Tr eibgaserzeugungsanlage.
Ansitatt,die Luft für die Zwischenräume der S.pülluftleitung zu entnehmen, können die Leitungen 14 und 16 auch durch einen separaten Kompressor gespeist werden, dessen Antriebsmotor in Abhängigkeit vom Druck in .der Treibgasleitung @so geregelt wird, da.ss der Förderdruck dieses Kompressors stets gleich oder höher als der Druck in der Treibgasleitung ist. Die,den Zwischenräumen zugeführte, Luft kann durch einen Kühler geleitet werden;
Propellant gas generation plant. The invention relates to a propellant gas generating system and consists in the fact that propellant gas-carrying pipe parts are double-walled,
that 'the inner wall can expand independently of the outside and is provided with a seal that closes the space between the walls from the inside of the line, this space being filled with a gas whose pressure is regulated depending on an operating pressure of the propellant gas generator becomes.
In the drawing: exemplary embodiments of the invention, gsbgegeles are shown schematically.
Fi.g. 1 shows a propellant gas generation system, FIG. 2 shows the section through an exhaust pot on a larger scale,
3 shows a longitudinal section through a pipe part and FIG. 4 shows the longitudinal section through an expansion part of the propellant gas line. According to FIG. 1, the propellant gas generators 1 to 3 are designed as free-flight piston machines. Spie are provided with a line 4, the flush or. Leads charge air from the compressors to the power cylinder,
and their exhaust stubs 5 are closed with the interposition of expansion parts 6 to the mufflers 7, the latter being connected to the collecting line 9 via shut-off valves 8. This leads to the turbine 10 and has expansion parts 11 and pipe parts: 12 and 13.
From the lines 4 branch off air lines 14, which are connected to the spaces in .den expansion parts 6 and pots 7 and via a shut-off valve 15 to the collecting line 16, which supplies cooling air id @ en spaces in the individual parts of the propellant collecting line 9.
The various parts of the line carrying propellant gas are now double-walled so that the inner wall can expand independently of the outer one and is provided with a seal that closes off the space between the walls from the inside of the line , this interspace with a gais, which is also air:
can be filled, the pressure of which is regulated as a function of a B, etriebisdruelz of the propellant gas generation. -So the expansion part 6 according to Fi.g. 2, an inner wall 20 and an outer wall 21, which are connected to one another by the F'ederrohir 23. The spring tube 22 seals the space 2.3 from the inside of the tube 2 4, while the space 23 is sealed to the outside by the stuffing box 25. It is connected to the line 14 by the line 26.
The muffler 7 also has an inner wall 27 which, with the outer wall 28, encloses the intermediate space 29 connected to the air line 14. In the upper part, the two walls 27 and 28 are rigidly connected to each other, to enable different expansion, however in the lower part by the spring tube 30, which seals the Rjaum 29 from the gas-conducting interior 31 from.
The room 29 is connected to the air line 14 by means of the line 32. A cooling jacket 33 is provided around the outer wall 28, through which cooling water flows, which is fed in through line 34 and carried away via line 3.5.
The valve 15 is opened more or less when the associated free-piston machine is started by an operating pressure of this machine: the piston 3, 6, for example the pressure in the line 4 or an oil pressure in the lubricating oil circuit, and when this pressure disappears @ closed by spring force.
The tube part shown in Fig. 3 also has an inner wall 37 and an outer wall 38, which enclose the air-filled space 39 and are connected rigidly at one end and at the other end by means of the expansion tube 40 which extends the space 39 a'b . The outer vault 38 is surrounded by a cooling jacket 41 through which cooling water flows. The space 39 is through the pipe 1? connected to line 16 (Fig. 1).
Inside the inner wall 37 is a protective tube 43 voirge, which is only rigidly connected to the wall 37 at the left end, so that the annular space 44 is in open connection with the interior 24 of the propellant gas line and the protective tube 43 from the Treibga, druelz is equally loaded on both sides.
By. the protective tube 43, the heat transfer through the wall 37 is reduced. since the supply 37 is no longer directly flushed by the flowing through Treihgats, but is protected by the gas layer resting in the ring around 44.
The expansion part 11 according to FIG. 4 is designed like the expansion part 6 (fix. 2), but also has a cooling water jacket 46 and a cooling water jacket 47 surrounding the stuffing box 25, so that the outer wall 21 is cooled as a whole and Ltightness in the stuffing box: 25 as a result; these are avoided.
The system described has the advantage that the propellant gas generated in the free-piston machines in the propellant gas line leading to the turbine suffers as little heat loss as possible and the overall efficiency of the system can be kept high.
This is achieved by largely preventing the outflow of heat in the largest part of the propellant gas line due to the air present in the spaces between the inner and outer walls, which effect is increased by the use of a protective tube. Thereby.
that the pressure of this air is at least approximately as high or higher than the pressure in the propellant gas line, there is the advantage that the inner wall, which is due to the high temperature of the propellant gas, has a high Temperature assumes, relieved of pressure:, st and thus does not suffer any strength loads.
This advantage is increased by the fact that the pressure in the interstices is regulated as a function of the operating pressure of the propellant gas generator, so that if the propellant gas pressure fluctuates, for example as a result of different loads on the Propellant gas turbine,
neither an inner nor an outer overpressure of a greater extent loads the inner wall. It can therefore be designed with a smaller wall thickness, which not only reduces the weight of the pipeline itself, but also reduces the manufacturing costs, in that the inner wall is heat-resistant.
Material has to be used, and thus a weight saving on this material has a greater effect on costs than the greater weight for the outer jacket, which is not stressed by the temperature, but only by the pressure.
Instead of taking the air for the interstices of the purge air line, lines 14 and 16 can also be fed by a separate compressor whose drive motor is regulated depending on the pressure in the propellant gas line so that the delivery pressure of this compressor is controlled is always equal to or higher than the pressure in the propellant gas line. The air supplied to the interstices can be passed through a cooler;
or the interspaces of the individual line parts can also be provided at their ends with an inlet and an outlet for air, the air then being sucked in from the interspaces by a circulating pump and fed back to the air inlet through a cooler.
Instead of the membrane seal, which seals the space from the inside of the pipe, such a socket can be seen before.
