In der Zeichnung sind Ausführungsbei spiele dieses Gerätes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 einen Vertikalschnitt durch eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform eines E'nt- wicklungsgerätes, bei dem der Filmau.f- nahmebehälter mittels eines lichtdichten Drehschiebers verschliessbar ist und bei dem in den Filmspulenhalter eine Filmspule ein gesetzt ist;

F'ig. 8, wobei aber eine IKontrollfilmpatrone einge setzt ist;
Roll film processor for daylight development. The subject of the invention is a roll film developing device for daylight development which is set up, for example, for treating roll films with protective paper strips or roll films in film cartridges or cassettes, for example with perforated cinema film,
which are to be used in daylight or bright artificial light in the developing device and then unrolled, developed, fixed and watered.
Devices of this type are already known in which the film strip to be developed can be inserted in daylight. There are already development devices known in which the introduction of the film must take place in a dark room and the actual development can only take place in daylight.
According to the invention, a film receiving container, into which liquid normally cannot enter, is arranged on the developing trough, in which the film can be accommodated before it is drawn into the spiral grooves. The trough and film receptacle can be closed by a common, light-tight lid.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of this device are shown, namely FIG. 1 shows a vertical section through an exemplary embodiment of a developing device in which the film receptacle can be closed by means of a light-tight rotary slide and in which the film spool holder has a Film reel is set;
The development trough and the film receiving container are closed by the common cover, FIG. 2 shows a vertical section through the same exemplary embodiment in which the rotary slide closes the film receiving container in a light-tight manner;
the joint cover for the development trough and the film spool container has been removed. The end of the film is clipped to the drawstring attached to the axis, Fi.g. 3 shows a vertical section through the same embodiment at the moment when the film is drawn from the film container into the spiral grooves;
Development trough and film receptacle are closed by the common cover, Fig. 4 is a plan view of the same with example embodiment with the cover removed, Fig. 5 is a vertical section through another embodiment, both of the film receptacle cannot be closed by a rotary slide, so the open it is intended to take films in light-tight cassettes or cartridges,
Fig. 6 shows a vertical longitudinal section through the film receiving container of Fig. 5,: 'ig. 7 is a horizontal section through the film receptacle of Fig. 5, Fig. 8 is a vertical section through a film receptacle according to Fig. 5 with an insert that changes the size and shape of the interior of the film receptacle ver,
9 shows a horizontal section to FIG. 8, FIG. 10 the same section as FIG. 8, with a different film cassette, FIG. 11 a horizontal section to FIG. 10, FIG. 1.2 the same section as in FIG. 9;
A third embodiment of a film cassette is inserted into the film receptacle; the insert for changing the cross-sectional shape and size of the receptacle has been removed, FIG. 13 shows a horizontal section to FIG. 12, FIG. 14 shows the same section as in FIG. 8, but with an I control film cartridge is inserted;
the insert for changing the shape and size of the film receptacle is reinserted, Fig. 15 is a horizontal section to Fig. 14. The development device shown in Figs. 1 to 4 Trough 3 open, in wesent union cylindrical receptacle 4, which can be closed by means of a rotary valve 5 ge, which is not shown in the drawing by a
on the front of the film receptacle attached button or the like can be closed. The outflow opening 18 is provided at the bottom of the trough.
Inside the development trough are the two spiral grooved disks 7, which are connected to one another by an axle 9 and can be turned by means of an externally operable knurled knob 8.
The drawbar 10 is attached to the axle with a suspension bracket 11. At .14 a pivotably mounted guide device 15 is suspended. The film reel is inserted into a reel holder 4a which is arranged above the receptacle 4. The development container of the film receiving container 1 and the compartment 4a for the film reel are closed by a common, light-tight cover 6.
To pull out the protective paper strip 2, a narrow slot 27 is provided between the cover 6 and the receptacle 4.
For development, the film 12 rolled up on a spool 1 with the lid 6 on but the rotary slide 5 open (Fig. 1) is first unrolled by pulling out the protective paper strip 2 from the side into the almost cylindrical receptacle 4 arranged next to the developing container 3,
which can be closed light-tight after unwinding from the outside by means of the rotary slide valve 5. With the cover 6 removed but the rotary slide 5 closed, the suspension clamp 11 fastened to the drawstring 10 is hooked into the beginning of the film that has already been unrolled into the receptacle (FIG. 2).
and then, with the container enclosed, the film is drawn into the spiral grooves by rotating the spiral pulleys 7 via the guide device 15 pivoted at 14 (FIG. 3). The guide device has two lateral guide tabs 1,6, which gently compress the film before it enters the grooves so that the distance between its edges is less than the clear distance between the two opposing spiral grooved disks. The film is drawn into the center of the spiral outwards into the spiral belts.
The guide device 15 is therefore automatically lifted upwards when it is unrolled, namely until the end of the film has passed through the guide device and the film is completely drawn into the grooves 13. The unrolled film sitting in the grooves can then be continuously rotated and moved in the developing liquid during development by rotating the pair of disks. Fixing saline and water are poured in at 17 after development.
The discharge occurs at 1) 8.
5 to 1.5 show other embodiments of the device, namely those for developing roll films, usually without protective paper, located in cassettes or cartridges, for example cinema films, as they are in various small rooms ( Leica, Kodak, Contax, Peggy) can be used.
Here, instead of the receptacle 4 which can be closed against the inside of the development tray, a receptacle 19 is arranged which is open against the inside of the container and which has a light-tight, externally rotatable disc 20 inserted on one end face.
Since the receptacle 19 cannot be sealed against the development trough 3 in a liquid-tight manner, it is attached to the development trough slightly higher so that the liquid cannot normally flow over into it. For example, FIG. 7 shows a section through a disc design when a Leica cassette 23 is opened.
Appropriately, a correspondingly designed disc is used for the various film cases and cartridges (Fig. 8 to 15). The disc can be easily removed in order to be able to replace it with another disc that is adapted to a different cartridge design.
The film cassettes of the various brands have different shapes, some externally protruding locking springs 24 and other unevenness. The inner wall of the receptacle therefore has correspondingly designed grooves and recesses 2! 5, which are designed so that the most varied embodiments of film cassettes can be used in one and the same apparatus.
The inner cross-stitched shape of the starter container can be changed, for example when using somewhat larger cassettes, by inserting or removing a shaped piece that is guided in a dovetail groove 35 (FIGS. 8, 1, 0, 12 and 7.4) can be.
For development, the film cassette or cartridge is pushed into the receptacle 1-9 (Fig. 7). When the development trough is open, the beginning of the perforated cinema film is connected to the drawstring in the manner described above and then the development trough 3 and the receptacle 19 are closed light-tight by means of the common cover 6.
Before the film is drawn into the spiral grooves, the cassette is opened and the film strip 12 is then pulled out of the cartridge and inserted into the grooves using the guide device.
Since the end of the film is held by both glue, Contax and Kodak cartridges on the film reel axis, an externally operated, light-tight knife is arranged directly next to the receptacle, with which the film can be removed Unwind is cut.
Cutting is necessary because otherwise the unrolled film strip could not be rotated or moved during development in the developing bath.
The development time can be determined in a known manner by means of a development timer.
8, 10, 1-4, an insert 32 is shown, through the use of which film cassettes 25 or film cartridges 34 of various cross-sectional shapes can be inserted into the film receiving chamber. If a Peggy film cassette is to be used (Figs. 12 and 13): no insert at all is used.
The replaceable, rotatable and light-tight closing disc 2.0 is used on one end of the receptacle. This has on its inside, for example, a recess 2; 1 as a driver, in which a corresponding pin 22 of the (Leica) cassette engages. By turning to the right: the window 20 can be opened by 180, the film cassette can be opened (Fig. 8 and 9).
A slightly protruding driver 28, which is also provided on the disk and which, when another film cassette is inserted (Contag, FIGS. 10 and 11): depresses the locking pin 29 and thereby releases the locking mechanism of the cassette, causes The Contag cassette can also be opened by turning the disc 2.0 to the right.
The practically completely cylindrical film cartridges (Kodak, Fig. 14 and 1'5), at. which: the film is pulled out through a side slot, can be used like the film cassettes.
The described and: illustrated type of film introduction offers a number of advantages. The film can be fed into: the container already filled with developer. 11Tan achieved: this ensures that the film is flushed evenly and avoids air bubbles and development stains. After unrolling, the film can be constantly moved during the development process. so that-an even, spotless development is achieved.
The layer side of the film does not come into contact with scratching ver-causing edges or the like during unwinding and development. The introduction itself can be done safely and without difficulty. Relatively little developer is required for developing, and if the spiral grooved disks are arranged vertically, it is sufficient if the container is approximately half full.
The developing device is relatively small and handy and suitable for taking with you when traveling. The developing device is expediently made from pressed material (for example from the synthetic resin compound or the like that are commercially available under the protected name "Bakelite").
