Description

Contact device for musical instruments, in particular organs. The present invention relates to a con tact device for musical instruments, in particular special for organs. An embodiment of the same is shown in the accompanying drawing in Fig. 1 in vertical section and in Fig. 2 in front view.

The contact spring a of about 1.2 mm in diameter and the mating contact wire g of about 0.4 mm in diameter are made of Fe derhartem phosphor bronze wire, but could also be made of other spring-hard wire. The axis of rotation e for the spring a is made of the same metal wire and has a diameter of 2 mm.

Thanks to this design, a separate power supply is no longer necessary; because the axis e is also a conductor. Wip. penstock 1, key base i and the contact block b serving as a holder for the wire seams g are made from pear wood. hn contact blocks b have space for up to twelve pieces of contact wires g next to each other.

The contact gap can be regulated by means of the regulating screws f and f 1 . The key drop can be regulated by means of the regulating screw k. The key pad is only glued to a third of its width on the key base so that the felt on the side of the regulating screw can easily go up with the screw when readjusting the regulating screw k.

The seat of the contact spring a at the outer end of the key d and the key weight c is a pleasant way of playing it aims. The contact spring a can also be used very advantageously for different types of register pulls or register keys, as well as for collective push buttons and steps.

When you press the button d approaches, describing a small arc, the outer, bent at right angles end of the con tact spring a the upright counter contact wire g in the contact block b and comes into contact with them. The arc movement of the contact spring a causes a certain amount of dragging on the mating contact wires g, which is of value in order to achieve a good and reliable contact closure.
