Tisch. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Tisch, dessen Tischplatte aus zwei in einem gewissen Abstand übereinander an geordneten, für verschiedenartige Gebrauchs zwecke vorbereiteten Platten besteht, und die am Tischrahmen in der einen ihrer Schwer achsen drehbar gelagert ist, -derart, dass sie um einen Winkel von mindestens 180 Grad um diese Achse gedreht werden kann, wobei mindestens die eine der beiden Platten mit Mitteln zur Aufnahme und Verwahrung kleinerer Gebrauchsgegenstände ausgerüstet ist.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei beispiels weise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungs gegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 den Tisch eines ersten Ausfüh rungsbeispiels im Schnitt nach der Linie 1-I der Fig. 2, Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht des Tisches des nämlichen Ausführungsbeispiels, Fig. 3 eine Einzelheit, Fig. 4 den nämlichen Tisch im Schnitt nach der Linie IV-IV der Fig. 2, mit der Tischplatte in schräger Stellung,
Fig. 5 den Tisch eines zweiten Ausfüh rungsbeispiels im Schnitt nach der Linie V-V der Fig. 6, Fig. 6 den Tisch des zweiten Ausfüh rungsbeispiels in der Draufsicht, und Fig. 7 eine Einzelheit.
Bei dem Tisch des ersten Ausführungs beispiels, gemäss Fig. 1 bis 4, besteht die Tischplatte im wesentlichen aus zwei in einem gewissen Abstand übereinander an geordneten Platten 1 und 2. Zur Distanzie rung der Platten 1, 2 dienen die Stirn- und Seitenwände 3 und 4 (Fig. 1), bezw. 5 und 6 (Fig. 4), welche Wände der Tischplatte zugleich ein allseitig geschlossenes Aussehen verleihen. Die Tischplatte ist innerhalb des mit Beinen 7 versehenen Tischrahmens 8, 9, 10 und 11 angeordnet.
In den Stirnwänden 3, 4 der Tischplatte sind Zapfen 12, 13 be festigt, deren Achsen mit der einen Schwer achse A-A der Tischplatte zusammenfallen. Die Rahmenteile 8 und 9 des Tisches weisen auf den einander zugekehrten Seiten bajo- nettverschlussartige Aussparungen 14 auf (Fig. 3), die zur Lagerung der an der Tisch- platte befestigten Drehzapfen 12, 13 dienen.
Unterhalb der Tischplatte -.sind mit Filz stücken 15, 16 (Fig. 4) belegte Riegel 17 und 1,8 vorgesehen, welche um an den Rah menteilen 10, 11 befestigte Zapfen 19 und 20 versehwenkt werden können.
Die Oberfläche der einen Platte 2 ist in üblicher Weise als glatte, ebene Tischfläche ausgebildet, während die Oberfläche der an dern Platte 1 mit zwei Spielplänen 21 und 22 in Form von .Schachbrettern ausgestattet ist. Ausserdem weist die Mittelpartie der Platte 1 drei nebeneinander liegende, recht eckige Öffnungen 28, 24 und 25 auf (Fig. 4), in denen muldenförmige Behälter 2,6, 27 und 28 angeordnet sind.
Diese sind an Dreh zapfen 29, 3-0 und 31 (Fig. 4) in stabiler Gleichgewichtslage frei drehbar aufgehängt, wobei die durch die Drehzapfenpaare 29, 30 und 31 verkörperten Drehachsen der Behäl ter eine zur Dreh- bezw. Schwerachse A-A der Tischplatte parallele Lage einnehmen.
Die beiden äussern Behälter 26 und 28 sind für die Aufnahme der verschiedenfarbi gen Schachfiguren bestimmt, während der mittlere Behälter 27 als Aschenbecher und Rauchzeugträger bestimmt ist. Zu diesem Zwecke sind im Behälter 27 eine herausnehm bare Schale (nicht gezeichnet), sowie seit lich derselben zwei Bohrungen 32 für die Aufnahme von Streichhölzern, sowie eine Reibfläche 33 angeordnet.
Die Handhabung des vorstehend beschrie benen Tisches ist kurz folgende: In der in Fig. 1 und 2 eingezeichneten Stellung befin det sich die mit den Spielplänen 21 und 22 versehene Platte auf der obern .Seite. Der Tisch ist in dieser Lage :der Tischplatte für die Benützung als Spieltisch bereit. Die bei den Riegel 17 und 18 nehmen hierbei eine der in Fig. 4 gezeichnete Stellung entspre chende Lage ein und halten dadurch die Tischplatte in dieser Stellung fest.
Soll der Tisch nach beendetem Spiel an derweitig, zum Beispiel als Esstisch benützt werden, so werden, nachdem die Spielfiguren in die Behälter 26 und 28 untergebracht wor den sind, die. beiden Riegel 17 und 18 durch Verschwenken um die Zapfen 19 und 2'0 in eine aus Fig. 1 ersichtliche Lage gebracht, worauf die ganze Tischplatte zum Beispiel im Sinne des in Fig. 4 eingezeichneten Pfeils B um .die Zapfen 12 und 13 gedreht werden kann.
Ist die Drehung soweit fortgeschritten, dass sich nunmehr die vorher untere Platte auf der Oberseite des Tisches befindet, :so werden die Riegel 17, 18 wieder in die aus Fig. 4 ersichtliche Stellung gebracht, und die Tischplatte dadurch in .dieser Lage fest gehalten. Der Tisch steht nun zur Benützung als Arbeits- oder Esstisch bereit.
Dadurch, dass die muldenartigen Behäl ter 26, 2 7 und 2$ an parallel zur Drehachse A-A der Tischplatte angeordneten Zapfen in stabiler Gleichgewichtslage frei drehbar aufgehängt sind, behalten sie - wie aus Fig. 4 zu ersehen ist - ihre ursprüngliche, wagrechte Lage in jeder Stellung der Tisch platte unverändert bei, wobei weder die in den Behältern 926 und 228 befindlichen Spiel figuren durcheinander geworfen, noch all fällig im Aschenbecher 27 befindliche Asche oder die in den Bohrungen 32 befindlichen Streichhölzer verschüttet werden.
Soll die Tischplatte aus irgend einem Grunde, zum Beispiel zwecks Reparatur oder dergleichen entfernt werden, so kann sie mit Leichtigkeit ohne weiteres aus .den bajonett- verschlussartigen Lagern 14 herausgehoben werden.
Bei dem zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel, gemäss Fig. 5 bis 7, sind die beiden Platten wieder mit 1 und 2, und die beiden Stirn wände wieder mit 3 und 4 bezeichnet. Eben so bezeichnet 22 wieder einen Spielplan in Form eines Schachbrettes, und 26, 27 und 28 drei muldenförmige, für die Aufnahme von Spiel- und Rauchutensilien bestimmte Be hälter.
Von dem vorbeschriebenen Ausführungs beispiel unterscheidet sich .der Tisch gemäss Fig. 5 bis 7 lediglich dadurch, dass die die Tischplatte umgebenden Rahmenteile 8, 9, 10 und 11, sowie die Beine 7 nicht aus Holz, sondern nach Art der Stahlrohrmöbel aus Metallrohr gefertigt sind. A-A bezeichnet wieder die zu den Längsseiten des Tisches parallele Drehachse der Tischplatte, wobei zur Fixierung der Tischplatte, ähnlich wie beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel wieder um an den Rahmenteilen 10, 11 befestigte Zapfen 1.9, 20 verschwenkbare, filzbelegte Riegel 17 und 18 vorgesehen sind.
Statt wie in den beschriebenen Ausfüh rungsbeispielen eines, oder zweier Spielpläne können selbstverständlich auch deren mehrere vorgesehen sein.
Auch können statt der Schachbretter irgendwelche andern Spielpläne vorgesehen sein. Diese können entweder, aus mehr farbigem Holz bestehend, in die Tischplatte eingelassen oder auch nur auf diese auf gemalt oder aufgeklebt sein. Auch ist es möglich, an der einen Platte statt eines Spiel planes einen oder mehrere Jassteppiche nebst zugehörigen Schiefertafeln anzubringen.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Anwendungsart des Erfindungsgegenstandes besteht ferner in dessen Ausbildung als Küchentisch. Hierbei könnte die Oberfläche der einen Platte zur Benützung als Werktisch zweckmässig roh belassen, und diejenige der andern, zum Bei spiel als Esstisch zu verwendenden Platte vor teilhaft mit einem leicht abwaschbaren Be lag, zum Beispiel mit Inlaid oder dergleichen versehen werden. Zweckmässig wäre auch die Drehachse der Tischplatte nicht in die Längs-, sondern in die Quer-Schwerachse der Tisch platte zu verlegen.
Die in diesem Falle zur Aufnahme von Küchengeräten, wie zum Bei spiel Rühr- und Walkhölzer, Tranchiermesser usw. bestimmten Behälter könnten dann vor teilhaft an den Enden der Tischplatte unter gebracht werden, so dass die Mittelpartie der Tischplatte als ununterteilte Werktischfläche frei bleiben würde.

In the table of the first embodiment, for example, according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the table top consists essentially of two at a certain distance one above the other on ordered plates 1 and 2. The surface of one plate 2 is designed in the usual way as a smooth, flat table surface, while the surface of the other plate 1 is equipped with two game boards 21 and 22 in the form of .Chess boards. In addition, the middle part of the plate 1 has three adjacent, rectangular openings 28, 24 and 25 (FIG. 4), in which trough-shaped containers 2, 6, 27 and 28 are arranged.

Another advantageous type of application of the subject matter of the invention consists in its design as a kitchen table.
