Drehschieber.
Rotary valve. The invention relates to rotary slide with a movable sealing device. In known slides of this type, the sealing takes place largely through the tubular slide body, while a movable sealing body, which is hydraulically or mechanically pressed against its sealing seat, serves for complete sealing.
If this movable sealing body is relieved, it moves from its sealing seat and, depending on its stroke, allows a greater or lesser amount of liquid to pass through, which is used for the spaces of the valve housing located below the closing element and the spaces on it the subsequent pipelines to be filled. The tubular slide body is thus relieved before it is actuated, that is to say rotated, and a special external slide bypass is no longer required.
Such a device, however, has the disadvantage that the amount of water flowing through such a device cannot be adjusted from the outside and a certain stroke must not be exceeded if one does not want to risk water hammer in the pipe, while on the other hand a too small stroke of the sealing body is not sufficient to relieve the slide body effectively sam.
The invention, which also relates to a rotary slide valve with a movable sealing device, consists in the fact that, when the sealing device is open, the amount of water still flowing through the slide can be adjusted from the outside without adjusting the stroke of the sealing body.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
It is 1 the slide valve housing with the pipe connection pieces 8 and 9. In this housing, the water pipe connection piece of the tubular slide body 2 is rotatably arranged perpendicular to the axis. On this slide body 2. a sealing ring 4 is fastened on the water inlet side, that is to say on the side of the connecting piece 8, the ring plane of which is parallel to the axis of rotation of the slide body.
The sealing surface of the sealing ring 4 is provided in a known manner on the outer surface of a sphere, the center of which coincides with the intersection of the axis of the valve body and the axis of rotation of the valve body. The sealing ring 3 is provided coaxially to the sealing ring 4 and pipe connection piece 8 in the valve housing and is displaceable in the axial direction of this pipe connection piece; it is pressed against the sealing surface of the sealing ring 4, for example by pressurized water, which is fed to the space 12 through the line 11.
The stroke of this ring 4 is limited by a ring 10 fastened in the valve housing.
The slide body is shown in the drawing in its closed position, from the sealing ring 3, however, in its relieved th, that is, drawn open position. On the side opposite the sealing ring 4 with respect to the slide axis of rotation, the rotating body at 5 is spherical and this spherical part of the slide body closes with little play on a sealing surface 13 in the Sebieberge housing, which is also spherical. Furthermore, a flow channel 6 is provided in the valve housing,
which connects the inlet nozzle 8 with the outlet nozzle 9 when the slide body is in the closed position, but in the open position of the sealing ring 3 within the slide housing and whose cross section corresponds approximately to the maximum passage area in the sealing ring 4.
In the position shown of the slide is the one occurs nozzle 8 in the space 14 of the slide housing entering water. through the channel 6, but practically no water through the gap formed by the part 5 of the valve body and the surface 13 of the valve body in the outlet nozzle 9 overflow. The throttle element 7, designed as a flap, is built into the channel 6 and can be easily operated and adjusted from the outside.
The setting is expediently made so that the valve body is effectively relieved, but not suddenly so much water flows out of the supply stub 8 that the dangerous water hammer, known per se, can occur in the line.
During the opening process of the slide, the procedure is such that the sealing ring 3 is relieved, whereby this ring slides into the space 12, and a passage area is thereby left free of the ring 4; the water now flows into the space 14 and through the channel 6 into the outlet connection 9. When the valve housing and outlet pipe are filled with water, the valve body is relieved and it can now be easily turned into the open position. The closing process of the slide takes place in an analogous manner.
Instead of the flow channel 6 being arranged in the slide housing, it can, like the throttle element 7, also be provided in the slide body itself. This arrangement is not shown in the drawing.
