Elektrischesa ehshaaläns; @ raame @@ The permanent @llagnets system electrical rotary spinning instruments, for example T-reuzrpulinstruments, is usually atis nia \; netically hard and mechanically;
netiscli soft parts composed. Up to now, the magnetic field strength has been generated in the volume of magnetically hard material required for the movement of the moving coil Partly distributed.
In the first case the entire magnet body exists and in the second. Trap, which is known to the two:
gufeienm- "neten with pole pieces made of magnetically soft material, the longest part and in particular the middle, usually yoke-shaped part of the magnet system made of magnetically hard material not adjacent to the air gap.
The electric moving coil instrument according to the invention is provided with a MagDet system, in which, in contrast to the previously usual structure, the magnetically hard material is arranged near the air gap, while the parts not adjacent to the air gap are made of magnetically white material .
The use of A-magnets constructed in this way means a considerable saving in space and weight, since significantly smaller magnets can be used and, as a result of the reduction in the harmful leakage flux, a very favorable increase in the field strength in the air gap is achieved. The most favorable conditions are obtained when the entire magnetically hard material is arranged directly at the air gap. Under certain circumstances, however, it is advisable to arrange the magnetically hard material at other points on the air contact line path that are not immediately adjacent to the air gap.
The physical difference in the structure of the permanent magnets mentioned compared to the previous structure can be seen from the fact that the decrease in the demagnetization factor in the previously used magnets with increasing leg or yoke length of the magnet, in those used according to the invention Magnets on the other hand takes place with decreasing leg length. This leads to,
that especially in the case of magnetic materials with a very high coercive force, the dimensions of the magnetically hard parts in the direction of the lines of force can be made smaller than in the perpendicular directions, which can be used to particular advantage in measuring instruments of this type.
Accordingly, the length of the magnetically hard parts in the direction of the magnetic flux can be made smaller than the largest dimension of the cross section. Furthermore, the new structure of the magnet system has the advantage that, provided that the volume of the magnetically hard material is the same, the energy utilization is about three times the value compared to the previous structure.
In the accompanying drawings, various embodiments of the magnet system of a moving coil instrument according to the invention are shown schematically.
The magnet system according to FIG. 1 consists of a preferably 21 made of soft iron surrounded by the cylindrical air gap 1, the two pole pieces 3 made of magnetic steel and a soft iron forming the external magnetic circuit. yoke 4. In the drawing, the case is shown that the pole pieces 3 are also provided with pole pieces 5 made of soft iron.
The arrangement of these pole pieces be made of soft iron is initially for manufacturing reasons. The magnetically hard materials usually have the disadvantage that they are difficult to work with and consequently cannot be produced with the precise required mass at the air gap. The magnetically soft materials, on the other hand, are usually easier to work with.
In addition, this arrangement has the advantage that the magnetic field generated by the pole pieces 3 is distributed more evenly over the air gap. However, the surfaces of the pole pieces 3 facing the iron core 2 can also be directly cylindrical so that the soft iron pole pieces 5 are omitted. Instead of the one-sided graft line connection drawn in FIG. 1 through the U-shaped piece of soft iron 4, any differently designed, for example double-sided force line connection, can be selected.
But you can only make the like 2 out of magnetically hard material. The parts of the magnet system lying outside the air gap can then consist entirely of magnetically soft material. In this way, a further reduction in space requirements and weight is achieved. This embodiment resembles the previously common design of moving coil or cross-coil instruments, but represents a complete reversal in terms of the materials used to build the magnet system.
In. Figs. 2 to 10 such magnet systems are shown for moving coil instruments. Here 6 always denotes the existing made of magnetic steel like and 7 the outside of the air gap 8 part of the magne tables old man. The part 7 forming the conclusion of the lines of force consists in the exemplary embodiments illustrated by FIGS. 2 'to 10 consistently of magnetically soft material. In all figures, the center position of the moving coil is indicated by a line A-B.
In the magnet system shown in Fig. 2 and 3 in two views to a one-sided horseshoe-shaped final yoke 7 is provided, which in the direction of the axis of the moving coil consistently has the same height. If the height h2 is not too great, it can be made from a piece of sheet iron of the appropriate thickness by punching. Since the field strength in the soft iron can be chosen to be much higher than in the core 6 made of magnetic steel, it is useful to make the height h_ smaller than the height hl of the core 6.
In the exemplary embodiments illustrated by FIGS. 4 to 7, the end yoke 7 is formed on both sides. 4 and 5 show a top view and center section of a yoke which is expediently made of cast iron and has a correspondingly larger cross section because of the relatively low magnetic conductivity of the iron used.
In the vicinity of the air gap 8, the cast body 7 is provided with machining surfaces that are raised compared to the other parts of the cast body. The lower surfaces 9 are intended to support the cast body on a base and the upper surfaces 10 as support surfaces for a magnetic core 6 and the location tion for the moving coil receiving Zen trier.
6 and 7 show two views of a magnet system in which the end yoke is preferably made from a piece of sheet iron of thickness h. The shape shown in FIG. 7 can be produced, for example, by drilling three holes of the appropriate size from a piece of sheet metal cut out in the appropriate size and removing the remaining intermediate webs by milling. If necessary, the yoke can also be made up of several correspondingly machined metal sheets, which are layered on top of one another and held together by any known means, for example by riveting.
If the strength of the magnetic field in the air gap should not be constant, for example, in order to obtain a non-linear scale, or in cross-coil instruments, the width of the air gap along the pole faces can be of different sizes. This can be done by appropriately designing the pole faces of the final yoke. Thus, FIG. 8 shows an end yoke 7 in the form of an oval iron pipe. This creates an air gap which is smallest in the line A-B corresponding to the center position of the moving coil. The result is an instrument whose sensitivity is greater in the middle of the scale than at the ends.
With greuzspulinstrumenten a magnetic field is usually required, which increases in the sense of the movement of the directional coil exerting the counter-torque. The around. Measuring coil arranged offset at a certain angle 99 relative to the directional coil should move simultaneously in a uniform magnetic field or a magnetic field which decreases in the sense of rotation.
A suitable form of the magnet system is shown, for example, in FIG. A'-B 'represents the central position of the directional coil 11 and the line A-B offset from it by the angle 9p represents the central position of the measuring coil 1, 2.
The closing yoke 7 surrounding the cylindrical magnetic core 6 is designed so that the directional coil 11 in the direction of rotation indicated by the arrows in a narrowing of the air gap 8, i.e. in a stronger magnetic field, while the measuring coil 12 is simultaneously in a magnetic field moves, which is almost uniform or decreases a little in the direction of the arrow.
FIG. 10 shows an embodiment which is particularly suitable for those cross-coil instruments in which the directional coil 11 does not surround the core in its full width. The magnetic core 6 is again designed cylindrically, and the Sehlussjoch 7 is worked out 5o that on the one 'side' a uniformly wide air gap 8 is created, while the air gap 8 'on the opposite side runs unevenly.
The effective turns 11 of the straightening coil, which is split into two parts, are offset by an angle cp from the center AB of the measuring coil 12 and, when rotated in the direction of the arrows, move into a stronger magnetic field, while the field in which the measuring coil is located 12 moves, changes relatively little. The embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 to 10 still have the problem that the strength of the magnetic field in the air gap is generally not uniform.
In order to avoid this disadvantage, the parts of the core, which is otherwise made of a ma, gne t: sch hard material, directly adjoining the air gap, can be made of soft iron.
In this case, experience has shown that the magnetic lines of force are distributed in the magnetically soft material in such a way that the flow of force becomes almost uniform in an air gap that is the same everywhere, even with considerable inequalities in the magnetically hard part of the core. It is particularly advantageous to design the core in such a way that the expansion of the central part of the core made of magnetically hard material in the direction of the lines of magnetic force is the same at all points. The magnetically hard part of the core is expediently designed so that the density of the lines of force in this part is as uniform as possible.
By special shaping of the approaches on the magnetic core or the ends of the end yoke, on the other hand, the field distribution in the air gap and thus the scale profile can be changed at will in a known manner, without affecting the most favorable magnetization and the even field distribution in the magnetically hard material to change. Such an embodiment is shown in Fig. 11 and 12 in two views. FIG. 12 is a plan view and FIG. 11 is a section along the line A-B in FIG. 12.
The core of the magnet system consists in its central part .14 of magnetically hard material, preferably of such a particularly high coercive force and two pole shoe-like attached to it on side parts 15, which consist of magnetically soft material. The middle part of the core has the shape of a body delimited by six flat surfaces parallel to each other in pairs, with the side parts 15 adjoining two opposing surfaces.
The side parts are profiled segment-shaped and arranged in such a way that their cylindrical surfaces complement to a full cylinder surface, as indicated in Fig. 12 by the dotted line. The individual parts of the core can be connected to one another by any known means, for example by riveting or welding.
The inference of the magnetic force lines outside the air gap required for the movement of the moving coil can be effected by a yoke 16 of any shape, closed on one or both sides, which is made of magnetically soft material. In the drawing, a double-sided closed yoke is shown, the pole surfaces of which face the cylindrical surfaces of the pole pieces 15 of the core at equal distances everywhere.
