Soit en fig. 1: Ti le transformateur'd'alimentation d'un redresseur; T2 le dispositif de régulation automatique; Si la self du dispositif de régulation; ri la résistance de dosage du dispositif du régulation; B le redresseur; rd la résistance du circuit d'utilisation; U la tension d'alimentation; Fi la tension primaire aux bôrnes de Ti; E2 la tension primaire aux bornes de. T2; Ua la tension redressée; Ii l'intensité primaire; I2 l'intensité secondaire;
Sur la fig. 2, on voit un dispositif de régulation automatique, appliqué â un réseau alimenté en tampon par un redresseur R et une batterie d'accumulateurs B. Soit: B la batterie d'accumulateurs; Ti le transformateur d'alimentation; T2 le dispositif de régulation; Si la self du dispositif de régulation; ri la résistance de dosage du dispositif de régulation; r2 une résistance supplémentaire réglable; R un redresseur; rd la résistance de débit de la batterie; U la tension d'alimentation; E, la tension primaire aux bornes de Ti; L. la tension primaire aux bornes de T2;
Sur la fig. 3, il est prévu un exemple d'application du dispositif de régulation au compoundage de machines électriques. Soit: 9. un alternateur; .E l'enroulement d'excitation; rd le circuit de débit; Ri un redresseur; R2 un second redresseur; Ti le transformateur d'alimentation de l'excitation; T2 le dispositif de régulation; ,Si la self de ce dernier; T3 un transformateur d'intensité; I l'intensité débitée; Û la tension aux bornes de l'alternateur; I2 l'intensité débitée par Ri; Ü2 la tension aux bornes de l'excitation;
Automatic regulation device for supplying electrical devices by means of a current rectifier. The object of the present invention is an automatic regulation device for the supply of electrical appliances by means of a current rectifier, comprising an inductance connected to the AC supply circuit and established so as to have its action modified by varying the degree of flux saturation of its magnetic circuit, this device being characterized by means for adjusting the degree of its turation of the magnetic circuit of the inductance.
It is known that when current rectifiers having a certain resistance, for example rectifiers of the "dry contact surface" type, are employed for the supply of circuits with variable flow, it is difficult to obtain a constant supply voltage, because the voltage surge in the rectifier increases with the load.
The present invention overcomes this drawback by means for adjusting the degree of saturation of the magnetic circuit of the induction.
Arrangements make it possible to obtain automatic regulation of the voltage of the rectified current when the load requested from the rectifier varies within wide limits. If the user circuit comprises in particular a charged battery "in buffer" and outputting on a network, it is possible to obtain that the variable current required by the network is supplied entirely by the rectifier so that the battery is maintained at its maximum. of capacity despite load variations.
In this case of a buffered battery, there are simple means available to precisely adjust the float current of the buffered battery.
Finally, in general, it is possible to carry out, in a simple and practical manner, the compounding of an electric current generator or the regulation of the speed of electric motors.
To achieve the invention, the self provided in the AC power supply circuit must be such that its action is adjusted by variation of the degree of saturation of the magnetic circuit. For this purpose, it may more especially include two windings, one of which is connected in series or in parallel to the alternating current source, and the other also in series or in parallel to the circuit by running direct current.
In addition, in the case where the user circuit comprises a battery supplied with a buffer, the maintenance current of the battery and the regulation coefficient can be adjusted independently, the regulation device being connected to the circuit between the battery. battery and the network of use, which keeps the battery at maximum capacity despite load variations.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, several embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows an automatic regulation device applied to the direct supply of a rectified current network; Fig. 2 represents a regulation device applied to a network supplied with buffer by a rectifier and a battery; Fig. 3 shows an application of a positive regulation device to the compounding of electric machines.
Either in fig. 1: Ti the power supply transformer of a rectifier; T2 the automatic regulation device; If the choke of the regulating device; ri the dosing resistance of the regulation device; B the rectifier; rd the resistance of the user circuit; U the supply voltage; Fi the primary voltage at the terminals of Ti; E2 the primary voltage across. T2; Ua the rectified voltage; Ii the primary intensity; I2 secondary intensity;
ii the secondary intensity of Si; i2 the intensity in ri.
The regulation device T2 comprises 1 A regulation inductor Si comprising: a primary winding a1 through which the AC supply current flows; a secondary winding a2 through which the rectified current to be regularized. This winding a2 is made in such a way that it can magnetize the magnetic circuit or circuits on which it is mounted, but that the component of the alternating fluxes induced by the primary winding a1 and to which it is subjected is zero, so that the self If no alternating current is introduced in the rectified circuit.
Magnetic circuits can be arranged in different ways; it suffices that their arrangement produces the cancellation of alternating flows in the secondary winding.
2 A resistor ri connected in parallel to the secondary winding a2 of the choke. The operation of the device is as follows: When the rectified current is very low, the current ii which passes through the secondary winding a2 of Si is very low and the magnetic circuits of Si are far from being saturated: the value of the choke of the primary winding ai of Si is maximum, the AC supply current is h, and the rectified voltage across the network is U2.
When the flow 12 in the network increases, the current ii increases in proportion according to a certain coefficient and produces a progressive saturation of the magnetic circuit (s) of Si. As a result the value of the choke of the primary winding ai of Si decreases and the voltage Et at the terminals of the primary of Ti increases. The rectifier is therefore supplied at an increasing voltage which compensates for the also increasing voltage loss in the rectifier and therefore the voltage U2 of the rectified current remains constant.
The function of resistor ri is twofold: 1 By judiciously combining its value with respect to that of the secondary winding as of Si, we adjust the ratio between current ii and current 12: we can therefore, without modifying the choke If, adjust the regulation coefficient of the positive device very precisely. This makes it possible to obtain at will and with precision either simple regulation, voltage Us constant with the load, or super-regulation, voltage U9 increasing with the load, or under-regulation.
2 The resistor ri diverts the AC component of the rectified current so that the latter does not cross the choke Si, which would produce effects which are harmful to the regulation.
In fig. 2, we see an automatic regulation device, applied to a network supplied as a buffer by a rectifier R and an accumulator battery B. Let: B be the accumulator battery; Ti the power supply transformer; T2 the regulation device; If the choke of the regulating device; ri the dosing resistance of the regulating device; r2 an additional adjustable resistance; R a rectifier; rd the flow resistance of the battery; U the supply voltage; E, the primary voltage across Ti; L. the primary voltage across T2;
U2 the voltage across the flow resistor; Ii the primary intensity; 12 the discharge intensity of the battery; Is the charge current of the battery; ii the intensity in the secondary of S ,; i2 the intensity in ri.
The regulation device T2 is interposed on the user circuit; here it comprises the additional adjustable resistor r2 connected in parallel to the primary winding ai of Si.
The operation of the device is as follows: when the operating current 12 is very low or zero, the value of the choke of the primary winding ai of Si is maximum. By suitably adjusting the resistor r2, the voltage Ui at the terminals of the transformer Ti can be adjusted very precisely so that the holding current of the battery has a given value. If at the end of a certain time, one wishes to modify the value of this current, it is easy to do so by modifying the value of r2 without touching the other devices.
When the operating current 12 increases, the device operates as explained above and the charging current 1s supplied by the rectifier and in a substantially constant ratio with the discharge current 12.
By means of the resistor ri, this ratio can be determined according to the performance of the battery so that the charge of the latter remains the same despite the variations of the network all the current i2 being supplied by the current Is.
It can be seen that in this assembly, the battery is in fact only a reservoir of energy used in the event of a lack of current; it can also be removed without modifying the essential characteristics of the circuit.
After a prolonged power interruption, the voltage at the battery terminals drops. When the current is restored, the output voltage of the rectifier group being higher than the voltage of the battery, the latter receives a charging current proportional to the difference in voltages. When the battery voltage returns to normal, it only receives the float current, the value of which was determined by adjusting resistor r2.
In fig. 3, an example of application of the regulation device to the compounding of electric machines is provided. Either: 9. an alternator; .E the excitation winding; rd the flow circuit; Ri a rectifier; R2 a second rectifier; Ti the excitation power supply transformer; T2 the regulation system; , If the self of the latter; T3 a current transformer; I the current output; Û the voltage across the alternator; I2 the intensity delivered by Ri; Ü2 the voltage across the excitation;
El the primary voltage across Ti; E2 the primary voltage across T2; ri the dosing resistance of the regulating device; ii the secondary intensity of Si; i2 the intensity in ri.
The alternator A has the excitation winding E supplied by the rectifier R2. This rectifier is supplied by the transformer Ti connected in bypass on the circuit of use (resistance rd).
The positive regulating device Ta, itself supplied by the user circuit, by means of the rectifier Ri and the transformer Ts, is introduced into the branch circuit. The operation is as follows When the current I in the user circuit is zero, the current L in the regulator is zero, the self-regulator value is maximum, the voltage Ei at the terminals of the transformer Ti is minimum, the excitation voltage is ZT2.
When I increases, 12 increases according to a ratio determined by the adjustment of Ri, the self-regulator of the regulator is progressively saturated, the voltage Ei at the terminals of the transformer increases and the excitation voltage M also and consequently the voltage d The use Ü remains constant despite the load.
It is obvious that one can carry out the compounding of the electric machines by means of a regulation device T2 in a manner different from that which is exposed above, according to the aim which one. offers itself and the characteristics of the machine.
