Description
Schuh-Untersohle.
Shoe sole. Today's shoe soles, verbun to the leather sealing frame, have the disadvantage that they do not fully protect against water permeability; Even by using an ordinary rubber sole, complete water impermeability has not yet been achieved.
The present invention aims to guarantee the waterproofness of the finished shoe through a rubber outsole with a molded sealing bead from below and to the side and at the same time to maintain the greater flexibility that the rubber sole has ahead of the leather sole.
The accompanying drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject invention. It shows: Fig. 1 is a cross section of the rubber sole, Fig. 2 is a cross section of a shoe with a rubber sole, and Fig. 3 is a semi-finished shoe with a rubber sole in perspective view. The shoe bottom a is cast in one piece together with a sealing bead b, which is also made of rubber and which is arranged in the vicinity of its edge.
In the finished shoe (Fig. 2), the rubber bottom a with a sealing bead b is mounted between the upper leather c and the outsole d.
The sealing bead b closes on the side of the finished shoe. The upper leather tightly and leaves no space. As a result of this fact and thanks to the material used for the sole, the water permeability from below and to the side is excluded.
