Diisenburner, in particular oil burners for steam cookers. The subject of the present invention is a nozzle burner, in particular an oil burner for steam ovens. However, the nozzle burner according to the invention could also be designed for operation with coal dust or the like. In the burner according to the invention, a good mixture of the fuel with the primary air is achieved in that the primary air is passed through the threads of a stationary screw that ends in a cone at the front, in the axis of which the fuel nozzle lies, which in the case of a Oil burner can be a nozzle for high pressure or for low pressure.
The screw is expediently axially displaceable for the purpose of regulating the air flow, as well as the fuel nozzle can be axially displaceable to regulate the fuel flow. The various threads of the screw can have passage cross-sections of different sizes, in which case the screw can then be rotatable in order to be able to regulate the position of the flame laterally.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, and it shows: FIG. 1 the burner for the most part in longitudinal section, FIG. 2 a front view of the screw, FIG. 3 a side view of FIG. 2, FIG Fuel nozzle partly in section and FIG. 5 shows a diagram of the mode of operation.
1 is a spherical housing with a connector 2 for connecting a line for the primary air, which is under pressure. On the housing 1, a cone 3 is screwed on, on which a burner cup 4 is fastened, the round or oval cross-section can have. This cup 4 is provided with openings 5 and 6 for the entry of secondary air. In a connecting piece 7 of the housing 1, a tube 8 is displaceably and rotatably mounted and can be fixed by means of an adjusting screw 9.
On this a screw 10 is attached, which is partly within the half of the housing 1, partly within the cone 3, and in the case of the ribs lying between the flights 20 of the cup 4 are turned obliquely at 25, so that the screw 10 with these bevels 25 of the inner wall of the cone 3 rests. On the pipe 8 sits a stolen collar 11 that serves as a hand and through which the pipe 8 and thus the screw 10 can be rotated.
The pipe 8 and the collar 11, as well as the screw 10 are penetrated by the fuel pipe 12 that, when the adjusting screw 9 is loosened, can be axially displaced in the pipe 8 until a stop 13 strikes the collar 11. On the fuel pipe 12 sits a fuel nozzle 14 (Fix. 4) on the front of the pipe 8 protruding parts. This has several since union holes 15 while it is closed at its tip 16. Open, thread-shaped channels 17 run from the holes 15 and are covered by a hood 18 which is screwed onto the nozzle 14. This hood 18 has an axial fine off-now-19 at the top.
In the present exemplary embodiment, the flights 20 of the screw 10 run to the channels 17 of the nozzle 14, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4, in the opposite direction. Furthermore, as can be seen from FIG. 2, the aisles 20 have passage cross-sections of different sizes.
This burner works as follows: The fuel (for example oil) is pressed through the pipe 12 into the nozzle, passes through the holes 15 into the channels 17, is set in rotation by them and through the opening 19 in one rotating cone into the cup 4 thrown. The primary air penetrates through the nozzle 2 into the spherical housing 1 and is set in rotation by the threads 20 of the worm and thrown into the burner cup 4 in a cone 3 in a cone.
The channels 17 and the threads 20 of the screw can also run in the same direction and the threads 20 have the same cross-section. If, however, the corridors do not have the same cross-section as in the present exemplary embodiment, the flame cone 21 (fix. 5) can thereby be shifted laterally for the purpose of adjustment. In the case of furnace firing with only one nozzle burner, this also has the following advantage, for example: Depending on whether a right or left flue duct is open on the furnace, the draft that occurs on one side has a deflecting effect on the cone of fire 21 (Fix. 5) and pushes it into the dotted one Location 22.
By turning the irregular screw a little so that the threads 20 come to lie with a larger cross-section on the side marked x in FIG. 5, the larger quantity of primary air entering there forces the flame cone 22 back into the normal position 21st
If several nozzle burners are arranged next to each other, then the flame cones 21 and 23 overlap at point y, so that there is no uniform, but rather stronger heating, which is a great disadvantage, especially in steam ovens, with steam pipes located at this point exploding can. If the cone 21 is now directed by turning the collar 11 in the position 22 and the cone 23 in the position of the cone 24, this. Hazardous overlap -y can only be removed by turning the two collars 11.
The imaginary worm located on the right in Fig. 5 is adjusted so that the flights of larger cross-section come to lie towards z, and the imaginary worm located in Fig. 5 so that the flights of smaller cross-section come to lie after x.
The size of the protrusion of the nozzle 14 beyond the screw 10 can be changed by moving the tube 12. The screw can be adjusted by axial displacement of the tube 8, whereby the air passage between it and the cone is regulated.
