Fig. 1) nicht wie es erwünscht wäre, die Amplitude A erzielt, sondern nur die Amplitude A'.
Driving device for dynamic loudspeakers. The present invention aims to eliminate certain disadvantages in drive devices of dynamic loudspeakers, namely those disadvantages that are in particular special due to the influence of the restoring force of the centering device of the voice coil and the membrane edge on the dependence of the vibration excursions of the voice coil from the magnetomotive force of the Drive device are conditional.
As is well known, the magnetomotive force P exerted on the voice coil of a dynamic loudspeaker is given by the following relationship: P = C.0.Jl where: C = a constant given by the construction, 93 magnetic induction, J == the die SchwingspAe current flowing through and L = .the length of the conductor in the magnetic field.
To clarify the situation, the dependence of the oscillation amplitude A of the voice coil on the force P is shown in FIG. In the interest of a good tonal reproduction, the function <I> A - f (P) </I> should be a straight line, as shown by line 1, for example. In practice, however, the situation is such that this function is a curved line, since the restoring force of the oscillating coils - centering device and the membrane edge with increasing amplitudes A increases.
Thus, for example, the force P1 (see FIG. 1) does not achieve the amplitude A, as would be desired, but only the amplitude A '.
According to the invention, means are now provided in a drive device for dynamic loudspeakers in order to influence the dependence of the oscillation amplitude of the voice coil on the magnetomotive force in a desired, predetermined manner. For example, as already stated above, it is desirable to achieve a linear dependency between the force P and the vibration amplitudes achieved by the Schwin.bspule. Often one also wants to enable overcompensation in order to achieve an increase in dynamics, as is shown, for example, by curve 3 in FIG. 1.
The invention therefore provides means which influence the dependence of the oscillation amplitude of the voice coil on the magnetomotive force in a desired manner.
In FIGS. 2 to 6, for example, embodiments of the drive device according to the invention are shown with various such means.
According to FIGS. 2 and 3, this means that the voice coil is wound with an unbelievable pitch. In Fig. 2, 1 is the annular air gap between the Mabnetpolen 2 and 2 '. In this air gap be moved see the voice coil designated 3, which is mechanically firmly connected to the membrane 4, depending on the current flowing through the voice coil in the direction 5 respectively. 5 '.
The width of the magnetic field is given by the width of the outer ring-shaped magnetic pole and denoted by T. According to this embodiment of the invention, the winding 3 of the voice coil is designed in such a way that the part of the voice coil which in the rest state runs within the magnetic pole width L has a greater pitch than parts of the voice coil which are outside the: @ 1 = magnetic pole width lie.
In Fig. 2, the rest position is shown, and when swinging out, the tightly wound parts of the voice coil get into the annular gap 1 and thus into the magnetic force field, so that there are more turns in the force field than in the rest state. The conductor length d is thus increased and with it the magnetomotive force P (see above equation). In Fig. 3 the position of the voice coil is shown when it st swung out by the amplitude A to the right.
It is readily apparent that one can achieve any dependency between the decay amplitude A and the force P by means of these means, a Schwinbspul.e with a variable pitch height.
4 and 5, a further embodiment of the invention is shown, and in this case the magnetic induction 23 is influenced. In Fig. 4 the outer annular magnetic pole 2 is designed so that with increasing amplitude A, more and more turns of the winding length l 'of the voice coil are drawn into the narrow part d of the annular air gap between the magnetic poles, so that of course the magnetic Induction V is greater than in the middle part of the annular air gap of width D.
FIG. 5 shows the same basic concept as the embodiment according to FIG. 4, only in the case of FIG. Narrowing of the air gap achieved by a recess in the inner magnet pole 2 '.
Ir: Fi-. 6 further means for influencing the dependence of the oscillation amplitudes A on the magnetomotive force P represent #_, estellt. An evenly wound self-winding coil is provided, but this voice coil has short-circuit rings 6 and 6 ',
for example at both ends of the voice coil. These short-circuit rings have a braking effect when they are located within the magnetic field. If the coil now oscillates in the direction of 5 or 5 ', one of these two short-circuit rings emerges more and more from the magnetic field, and thus the braking effect of the eddy current generated in this short-circuit ring is also reduced, since this eddy current then becomes smaller.
The braking effect is therefore reduced in the event of oscillation excursions, so that when: A. oscillation the magnetomotive force P increases and the desired influence on the function <I> A - f </I> (P) is achieved .
The present examples therefore provide means of influencing the course of this function in any way you want. It is easy to see that in order to achieve an increase in dynamics, overcompensation of the restoring force can be achieved, as is shown, for example, by curve 3 in FIG.
It can be advantageous to use two or all of the means described above simultaneously with the same drive device.
