Yörriehtung for erecting and folding down a ladder that does not require the help of an assistant. The subject of the present inven tion is a device for erecting and folding down a ladder that does not require the help of an assistant.
According to the invention, the device is characterized by at least one floor screw intended to be screwed into the ground, a support member intended to secure the device in the position of use and serving as a carrier for the screw, and spar shoes that can be slid and swiveled to a limited extent on guides of the device Drawing are shown two embodiments of the invention subject matter.
Fig. 1 shows the device according to the first embodiment in the position of use in elevation, with an indication of a second position of a detail and parts of the ladder, and Fig. 2 in plan, showing a detail offset by 9011. 3 and 4 show the second example on a smaller scale in two views offset by <B> 90 '</B> with parts of the ladder and a detail in a changed position.
In the illustrations according to FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 denotes the shaft and 2 the thread part of a ground screw. Through an eye 3 of the screw shaft, a tube serving as a handle leads rod 4, which rod is fixed to the shaft and at the ends each carries a rail shoe 6 guided in the tube opening and provided with a base for receiving the ladder foot 7. Each spar shoe has such an opening width that spars of different thicknesses can be accommodated by the spar shoe with sufficient clearance. The bottom 5 of each spar shoe serves to support the spar and prevent it from jamming.
Each spar shoe is mounted with an axle pin 8 in the tube opening of the handle bar 4. Each stub axle has a recess 9, the two-sided adaptations of which the extension length of the stub axle respectively. limit the Holmsehubes from the guide by a stop on an adjusting screw 10 (dot-dash stel ment Fig. 1). The screw shaft of the ground screw serves as a carrier for a freely rotatable on the shaft, plate-shaped support member 11 with a bent sharp edge. 12, which serves both to limit the drilling depth and to secure the device in the position of use for the ladder.
Should a ladder be erected or are employed on a wall, tree, etc., the threaded part of the ground screw is screwed into the ground with the help of the handle bar until the sharp edge of the plate 12 is stuck, whereby the device is secured in the ground. Then the ladder foot, respectively. the lower spar ends of the same are inserted lying in the spar shoes rotated according to position I in FIG. The ladder can now be erected without the help of a second person, as the foot of the ladder cannot slip. The erected ladder is now lifted out of the device and brought upright to the desired place.
A ladder is folded in the opposite way, by placing it upright in the stile shoes of the device previously secured in the ground and gradually moving it around without the help of a second person.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the support member 13 is for the device before a [- iron rail, which forms the carrier for two ground screws 14, 15, which are freely displaceable ver in bores of the rail web, square heads 16 to put one Have socket wrench and adapters 17 to limit the drilling depth. At the ends of the iron rail 13, the rail shoes 18 are limitedly displaceable and pivotable by means of guide pins 19 mounted on guide plates 20 fixed on the support member 13 (see dot-dash position in FIG. 4).
When using the device, the support member 13 is fastened to the ground near the selected location by means of the two bottom screws and the ladder foot is guided into the downwardly pivoted rail shoes, whereupon the ladder can be erected without the assistance of a second person. .
All parts of the devices can be made of malleable cast iron.
There could also be more than two floor bolts on a device.
