  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     qnaternären        Aminofettsäureamidderivates.            Gegenstand    des vorliegenden     Patentes    ist  ein     Verfahren    zur     Herstellung    eines     quater-          nären        Aminofettsäureamidderivates,    dadurch  gekennzeichnet,     dass    man     Chloraceto-4-amino-          3'-,4'-.dichlor-1,1'-.diphenylsulfid,darstellbar     durch     Kondensation    des     Natriumsalzes    des       3,

  4-Dichlorthiophenols    mit     4-Nitro:chlorben-          zol,        nachfolgende        Reduktion        und        Chloracety-          lierung,    mit     Dimethylamin        umsetzt    und ,das  erhaltene     Dimethylaminoaceto-4-amino-3',4'-          dichlor-1,1'-,diphenylsulfid    mit     Benzylchlorid     in die     quaternäre    Verbindung überführt.  



  Die neue     Verbindung,    ein weisses, in  Wasser klar lösliches Pulver, eignet sich zum       Schützen    von Pelzwerk, Federn,     Haaren,     Leder,     fibrösen        Materialien    und dergleichen  vor     Mottenraupen    und andern     Frassschäd-          lingen    und als     fungicides    und     bactericides     Mittel.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu<B>110</B> Teilen wässriger     Dimethylamin-          lösung    von 20 % werden 500     Vol.-Teile    Alko  hol und 69,3 Teile Chloraceto-4-amino-3',4'-         di-chlor-1,1'-diphenylsulfid,    hergestellt     durch     Kondensation des     Natriumsalzes    ,des     3,4-Di-          chlorthiophenols    mit     4-Nitrochlorbenzol,    nach  folgende Reduktion und     Chloracetylierung,          zugesetzt        und,die        Mischung    während     24,

  Stun-          den    bei     45-55'C    gerührt. Hierauf werden  der Alkohol und das überschüssige     Dime-          thylamin    mit Wasserdampf     abgeblasen,    und  das     zurückbleibende    ölige Produkt getrocknet.  



  4 Teile .des so erhaltenen     Dimethylamino-          aceto    - 4 =     amino    -     3',4'-,dichlor-1,1'-diphenylsul-          fids    werden in 200     Vol.-Teilen        Benzolgelöst     und mit 13 Teilen     Benzylchlorid    während  24 Stunden auf 70-80   C erwärmt.     Das    aus  gefallene kristalline Produkt     wird        abfiltriert,     mit Äther gewaschen und getrocknet. Die  neue Verbindung bildet     ein    weisses, in  Wasser klar lösliches Pulver.
