes 3 ist  kleiner als derjenige des Kopfes 2. In der  Stirnfläche besitzt der Nagel eine kleine Ver  tiefung 4. Beim Eintreiben des Nagels 1  wird der Kopf 2 tief in das Holz eingetrie  ben. Der Ansatz     3,    verbreitert sich etwas.  Der     Ringraum    5 kann vor dem Bemalen mit  Kitt ausgefüllt werden, wobei auch die  Stirnfläche des Ansatzes<B>3</B> bedeckt wird.

   Der  Durchmesser des Ansatzes     3-    kann kleiner  sein als derjenige des Schaftes 6 des Na  gels 1. An Stelle der Vertiefung 4 kann im       Ansatz    :ein Schlitz vorgesehen sein.
