Eyeglass earbuds with precious metal donut wire wrapping. The invention relates to a spectacle ear hook with a noble metal double wire wrapping, in particular a gold alloy double wire wrapping. The idea of the invention exists.
in using a wire for the wrapping, which is provided with an unevenly thick noble metal coating, and the arrangement is made so that the noble metal jacket of the wrapping wire on the outer surface of the ear hook has a greater accumulation of material than on the rest of the part.
In this way it is achieved that with a certain amount of precious metal one achieves a much more resistant ear hook than before, since its primarily stressed areas fall into the area of the precious metal accumulation, which makes these ear hooks an extremely strong one Stress have grown; the increase in service life is thus achieved without increasing the amount of precious metal. A gold alloy is primarily a possible noble metal because this material is the usual material in eyeglass earpiece manufacture.
Within the scope of the invention, of course, the use of double gold wire or a wire doubled with another noble metal is provided, provided that the noble metal jacket of the winding wire on the outer surface of the ear hook has a greater accumulation of noble metal than on the rest of the part.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is given again in the drawing and is described below. It shows: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through a section of the eyeglass ear hook according to the invention, FIG. 2 a partial Seitenan view of the eyeglass ear hook.
The eyeglass ear hook is composed of an inlay wire a, an inner wrapping consisting of fine wire b and the outer wrapping consisting of a wire c with gold alloy sheathing. 1 shows that there is a comparatively thick gold alloy layer e on the outer surface of the temple arm. This gold alloy layer is in any case considerably thicker than the rest of the casing.
The outer surface d 1 of the spectacle arm represents an essentially smooth cylinder jacket. The gold alloy jacket of the wire c could also extend over it. stretch the entire circumference. It also makes no difference to the invention if the inner winding is omitted, so the wires c are wrapped around the insert wire a.
