Postkartenbrief. Die Erfindung sucht dem Bedürfnis der Geschäftswelt, als Korrespondenzmittel eine Postkarte mit teilweise verdecktem Text zu benützen, entgegenzukommen durch Schaf fung eines sogenannten "Postkartenbriefesll. Sie beruht auf der Erfahrung, dass die Schreibfläche einer Postkarte für einen Teil privater und kaufmännischer Korrespondenz ausreichen würde, sofern sie für verschlos sene briefliche Mitteilungen eingerichtet wäre. Der Postkartenbrief hat daher den Vorteil, für kurze offene und gleichzeitig für kurze verschlossene Mitteilungen zu dienen.
Er ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine postkartenähnliche Karte, das heisst eine Karte mit durch Vordruck ersichtlich ge machtem Adress-, Frankatur- und Textteil, vier Klappen aufweist, die bestimmt sind, den der vorgedruckten Adressseite abgewen deten Textteil für die Postbeförderung ver schliessbar zuzudecken. Der Kartenbrief (tann also, vom Empfänger durch Wegnahme der Klappen geöffnet, als einfache Postkarte ab gelegt werden. Zur Erläuterung der Erfindung wird auf die beigefügte Zeichnung hingewiesen, die ein Beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar stellt.
Die durch die Fälze f begrenzte Fläche 1 der Fig. 1, stellt den Raum für den Brief text dar; 2, 3, 4 und 5 sind die Klappen, die in der Reihenfolge der Zahlen umge faltet und mittels Gummistreifen 6 gemein sam verschlossen werden müssen. Dabei ist der gummierte Streifen 6 so breit, dass die Klappe 5 bei obgenannter Verschlussfolge auf der Fläche 2' mit der Klappe 2, bei 3' mit der Klappe 3 und bei 4' mit der Klappe 4 verklebt ist, ein unbefugtes Öffnen also nicht ohne Spuren möglich ist. Die Klappe 2, (Hauptklappe) bat die Grösse des Textteils, die übrigen Klappen sind kleiner.
Die Fig. 2 zeigt die Vorderseite des ge-, schlossenen Postkartenbriefes mit dem Raum für die Adresse (7), Frankierung, postalische Merkzeichen, Reklame (8) und für offene Korrespondenz (9), die Fig. 3 die Rück seite.
Postcard letter. The invention seeks to meet the need in the business world to use a postcard with partially covered text as a means of correspondence by creating a so-called "postcard letter".
