Rectifier measuring device for direct voltages, alternating voltages, direct currents and alternating currents with several measuring ranges for simultaneous connection to two measuring points.
The present invention relates to rectifier measuring devices for direct voltages, alternating voltages, direct currents and alternating currents with several measuring areas and a measuring path selector for simultaneous connection to two measuring points.
Meters of this type have either three terminals, one for current, one for voltage and a common, or four, two of which are for voltage measurements and two for current measurements. The measuring path selector then allows the measuring path of the measuring device to be connected either to the voltage terminals or to the current terminals.
In order to be able to use approximately the same scale length for both types of current, various arrangements are known in which the circuit is changed accordingly with the aid of a switch (type of current selector). If, in the present case, such a type of current selector is used, which can be operated independently of the measuring range selector, incorrect measurements will result in most switching arrangements if the switchover is forgotten.
But even when incorrect measurements are avoided by special switching arrangements, operation is cumbersome, because each measurement then requires the setting of three different switches.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that two independent current type selectors, each mechanically coupled with a measuring range selector, and a changeover switch that is inevitably coupled to the measuring path selector and is connected to the circuit with which the movable switching elements of the Measuring path selector are connected and its Wee. hselkontakte are each connected to a current type selector.
In the drawing, some exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in circuit diagrams. Four connection terminals 1 ... 4 are provided, the first two of which are intended for measuring voltages (V) and the other two for measuring currents (A).
In the case of direct voltages or direct currents, the polarity is marked as shown in the drawing. For tensions or Currents is a measuring range selector 5 respectively. 6 are provided, these being designed as crank switches. The crank arms slide on contacts 7 ... 12 and 7 '... 12' resp. 13 ... 18 and 13 '... 18', which correspond to the individual voltage resp. Current measuring ranges are assigned and connected to one another in pairs. The contacts 7 ... 12 are intended for alternating voltages, 7 '... 12' for direct voltages, 13 ... 18 for alternating currents and 13 '... 18' for direct currents.
For this purpose, the contacts are in a known manner with series resistors 19 ... 24 respectively. Secondary resistors 25... 29 are connected, the series resistor 24 being connected to the connecting terminal 1 via a further resistor 30 and the contacts 13, 13 ′ being connected to the connecting terminal 4 via a further auxiliary resistor 31.
In the arrangement according to FIG. 1, a measuring path selector is now provided, which consists of two visual arms 32 and 33 coupled to one another. A current type selector 34, 34 ′ designed as a double-pole changeover switch is inevitably coupled to the measuring range selector 5, and a current type selector 35, likewise designed as a double-pole changeover switch, with the measuring range selector 6.
35 '. In addition, a changeover switch 36, 36 ′ is mechanically coupled to the measuring path selector 32, 33 and is likewise designed with two poles. The switching arms 34 are respectively. 35 with the changeover contacts of the switching arm 36 and the visual arms 34'bezw.
35 'connected to the changeover contacts of the switching arm 36'. The switching contacts of the switching arm 32 are with the connec tion point of the resistors 24 and 30 BEZW. the connection terminal 4 and the switching contacts of the switching arm 33 with the connection terminal 1 respectively. connected to contact 18 '. The changeover contacts 37 and 38 respectively. 39 and 40 of the switches 34 respectively. 35 and also the changeover contacts 37 'and 38' respectively. 39 'and 40' the switch 34 'and 35 'are connected to one another in pairs in the manner shown in FIG.
The moving coil 41 of the measuring mechanism is connected on the one hand to the switching arm 32, the contacts 37 ', 39' and the center of the secondary winding 42 of a transducer 43 and via a resistor 44 to the contacts 38, 40 and on the other hand to the contacts 38 ', 40 'and connected to contacts 37 and 39 via a resistor 45. The primary winding 46 of the transducer 43 lies on the one hand on the switching arm 33 and on the other hand on the switching arm 36. The secondary winding 42 of the measuring transducer 43 is closed via two counterbalancing rectifiers 47 whose connection point is connected to the Sehaltarm 36 '.
When the switch is in the position shown, an equilibrium voltage can be measured at terminals 1 and 2. A current flows from the positive terminal 2 via the series resistors 22 ... 24, the switching arm 32, the rotating coil 41, the resistor 45, the switching arm 34, the switching arm 36, the primary winding 46 and the switching arm 33 to the negative terminal 1 the middle of the secondary winding 42 and the connection point of the rectifiers 47 are conductively connected via the switching arm 34 'and the switching arm 36', so that the rectifier arrangement is short-circuited and therefore ineffective.
If a direct current connected to the terminal 3, 4 is to be measured, the measuring path selector 32, 33 is turned over, the switching arms 36 and 36 'also being forced to be turned over. A current then flows from the positive terminal 4 via the shunt resistors 31 and 25 ... 27 to the negative terminal 3. A current is branched off from the terminal 4 via the switching arm 32, the rotating coil 41, the resistor 45, the switching arm 35, the switching arm 36, the primary winding 46, the switching arm 33 and the resistors 29 and 28.
The middle of the secondary winding 42 and the connection point of the rectifiers 47 are conductively connected via the visual arms 35 ′ and 36 ′, so that the rectifiers are again ineffective.
If an alternating voltage is to be measured at terminals 1 and 2, the measuring range selector 5 is switched to the desired alternating voltage range with the switching arms 34, 34 '.
A current then flows from terminal 2 via contact arm 5, the relevant series resistors, switching arm 32, resistor 44, switching arm 34, switching arm 36, primary winding 46 and switching arm 33 to terminal 1. In this case, alternating currents are induced in the two halves of the secondary winding 42, which are rectified by the rectifiers 47 in full-period circuit and flow via the switching arm 36 ′, the switching arm 34 ′ and the moving coil 41. Likewise, alternating currents can be measured when connected to terminals 3 and 4 if the measuring path selector 32, 33 is turned over accordingly.
A branch current then flows from terminal 4 via the switching arm 32, the resistor 44, the switching arm 35, the switching arm 36, the primary winding 46, the switching arm 33 and the corresponding resistors of the relevant measuring range switch. The secondary currents are rectified by the rectifier 47 and flow via the switching arm 36 ′ and the moving coil 41.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a measuring mechanism is provided. which contains, in a manner known per se, two mechanically coupled moving coil windings 48 and 49, the moving coil winding 48 being intended for direct voltage and direct current measurements and the moving coil winding 49 for alternating voltage and alternating current measurements. The two moving coil windings are conductively connected to one another on one side, and the rotating coil winding 49 is connected to the secondary winding 42 of the converter 43 via the rectifier 47 and a resistor 50.
Otherwise, the arrangement of the connection terminals 1 ... 4 and the construction of the measuring range selector 5 and 6 is the same as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1. With each of the two measuring range selectors, a current type selector 34 or. 35 necessarily coupled, which in this case can be single-pole. The contact arms 34 and 35 with each other and with the connection point of the moving coils 48, 49 are connected ver. The measuring path selector 32, 33 is also constructed as in the arrangement according to FIG. 1; and switched in the same way with its changeover contacts.
The switching arm 32 is connected via a resistor 51 to the rotary spulwieklung 48 and the Sohaltarm 33 via a resistor 52 to the primary winding 46 of the converter 43, parallel to which a resistor 53 can be. A changeover switch 36, 36 ′, whose changeover contacts are connected to the contacts 37... 40 of the current type selectors 34 and 35 in the manner shown in FIG. 2, is again necessarily coupled to the measuring path selector.
The switching arm 36 is connected to the switching arm 32 and the switching arm 36 ′ is connected to the connection point of the rectifiers 47.
If a DC voltage is to be measured at terminals 1 and 2 in the position shown, a current flows from terminal 2 via the contact arm 5, the series resistors, the switching arm 32, the resistor 51, the moving coil 48, the primary winding 46 resp. the resistor 53, the resistor 52 and the switching arm 33 to the terminal 1. The moving coil 49 is closed via the switching arms 34, 36 'and the resistor 50.
In the case of a direct current measurement following terminals 3 and 4, after the measuring path selector 32, 33 has been switched, a current flows from terminal 4 via the secondary resistors to terminal 3 and a branch current flows via the switching arm 32, the resistor 51, the moving coil circuit 48, the Primary winding'46 resp. resistor 53, resistor 52, switch arm 33, and resistors 29 and 28.
After turning the measuring range selector 5 and 6, alternating voltages and alternating currents can be measured. If a alternating voltage is to be measured at terminals 1 and 2, a current flows from terminal 2 via contact arm 5, the respective series resistors, visual arms 32, 36 and 34, primary winding 46, resistor 52 and switching arm 33 to Terminal 1. The moving coil winding 48 and the resistor 51 are short-circuited.
The alternating currents induced in the secondary winding 42 are rectified in the sliding guides 47 and fed to the moving coil winding 49 via the resistor 50. In a similar way, alternating currents can be measured at terminals 3 and 4 if the current type selector is thrown.
An even simpler circuit is shown in FIG. This corresponds to that shown in FIG. 2 except for the arrangement and circuit of the changeover switch for the current type selector 34, 35, which is coupled to the less path selector and which is constructed as a single-pole changeover switch 36. its contact arms are connected to the connection point of the rotating coils 48, 49 and its alternating contacts. kte are connected to the contact arms 34 and 35 of the current type selector. The switching contacts 37 and 38 respectively. 39 and 40 of the current type selector are connected to one another in pairs, namely the contacts 38 and 40 are connected to the switching arm 32 and the contacts 37 and 39 are connected to the switching arm 33.
If, for example, an equilibrium voltage is to be measured in the position of the switch as shown. a corresponding current flows in the same way as in the arrangement according to FIG. 2 from terminal 2 via moving coil winding 48 to terminal 1. In this case, primary winding 46 of converter 43 is via switching arms 36 and 34 and the resistor 52 self-contained. If an alternating voltage is to be measured, the switching arm 34 is folded over.
Then the moving coil 48 together with the resistor 51 is self-contained via the visual arms 36 and 34, while the moving coil winding 49 is fed from the secondary winding 42 via the rectifier arrangement 47. The arrangement works in the same way when measuring direct currents and alternating currents in connection 3 to terminals 3 and 4.
