Additional patent to main patent no. 191,949. Controller drive controlled by a control relay. In the main patent: A controller drive is described which is controlled by a control relay in dependence on a measured variable. The movable measuring system closes a contact in each end position and thereby switches on the controller drive.
Furthermore, an electrical feedback device is connected to the measuring element, and this also serves as damping of the measuring element.
The use of the feedback device for the damping of the measuring element according to the main patent has the advantage that no special damping element needs to be attached in cases where damping is necessary at all. On the other hand, however, it has the disadvantage that the return exerts a force on the measuring element, so that the measurement force and the return force are superimposed during the return.
This disadvantage. This is avoided according to the present additional invention in that the measuring system not coupled to the feedback device of the control relay carries a contact piece which, in the end positions, hits one of two counter-contacts of the feedback element influenced by the brake disc.
In the drawing, an execution example is shown for the invention. The designations 8-12 of the main patent are retained. As there, the feedback device of the control relay consists of a Ferrari motor 10, 11 with two identical coils 10, the torques of which cancel out when they are both equally excited and which, when excited individually, apply a torque in one sense or the other to the disk or Exercise drum 11.
The feedback motor 10, 11 then drives the tooth segment 15 via a pinion 12, which is withdrawn by the springs 16 into its central position. The toothed segment 15 carries the mating contacts 9. The movable measuring element 14 to which the control contacts 8 are fastened is not coupled to the toothed segment 15. The mode of action is as follows. If the variable to be controlled deviates from the nominal value, the measuring element 14 suggests, for example, to the left until its contact 8 touches the left counter-contact 9.
As a result, as in the exemplary embodiment of the main patent, the adjusting motor of the control element is switched on in the sense of an approximation of the variable to be controlled to the setpoint value. When the contacts 8, 9 are touched, the left magnetic coil 10 is short-circuited at the same time, and the right one causes the Ferraris disk 11 to rotate clockwise, so that the segment 1.5 rotates to the left and the contact between 8 and 9 is canceled again.
As a result of the damping effect of the two excited coils 10 on the disc 11 and the large gear ratio 1.2, 15, the segment 15 is only pulled back relatively slowly into the central position by the springs 16, so that meanwhile (read rule organs Had time to get the rule variable closer to the target value.
As a result, the 3Iessorgan 14 with the contacts 8 has moved closer to its normal position. If the segment 15 is now rotated back faster than that of the measuring organ, nes 14, is, that is to say, the setpoint value is closed. A second contact takes place between the contacts 8 and 9 and the game is repeated. Becomes the setpoint. exceeded in the sense of overregulation, the contacts on the other (right) side take effect and the meaning of the corrective regulation is reversed; around.
The slower the control element works and the more the controlled variable deviates from the setpoint, the more frequent the contact pulses between 8 and 9. The control relay can of course be provided with the necessary setting devices to adapt to the operating requirements.
