Device for heating windows and windshields of cars, airplanes, trams, locomotives, etc. The present invention is a heat radiating radiator, for example to prevent precipitation on the windows of vehicles at low outside temperatures at certain points. The pane can be heated so that no snow or ice can freeze on the outside.
Radiators for heating wind shields are known. In contrast, the present embodiment is new, insofar as a heat reflector is used whose mirror axial sections correspond exactly to a mathematical curve, for example a parabola. What is also new is that the heat source is designed and arranged in such a way that it enables the formation and direction of the bundle of heat rays, for this purpose, for example, is placed at the focal point of a parabola. The heat rays are given a precise direction and the density at the point of impact is then precisely defined.
Means can also be provided to change the direction of the heat rays, for. Example by shifting the focus in a parabolic mirror. Maintaining the exact shape of the reflector and the correct placement of the heat source ensure the greatest possible utilization of the heating energy expended, which is particularly important when it comes to electric heating on vehicles. the load on the batteries.
In the drawing, Ausführungsbei are games and the mode of action dreary invention is shown. In Fig. 1 the principle effect of the reflector is shown; in Fig. 2 a focus shift is shown; FIG. 3 shows a partial shielding of the heat source; in Fig. 4 a round version of the reflector is drawn; Figure 5 shows an elongated shape of the reflector; Fig. 6 shows a gas-heated version. In Fig. 1, 11 represents the reflector executed according to a Para bel. The heat source is 12.
It is assumed to be punctiform in the focal point of the parabola. 13. are the directed heat rays, and 14 is the irradiated disk. With this arrangement, the heat rays run parallel and their density is uniform at the point of impact.
According to FIG. 2, 21 is the reflector, 22 is the displaceably arranged heat source, for example a. electrically heated wire. 23 are the converging heat rays sources. In. the dotted position of the radiator, the heat rays run from each other. This measure makes it possible to change the size of the irradiated area. 24 is the irradiated disk and 25 is a micrometer screw, which is used to move the heat source.
According to Figure 3, 31 is the reflector, 32 is the heat source, 33 is the heat rays, and 34 is the irradiated pane. 3: 5 is a screen that intercepts heat rays going upwards. The arrangement of a screen allows certain points in the irradiated area to be excluded from the irradiation, for example to draw figures with the precipitate.
According to FIG. 4, 41 is the radiator with the round reflector, that is to say designed as a body of revolution. 43 are the heat radiate and 44 is the irradiated disc. 45 is the heated part and 46 the not heated part of the pane.
According to FIG. 5, 51 is the radiator with the elongated, cylindrically curved reflector. 53 are the rays and 54 is the irradiated pane - 55 is the irradiated and 56 the non-irradiated pane.
According to FIG. 6, 61 is the reflector, 62 is the heat source in the form of a body heated by the gas flame 65: 63 are the directed heat rays, and 64 is the irradiated pane.
According to the shape of the reflectors, for example, in the embodiment according to FIG Heat source can be used.
