Power plant with propellant gas generator and propellant gas engine. The invention relates to a power plant with a propellant gas generator and propellant gas engine and consists in the fact that the fuel supply to the propellant gas generator and the propellant gas supply to the propellant gas engine are influenced both by a speed regulator of the latter and by a control device,
which is actuated as a function of the power drawn from the propellant gas engine. The speed regulator and the regulating device also advantageously regulate the air supply to the propellant gas generator. The fuel supply can bezw. the air supply to the propellant gas generator or both, apart from the speed regulator and the regulating device, can also be influenced by the pressure in the propellant gas line.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is shown schematically represents.
FIG. 1 shows a power plant with a propellant gas generator and propellant gas engine that drives a power generator; FIGS. 2 and 3 are diagrams of the paths of individual parts of the control rod during a control process.
The system has free-piston propellant gas generators 1 to 4, which consist of internal combustion cylinders and compressors. A control flap 6 is built into the common air supply line 5 to the compressors. The fuel pumps 7 of the propellant gas generators convey the fuel quantity set by means of the control rod 8 via injection valves (not shown) into the internal combustion cylinders of the propellant gas generators 1 to 4.
The propellant gas of the propellant gas generators 1 to 4 passes through the common propellant gas line 9 into the propellant gas receiver 10 and from there through the line 11 to the propellant gas engine 12, to which it flows through the exhaust gas nozzle 13 into the open or is fed to a second stage, not shown, of the propellant gas engine. The propellant gas turbine 12 drives an electric generator 14. The Seliwung wheel 70 is arranged on the common shaft between the two.
The propellant gas turbine 12 has a nozzle group control. in that the channels 15, 16 and 17 lead to individual groups of nozzles and en controls a common slide 18 kn .
The fuel supply through the fuel pumps 7 and the air supply through the line 5 to the propellant gas generator t'el eD and the propellant gas supply through the line 11 to the propellant gas engine regulated both by the speed controller 19 and by the control device 20 .
The rule t el device 20 is influenced as a function of the power indirectly drawn from the propellant gas engine. A wattmeter 22-9 is switched into the electrical lines 9-1 leading from the power generator 14 to the network.
The lever 24, which moves with the indicator 2.3 of the instrument 222, determines the position of the throttle valve 26 connected to the lever 25 in rotation 28 a Circulation pump 27 for a liquid or gaseous pressure medium, to which the valves 30 are connected upstream of the throttle valve 26 via the line system 29 , 31 and 3 # 2 are connected. The piston 34 of the servomotor 3.0 loaded by the spring 33 engages the joint 35 of the lever 36.
The piston 37 in the servo motor 31 is loaded by the spring 38 and is fixed to the housing 39 of a box connected. The piston 40 in the Kataraktgehäuzw. 39 has a bore 41 and is connected to the joint 43 of the lever 36 by means of the rod -12; The spring plate 44 sits on the rod 42 in the stationary spring housing 4.5. The springs 46 and 47 strive to keep the Pederteller 44 in the center position shown.
The joint 48 of the lever 36 is connected to the joint 49 of the lever 50, on the joint 51 of which > the slide valve 18 is connected and the controller 19 is connected to the joint 52 via the one mounted on the fixed axis 53 , three-armed lever 51 attacks.
The piston 55 in the servo motor 32 is loaded by the spring 5! 6 and with the joint 57 of the lever < B> 58 connected. The controller 19 engages by means of the lever 54 on the joint # 519 of the lever 58 . The joint 60 of the lever 58 located between the joints 57 and 5,9 is connected to the joint 61 of the lever G2 , on the joint 6-3 of which the piston 64 engages, which in the cylinder 6ss under the influence of the spring 67 </ B> and the propellant gas pressure is in the line 11 , which is connected to the cylinder 6,6 by the line 65 .
Finally, the joint 68 of the lever 62 stands by means of the linkage 69 with the control rod 8 and the flap 6 in connection.
The positions of the servomotor pistons, of the regulating members and of the linkage connecting them, shown in FIG. 1, correspond to a balance between the power generated and the power indicated by the pointer 13. If the network 21 is relieved at time t, for , for example by switching off motors, and the power consumed in the network by N, N, (Fig. 2) goes back, the pointer 2 rotates with the lever 24 in the direction of the character.
As a result, the throttle valve 216 is opened more so that the amount of pressure medium flowing through the circulation line 28 increases and the pressure in the line system 29 is below the current level t, prevailing pressure p, decreases (line p in Fig. 2;).
In Fig. 2 and 3 the shifts to the right of the piston and the linkage parts are due to an upward deviation and the leftward displacements are due to a downward deviation from that for the equilibrium state Time t, applicable, drawn baseline given. When the pressure drops, the piston 34 moves to the right as a result of the spring 33 in accordance with the line a from a.
The slide 18 would thus be displaced to the right under the influence of the piston 34 alone and the passage of propellant gas to the turbine 12 would be increased.
Simultaneously with the piston 34, the piston 3.7 of the servomotor 31 moves with the cataract # 39 to 41, the spring member 44, 46 and 47 and the joint 4.3 from b, to the left. As a result of the unequal length of the arms of the lever 36 , the joint 48 also moves to the left (line c), so that the slide over 18 ., -. Emä.ss # of the line e from e, moved to the left and the propellant gas passage to the turbine 1.2 is initially reduced.
At the same time, the piston 5i5 moves from g " the joint 60 from i" as well as the piston 64 under the influence of the as a result of the closure Slide 18 in line 11 initially increases the propellant pressure of k, all to the right, and the resulting displacement of the joint 68 from m, to the right has a corresponding reduction in the fuel supply as a result of shifting the control rod 8 to the left and, the air supply iduroli further closes vein flap 6 </ B > result.
The line k and the line m at the same time give a picture of the change in the propellant gas pressure and the change in fuel and air quantity supplied to Jer.
As a result of the reduced load in. Network at time t, excess power of the propellant gas engine is absorbed by the flywheel racl 70 and the flywheels of the rotors of the propellant gas turbine 112 and the power generator 14.
In the time from t to t, necessary for the acceleration of these masses, the control device 20 has already reduced the fuel and the air supply by a value corresponding to the point m. At time t ## the controller 19 begins to turn the lever 54 counterclockwise as a result of the increase in speed.
As a result, see the joint 52 according to the line d from d "to the left and Jae joint 59 according to the line h from h. to the right. Without the influence of the controller 19 , the movement of the slide 18 would be according to the curve f The movement of the joint 52, slows down the closing movement of the sella valve 18 from point e.
The movement of the joint 59 causes the fuel supply and the air supply to be reduced beyond the amount determined by the control device 20. This can be seen from the further rise in curve m beyond point m.
The Rssa, -ssl device 20 acts a.16 "rough regulation" by the fuel at f and the air7, ufulir at time t, already according to the distance Jes Pun #ktes m, reduced from the baseline, which, let, are set to about the values that are required for the new state of equilibrium at the end of the leveling process.
If the joint 68 moves even further to the right after the time t, this only serves to shorten the time required for the control process. At time t ″, the pressure p #, prevails in the line system 29. The pressure p # ka, bfa, 11 has ended, so that the servomotor pistons no longer move. The pistons 34 and 55 have reached the positions a "and g #.
The spring plate 44 moves it, 11 from now on until the end of the control process. under the influence of the bore 41 of the piston 40 in the cataract unc1, the spring 47 from b "to the right" to the central position shown in FIG. 1. As a result, the valve moves 18 from point e.
from -the time t. on, in an opening sense, and at time t4 his initial position is reached, in order to then open a larger passage despite the smaller capacity of the propellant gas engine.
At the end of the regulation, the spring plate 44 is again in its co-position # back-up # the piston 40, however, according to the displacement of the piston 37 to the left in another position closer to the right end of the housing.
The curves d and h in FIG. 2 show that, at the end of the level specification, corresponding to the speed required for the regulation, within the dffl degree of irregularity of the speed controller B> 19, the joints 52 and 59 assume a new position.
The speed controller 19 thus takes over the "fine control". The division into "coarse" and "fine control" has the advantage, that-ss # the duration of the control past. abbreviated) and the exact setting at the end of .des Reggelvoriganges without large fluctuations in speed resp. power generation .can be achieved ..
Would the propellant gas and the fuel supply only z. B. regulated by means of the speed control 19 , the result would be a control curve which the new setpoints only after various larger and smaller fluctuations he reaches. The bore 41 in the cataract piston 40 could be adjustable or, instead of the bore 41, a line extending around the piston 40 with an adjustable throttle point could be provided.
If the speed of the propellant gas engine 12 is to be precisely adhered to, du means at the end of the control process e back to the value at time t. are brought back, for example, the lever 54 is adjusted by means of a servo motor, the control slide of which is operated by the speed controller 19, or it engages according to FIG. 3 Speed controller 19 only temporarily turns on during the control process and, the control device 2,0 effects the overall adjustment of the slide 18 of the control rod 8 and the flap 6,
which is required to regulate the propellant gas, burning ff- and air supply to the new state of equilibrium.
The speed has the same value at the beginning and at the end of the control process. This can be seen from the fact that the joints 52 and 59 according to the curves d and h return to their original position at the end of the belching process and the curve e runs into the curve f . In general, the displacements of the servomotor pistons and the parts moving with them run with insignificant changes as in FIG. 2.
With an increase in the load on the propellant gas engine respectively. of the energy consumption in the network 21, the movements described proceed in the sense of the opposite sign. The control device 20 can work on the principle of a mechanical power meter which is connected between the propellant gas engine and the machine driven by it. If the propellant gas engine drives a device that generates a thrust proportional to the drive power, e.g.
B. a propeller or a centrifugal pump can be provided as a Regelvor device 20 -a device which is actuated by this thrust.
Instead of the servo motor 31 and the cataract 39 to 41, as much mass can be installed in the turbine or generator rotor or in the flywheel 70 that this is able to absorb the excess power as a result of a reduction in the power consumed and further opening of the slide 18 without a significant increase in speed within the period of time that must pass,
until the control device 20 has reduced the fuel and the air supply to the propellant gas generators 1 to 4 sufficiently. This avoids that the duration of the control process is lengthened and, under certain circumstances, inadmissibly high speed fluctuations occur in the power generator during the Mörende control process, despite the fact that the slide 18 is only set under the influence of the piston 34 and - of propellant gas to the turbine 12 with a reduction in the power taken off,
So the turbine output is increased at the beginning of the control process.
