Description

Loose leaf book. The present invention relates to a loose-leaf book with perpendicular to the cover plane nested pins and tubes. What distinguishes the subject matter of the invention from the known loose leaf books of this type is the fact that the foldable book spine consists of a rigid piece with an L-shaped cross section through which the pins carried by a rail can be inserted into the tubes from the outside, whereby the Rail can be locked in the closed position. This makes it possible to secure the book and its content in a simple way against falling apart.

The accompanying drawing shows schematically and diagrammatically an embodiment example of a loose leaf book according to the invention. The book shown has two covers 1, 1 and the rigid back part 2, which is L-shaped in cross section. In the lower cover, tubes 3, 3 are fixed perpendicular to the plane of the cover and serve to line up perforated sheets (not shown) when the back part 2 is folded back. The latter has two holes 4, 4 which are opposite the tubes 3, 3 when the book is closed.

To hold together the sheets lined up on the tubes 3 and the back part 2 folded onto the latter, pins 5, 5 of a rail 6 are inserted through the holes 4 in the tubes 3 and latches 7, 7, which are attached to the back part 2, are opened the rail 6 pushed. The latter still has a leaf spring 8 which is tensioned when the pins 5 are inserted. When the bolt 7 is pushed back, the rail 6 is lifted from its base as a result of the relaxing spring 8, so that it can be comfortably grasped in order to pull out the pins 5. 9 indicate hinges. 10 is a stop on the lower cover 1 for the back part 2. The latter can, as is known, be directed so that the back width is changeable bar.

PATEXTANSPRrca: loose-leaf book with pins and tubes which can be slid into one another perpendicular to the cover, characterized in that the foldable spine consists of a rigid piece with an L-shaped cross-section through which the pins carried by a rail can be inserted into the tubes from the outside Rail can be locked in the closed position. SUBSCRIBED: loose leaf book according to patent claim, characterized in that when the pins are inserted, a spring is tensioned, which lifts it off the book when the rail is unlocked.
