Gemäss der Erfindung werden die höher gespannten Abgase beim Expansions hub des Kolbens durch vom Kolben zuerst freigelegte Schlitze einer Abgasturbine zu geleitet und spätestens nach Eröffnung wei terer vom Kolben gesteuerter, für die Ent fernung der restlichen Abgase dienender Schlitze wird durch die für die Ableitung des Vorauspuffes dienenden Schlitze Frisch luft in den Zylinder eingeführt. Die vom Kolben beim Expansionshub zuerst freigeleg ten Schlitze oder Schlitzreihen können durch ein gesteuertes Organ für den Vorauspuff mit einer zu einer Abgasturbine führenden Leitung verbunden werden;
Fig. 11 und 2 zeigen einen Zylinder einer Zweitaktverbrennungskraftmaschine im Schnitt gegen Ende des Expansionshubes; Fig. 3 zeigt eine Variante viit. dem Kol ben zu Beginn des Kompressionshubes;
Fig. 4 ist ein Kürbelkreisdiagramm.
Two-stroke internal combustion engine with slot scavenging and exhaust gas turbine. The invention relates to a two-stroke internal combustion engine with Schlitzspü. development and charging by exhaust gas turbine fans.
According to the invention, the higher tensioned exhaust gases during the expansion stroke of the piston are passed through slots of an exhaust gas turbine first exposed by the piston and, at the latest after opening, further slots controlled by the piston, serving for the removal of the remaining exhaust gases, are passed through the slots for the discharge of the pre-exhaust Serving slots fresh air introduced into the cylinder. The first exposed th slots or rows of slots by the piston during the expansion stroke can be connected to a line leading to an exhaust gas turbine by a controlled member for the pre-exhaust;
this connection can be interrupted at the latest after the slits or rows of slits opened by the piston have been covered and the rest of the exhaust gases can escape from the cylinder through the slits later released by the piston, bypassing the exhaust gas turbine.
There are internal combustion engines with compressors driven by exhaust gas turbines known in which the exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine are fed separately into a turbine by the advance puff, for example, through valves on a first stage of the turbine, another part of the exhaust gases through slots in another stage the turbine is directed,
or in that the pre-exhaust is led through slots of the first stage and the rest of the exhaust gases through valves of a further stage of the turbine, or in the case of divided slots the exhaust gases flowing out through the slots opened by the piston first to the first stage and through those released by the piston later Slots outflowing exhaust gases are directed to a further stage of the exhaust gas turbine.
It is also known in two-stroke internal combustion engines to direct the pre-exhaust through a special row of slots onto a turbine and to feed the rest of the exhaust gases through a row of slots later covered by the piston for cooling the turbine. It is also known to take the exhaust gases through slots in the cylinder and to guide them in their entirety into the same stage of an exhaust gas turbine.
Two embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically in the drawing.
11 and 2 show a cylinder of a two-stroke internal combustion engine in section towards the end of the expansion stroke; Fig. 3 shows a variant viit. the piston ben at the beginning of the compression stroke;
Figure 4 is a pumpkin circle diagram. According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the cylinder 2 enclosed by a jacket 1 is provided on one side with slots 4 that are first covered by the piston 3 during the expansion stroke and slots 5 that are later covered. The slots 4 can either be connected to a line 7, which leads to an exhaust gas turbine 20, or to an air space 8 through an organ 6.
The exhaust gas turbine 20 drives a turbo blower 21 which is connected to the air space 8 by the line 22. The control of the organ 6 takes place from a control shaft 9 which, by means of a cam 10, acts on a lever 11 which, against the action of a spring 12, adjusts the organ 6 by means of a rod 13.
The operation of the in Figures 1 and 2; The internal combustion engine presented is as follows: During the expansion stroke of the piston, the more highly stressed exhaust gases (pre-exhaust) flow through the pre-exhaust 7 into the exhaust gas turbine 20 when the slots 4 are freed from the piston 3 (point a, FIG. 4).
After opening the exhaust slots 5 by the piston 3 (point b, Fig. 4), the control organ G is brought under the action of the cam 10 in the position shown in Fig. 2 (point c, fix. 4), so da.ss the discharge of exhaust gases through the line 7 into the exhaust gas turbine is interrupted, whereas the intake of fresh air through the slots "4" is effected.
The rest of the exhaust gases are diverted through the slots 5 into the exhaust line 16 until they are covered by the piston 3 during the compression stroke (point d, Fig. 4). The cylinder is charged by the air conveyed by the blower 1 into the room 8 and now flowing through the slots 4 that were previously used to discharge the pre-buffer, until the slots 4 are also closed by the piston (point e, Fig. 4) , whereupon the organ 6 under the action of the spring 12 in the position of the piston (point f, Fig. 4) shown in dashed lines in Fig. 2 is switched again.
As a result, the slots 4 are connected to the line 7, so that 'during the following expansion stroke, the pre-exhaust is directed back to the exhaust gas turbine. Fig. 3 shows an embodiment in which the slots 5 are arranged opposite the carriage 4.
