11lahlvorrichtung for paper and similar materials. The invention relates to a grinding device for paper and similar materials with a grinding roller cooperating with a basic structure and aims to create a device that works continuously in contrast to the Dutch of the usual type. In this device, the substance is to enter continuously at one end of the roll in the form of a strip.
Devices provided with a grinding roller are already known in which the substance enters at one end of the roller and migrates through the device in the course of processing. These are, on the one hand, the so-called cone mills and, on the other hand, milling devices with a roller and base, in which the forward flow of the material through the door direction is inevitable in the form of a screw line. The cone pulp mills can only be used for relatively low fabric densities. In the case of larger consistencies, it is difficult to advance the material from one end of the grinding roller to the other.
The further-mentioned grinding devices with forced forward conduction of the substance have the disadvantage that their guide chambers or adjustable guide or conveying devices built into the axially parallel feed chamber make the structure of the device complicated, but secondly they also offer considerable resistance to the circulation of the substance, which manifests itself both in the wall friction on the individual chamber walls and by attaching the substance to the separating edges of these chamber walls.
The grinding device according to the invention is characterized by a guide channel extending along the grinding roller and a wall running next to it for collecting and conveying the ground material to the base, which is bordered on its inlet end by an obliquely inwardly extending end wall which the addition point for the renewed passage of the substance by about the width of the entry strip after the end of the current, relocated.
In Figs. 1 to 3 an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown for an open grinding device, while Figs. 4 and 5 represent this grinding device for a cap.
Fig. 1 shows a view of the first embodiment from above with the hood removed, Fig. 2 shows a section perpendicular to the axis along line II-II of FIG. 1, Fig. 3 shows a section perpendicular to the axis along line III-111 of FIG. 1, Fig. 4 is a vertical section transverse to the shaft of the second embodiment along line IV-IV of Fig. 5 and Fig. 5 is a plan view of this grinding device.
The actual grinder, consisting in a known way of grinding roller A and base mechanism B , corresponds entirely to that of the usual Dutch. It can also be present with this device before various organs for Verstel len both parts against each other, also near pressure balances and similar parts.
The roller A has the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow in Figures 2 and 3; it throws the substance over a wall C, which can be compared with the goiter of the ordinary Dutchman, against a deflection hood D, which transfers it into a guide channel EI cut out in the base E, in which it flows backwards and downwards to the entry point Base and grinding roller returns.
The fabric occurs at one end of the grinding roller A in the form of a fabric strip of smaller width than the roller width and is conveyed in the manner described over the wall C into the channel E '. This channel now has an inclined inwardly extending end wall e2 on its inlet-side end face, which moves the addition point for the renewed passage of the substance by approximately the width of the incoming material strip towards the outlet end.
At the other end of the grinding roller, the channel E 'has an end wall e3 which is wholly or approximately parallel to the inlet-side wall e'. Beyond this end wall e3, which has an edge e 'resting against wall C, there is outlet F for the fabric. The width of this outlet can be approximately the same as that of the inlet at the opposite end of the roll.
However, in order to be able to change the number of passes of the substance through the grinding point, means are provided to discharge the running out Stoffstrei fen in different widths, measured in the direction of the roller axis. For example, the outlet can be designed as a gutter, the wall e3 of which, facing the inlet side, alone or together with the channel, can be adjusted in the direction parallel to the roller axis. This adjustment makes it possible to remove the material in strips of different widths from the Mahlvor direction and remove it.
The mode of operation of the device described is such that the substance moves from the inlet point to the outlet in screw-like turns and shifts laterally.
The juxtaposition of the fabric strip that has been wrapped around and the newly entering fabric strip gives rise to the fact that the newly entering fabric repeatedly pushes the face in front of the existing one and in this way gradually pushes the fabric that is already in the machine towards the expiring one. The number of grindings can be regulated within wide limits by dimensioning the width of the emerging strip of material. The narrower you choose the strip of fabric at the exit, the greater the number of fabric cycles between the entry and exit.
Since there are no disruptive control flaps or conveying devices on the whole path of the substance from entry to exit, the material feed proceeds with the slightest resistance and without any risk of clogging. Also in the Fig. .F and 5 is provided device for the continuous grinding of paper, pulp and the like, in which the fabric is thrown ge over the roller, the fabric runs in a screw benlinie from the inlet to the outlet. After a single pass through the base from which it is thrown over the roller, the substance introduced in a certain width is given a deflection by a surface that slopes inwards.
As a result, the strip of fabric moves automatically in this inclination to the horizontal over the roller to the outlet end. After passing through the base several times, the material again encounters a guide surface on the end wall of the roller on the outlet side, through which it is separated from the space below the outlet and directed to the outlet. The two guide walls are almost parallel and between them there is a free space in which the circulating material does not encounter any resistance.
According to the second embodiment, the grinding gear consists of grinding roller A and base B, which are arranged in a known manner and can be provided with grinding scales and the same facilities. The material is conveyed over the roller A away under the hood G to the guide channel H which, running parallel to the roller axis, collects the discarded material and leads to the base unit B, which is on the other side of the roller. Between -g "alze A and guide channel H is a wall K. The substance inlet to the base unit B takes place at one end of the roller A through the inlet J, which can be attached to the channel H above or below.
The supplied material meets in a narrow strip fen in the radial direction on the roller and base and is thrown along the hood G to the beginning of the channel H, where it is an inwardly sloping end wall e2 at the inlet J by about the Width of the incoming strip of fabric after the run-out side moves. From here on, the fabric goes with this inclination in helical form around the roller A and the wall K around to the outlet side of the roller.
Here a second guide wall e3 guides it under the outlet F through to the outlet end of the base unit B and the end wall of the roller A, from where it is thrown over the roller into the outlet F.
The width of the strip of material emerging from the outlet does not always have to be the same as that of the material entering. In order to change the number of passages of the fabric strip through the base plant, the exiting fabric strip can be changed in width. The upper part of the outlet-side guide wall e3 can be movable, for example. The narrower the fabric strip is chosen, the greater the number of fabric cycles from the inlet to the outlet end. The wall K can reach just before the base structure; it is adjustable according to the wear and tear of the roller set.
The upper part e5 of the wall K can be inclined from the inlet J to the outlet F to regulate the supply of material to the base unit B, so that the material falling on it experiences an additional axial deflection.
With the help of this grinding device, continuous operation can be maintained, which advantageously precedes the uninterrupted process of paper, cardboard and cellulose production in sheet form who can. By using stone trimmings on the roller and base, a continuous rubbing and kneading effect can be exerted in this grinding machine, for example on material containing specks, which leads to the full breakdown of the nodules or specks.
