Description
Einrichtung zur Zylinderkühlung bei luftgekühlten Motoren. Die Kühlung der Zylinder erfolgt bei luftgekühlten; Motoren; ,gewöhnlich so, dass die Luft auf der einen: Seite quer zum, Zy- lindeT zugeführt und auf der andern Seite abgeleitet wird, weshalb der Zylinder sehr ungleichmässig gekühlt wird.
Es wurde des halb vorgeschlagen, den Zylinder durch einen in Richtung der Zylinderachse fliessen- ,den Luftstrom zu kühlen. Bei dieser Kühl- einrichtung verlaufen dann die Rippen der Zylinder in der Richtung der Zylinderachse. Diese Rippenanordnung ist aber in bezug auf das Giessen sehr kompliziert.
Bei der Einrichtung zur Zylinderküh lung nach der Erfindung sind auf dem Zy linder senkrecht zur Zylinderachse Rippen angebracht, die mit ,in einer Flucht in Rich tung der Zylinderachse angeordneten Löchern für den Durchgang :
der Kühlluft versehen! sind. Hierbei sind. die Löcher für den Ein tritt der Kühlluft in !das System der zur Zylinderachse oenkrechten Rippen zweck- mässig zwischen in Richtung zur Zylinder- achse verlaufenden Rippen des Zylinder- kopfes vorgesehen und der Durchmesser der Löcher in den; Zylinderrippen:
wird vorteil- haft von Rippe zu Rippe in der Richtung ,des Luftstromes kleiner, so dass .die vom Zylinderkopf her zuströmende Luft aufein- anderfolgend auf alle Rippen( verteilt wird-.
In der Zeichnung ist ein. Ausführungs- beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes veran schaulicht, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 den: Grundriss eines Zylinders eines luftgekühlten Motors in Ansicht und Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt nach Linie I-I in Fig. 1.
Der Zylinder 1 mit .dem Kopf 2 wird von dem von oben nach unten gerichteten Luftstrom .3 gekühlt. Zwischen den, in Rich- tung der Zylinderachse verlaufenden Rip pen 4 des Zylinderkopfes 2 sind in:
einer senkrecht zu diesen stellenden .Rippe vier Löcher vorgesehen, denen die Löcher 5 in den senkrecht zur Zylinderachse angehrach- ten Rippen 6 des Zylinders entsprechen, deren Durchmesser von Rippe zu Rippe kleiner wird, wodurch die Kühlluft zwischen den Rippen in vollkommener \'eise verteilt wird. Die Ueher 5 sind in einer Flucht in Richtung der Zylinderaehse angeordnet.
