Gas turbine blade with air film cooling. The invention relates to a gas turbine blade with air film cooling, in which the cooling air is supplied through the hollow blade and exits through slot-shaped openings on the hollow and back side. The invention consists in that the slot opening on the back of the hollow blade is relocated so far back that: Solid particles, for example soot and other combustion residues, cannot hit it.
It is known to protect gas turbine blades from the action of very high temperatures by allowing a cooling air film to flow on both sides of the blade. This is generated in such a way that cooling air is let out through narrow stomata located near the front edge. In operation, there is now the difficulty that these narrow stomata openings are easily blocked by combustion residues. The purpose of the invention is to prevent soot and other combustion residues from being deposited in the gap. An embodiment of the subject invention is on the drawing provides Darge.
Fig. 1 shows a diagram of the speeds Geschwin; FIG. 2 shows a blade in section along the line II-II of FIG. 3. FIG. 3 shows the blade on the right in section III-III of FIG. 2, on the left in a view from above. FIG. 4 shows the blade tip according to section IV-IV from FIG. 3.
The speed ratios for the gas at the entrance to the impeller are given by the triangle c, -uw,., Where cl is the absolute speed of entry into the impeller, w1 is the relative speed of entry into the impeller and u is the peripheral speed of the wheel means.
a, is the angle of the absolute entry velocity,, 81 is the angle of the relative inflow velocity.
Soot particles and other solid particles that are contained in the gas move after exiting the diffuser at a slower speed than the gas itself, because the particles @ have a significantly greater density than the gas and thus much less strongly in the guide channels be accelerated.
If, for example, the gas after exiting the stator, which is connected upstream of the impeller under consideration, has the speed cl (FIG. 1), the solid particles, for example, only have the speed c ' As is known, the relative inflow velocity to the rotor blade is found from the condition that the vector addition of the relative inflow velocity u7,
and the peripheral speed z4 of the wheel is equal to the absolute flow speed. e, must be, which is represented by the well-known Gesch-vindigkeils- triangle C, -u-2C. In this way one finds the angle ss, the relative inflow velocity ar,
If one applies this consideration to the motion of the solid particles, one finds a relative velocity ir, 'with which these particles enter the impeller. The direction of the motion of these particles is very different from that of the gas, namely angle Fig. 2 shows the section of a blade.
The air is shoveled through a duct 1 of the rotor \? supplied, whereby it is passed through channels 3 and 4, which are dimensioned by lava nozzles 5 and 6 so that the air when the machine is operating in its narrowest cross-sections 5 and 6 has approximately speed sound. Gaps 13 and 12 for the cooling air discharge (FIG. 3) adjoin channels 3 and 4.
The blade can be closed off by a cover 7, which is connected to the rotor blade 2 by a welding wire 7 @.
In Fi el -. 3 is the gas flow between the blades 2 and \? ' dotted and entered the speed. Part of the back of the shovel? is hit by particles above point 10, for example soot and other combustion residues. The following part of the blade back 11 is in the shadow of the previous blade 2 'and is no longer hit by the border beam 2i,' of the particles occurring. Since the air passes through the channel 4 and cools the blade through a gap 12, the blade is no longer hit by soot and slag particles.
The gas flows from finally tangential to the blade back past this gap 12 and the air flow from the gap is sufficient to prevent the deposition of particles at the mouth of the gap 12. Since these particles collide directly with the full relative speed w ', the gap 12, if it were located above the point 10, would be hit by the soot and slag particles.
The clogging of the gap 12 on the back of the blade is prevented if the gap is in the shadow of the jet of soot and slag particles.
The gap 12 must therefore be considerably further away from the front stowage hole 20 than the gap 13 on the hollow side of the blade. The column 12 respectively. 13 can extend over the entire length of the blade or only over a fraction of the length of the blade.
Fig. 4 shows the blade tip in the view from the side, the cover 7 is sharpened in a known manner.
Since the gap opening rings on the back of the blade are moved further back than the gap openings on the hollow side of the blade, so can. solid particles such as soot and others can no longer hit the stomata on the back of the blade.
